WCEG is awesome, my daughter has been attending for about 4 months now. She's 4, listens like any 4 year old and every coach she's had so far has been incredible. Patient, effective and they all seem to enjoy what they do. Which in turn lets these little animals enjoy the time spent there too. Sunny and his team are great, the system and communication is excellent, and the extra events they have from time to time seem to be a nice meshing of family and staff. It's not easy to get a spot so make sure you are diligent in getting one for your little. The place is clean, taken care of and you can see the quality of the equipment is in good condition. There might be some obscure zoning requirement for youth gymnastics establishments that the parking area must not exceed 0.036% of the total lot. Much like other local gymnastics businesses in the area, the parking lot here is small, and the adjacent intersection is a whimsical journey of a thousand turns in the wrong direction. That said, once you figure out where to park (generally on the neighborhood street nearby), this place is one of the best local gyms around for your budding olympian. Built on the site of an old egg ranch (no, really... egg ranch) the gymnastics area itself is expansive: a full size floor exercise area, beams, trampolines, rings, and lots of gym equipment. Ample seating is available for parents, far enough away from the athletes to avoid armchair coaching. The staff is the right mix of supportive and stern, adjusting perfectly to motivate and train my three differently aged kids of 10, 6, and 4. Each is appropriately placed in a training program for his/her age and ability level, and each has enjoyed their time here tremendously, with plenty of pushing and positive reinforcement from the coaches. I am impressed with the dedication to safety and procedures to support learning here. Some of my own former students have trained here and earned college scholarships for their efforts, no doubt through the effective teaching of the staff at Elite. I have also attended a "field trip" here during the school day, in which students were given the opportunity to try out the different activities under the watchful eye of the coaching staff. Overall, this is a great place to support kids to participate in a healthy activity that develops their minds, their perseverance, and their physical health. Prices are comparable and reasonable when compared with other places, and the coaches seem to know every child's name. Little things like that--that build rapport with youngsters and their parents--make a big difference. If you have a kid who is spending a little too much time staring at a small screen and/or who has expressed an interest in gymnastics, this is a great place to get started. read more

Impressive facility and coaches. My kid has been coming here and loving it. We first came to WCEG as part of a birthday party. But my kid has been loving gymnastics ever since. As a parent, you try to foster whatever interests your child has - and hopefully something sticks. And i was very glad that this activity actually stuck ( after music, art, karate classes, hahahah). I truly believes that the coaches play a big role in this. To be very fair to them - they are walking a fine line between pushing the kids too hard versus pulling them back from their true potentials. This is especially hard given the kids they work with are young. They are very fair in their construction criticism. But they are liberal at giving out praises and high-fives. As for the the hardwares - The facility is big and clean. The staff is very easy to talk to. Elizabeth runs a really awesome ship - great communication over emails and website. read more

We tried a few gymnastics places and decided not to come to this one. The coach seemed friendly to the kids but the things they do in there are not too much compare to other place we tried, and also, the coach was using cell phone from time to time during the time she was teaching in the class, I feel the coach should always pay attention on the kids, which would make me feel more safe. And the coach didn't come out to talk about what she thinks of how they did from the first trial class and let us ask some questions we wanted to, but other places did. They don't have Wi-fi there for the people who wait for their kids in there, and other places we tried had Wi-fi. read more

I've been taking my daughter here for about 8 months, and she absolutely LOVES it. The staff is top notch, and the owners are very sweet and professional. In their defense, I feel compelled to dispel some of the inaccuracies (IMO) from some of the other reviews, so here goes: Not once have I ever seen anything being done unsafely at this gym. Not ever. Maybe it's happened, or maybe not. Or maybe it's only a matter of perspective, because I personally appreciate that the staff trusts each child to execute things independently based on their own ability. Yes, the coaches don't hover, but I see that as a good thing. That is how young gymnasts learn once they've been taught basic gymnastic skills. The entire gym area itself is a safe space, so I'm not worried when they try something new. I must also point out that I do see the coaches cater to the individual needs of each child. So yes, that means they might spend more time with one child in one area if they need some extra help. How is that a bad thing? P.S. I believe the colorful pictures were taken in the front room. Those mats most definitely do exist. read more

We were really taken aback with how little individual attention and spotting was offered to young children learning techniques for the first time. My son was in the tumbling class (advanced out of their beginner class) and they would tell him to do things he had never tried before and send him down the line in attempts without any coaching or spotting. Frankly, this place is just dangerous. It seems to be focused on the more advanced and professional gymnasts and just offering a space to move for young children. My young children actually wanted to LEARN gymnastics. And the cost of these classes is too steep to not take teaching seriously. Fun is one thing. Dangerously lacking attentiveness and coaching is another. P.S. The gym from my perspective looks NOTHING like the fun colorful pictures they depict making it look like a kids' wonderland. I have no doubt that they own all of those colorful mats, but I've never seen all these stations set up when I've been there. read more

Ugh! Looking for a new gymnastics studio for my daughter is no fun!! But there are studios that WANT my business and there are those who obviously do NOT want my business. It's a big "TELL" when I contact a place, using their preferred format (e-mail) and after 2 weeks, there is no response. It's another big "TELL" when you call the business on Tuesday, February 7th and the voice recording says. "It's Friday, December 10th, please e-mail to schedule a make up class." Ummmmm. I'd just like to speak to someone about seeing the place! And I feel for those who need to schedule a make up class as they probably won't get back to you. So...in my search to find a great place for my child to continue her gymnastics practice, this place just made my list one studio shorter. Thanks! read more

Clean and colorful facility with plenty for toddlers, kids, and adults to do. There are classes for all ages and the management is quite nice. :o) If you are serious about competitions, this gym will help you pursue those medals! My two year old LOVES the foam pit. He likes being tossed in there, builds little towers with the foam cubes, and cheers whenever someone else jumps in and disappears. Fun for the whole family! read more

This place looks great if you have a son or daughter that is into gymnastics. Parking is very limited at this facility so you would have to find street parking. Also, it is very hot inside as the high ceilings make it quite warm. They should probably do something about that. The instructors seem to be very nice to the children. The parents are off to the side watching their children. They must love it because the children are doing something else so it gives them a break. The prices seem very reasonable for what it is. It is good exercise for your little one and nowadays, children should get into good habits of exercising on a regular basis instead of stuck watching TV all the time. read more

So apparently this place doesn't want new customers? Came here to inquire about private training after the listed open time. The doors were locked but I could see an employee saw me through the window? So i had to result in looking through the glass doors to check out the facility. Looked amazing! Nice great open space. Unfortunately I most likely will not be coming back to inquire due to the fact that their employee sat there and watched me try the doors, look through the windows, take my phone out and save the number listed on the front glass doors. Obviously I was interested. Although I want to rate them 3 stars I feel 1 is more appropriate. read more

my girlfriend was looking for activities for her daughter and thought that she might enjoy gymnastics since she is an active toddler. we brought her here to learn more information and what we got was not only all if our questions answered, our little girl got a free 1 hour lesson! the facility is top notch. it's clean with all of the necessary equipment. there's a waiting room and a small food area complete with a fridge and sink. as for the actual gymnastics, they cater everyone from the babies to toddlers, to the complete beginners, all the way up to competition level. the instructors are really good. they not only are patient with the students, but they also teach discipline and life lessons. the only negative thing that I should mention is the tuition fees. some may be surprised when they walk in and see them. but bear in mind, this is in Arcadia. but overall, I give this place a 4/5. read more

We haven't worked with West Coast Elite Gymnastics but we sent an email inquiring about them regarding our daughter. We asked about prices and hours and were immediately sent a response saying that if the first question we ask is about prices and hours their response is "No thank you." Sorry, but we are not rich, and there are parents of children who are very talented who are not rich, so money is an important consideration. Perhaps all their clients are filthy rich and for whom prices are no object but to respond like that to a simple inquiry is incredibly arrogant. Perhaps they should change their name to West Coast Elitist Gymnastics. read more

My daughter is taking gymnastics here and loves it. She has improved so much in the last four months. She started knowing absolutely nothing, to advancing three levels. She is athletic, and learns quickly, and the instructors there know how to train these young athletes. Their competition team is really good. They give my daughter something to look forward to. read more

Clean and roomy gymnastics studio. I love to watch little bitty girls doing some crazy advanced gymnastics moves. My child just starts gymnastics training here, and she loves it very much. Wish they have classes in the morning during the summer, but they don't :( read more

My daughter has been coming here for about two years. She loves it! She has learned how to do so many gymnastic moves. The instructors are professional and the place is very clean. We have been coming here for about 6 months and the coaches don't give the equal amount of attention to each student that is my opinion they do have their favorites. Second waiting room is full of unsupervised kids who's parents just drop them off. read more

A friend of ours had her daughter's birthday party here and we all had a blast (including the adults)! The best part was the pool of spongy cubes (not sure what it's called) because it allowed anyone to do "dare devil" dives into a bunch of big sponges and you won't get hurt but you might lose your socks trying to get out of it. Anyone that's tried it knows what I'm talking about. After the party, all the kids at the party got a certificate to try 2 weeks worth of free lessons. I wanted my daughter to take advantage of it so we walked in to see if there were any strings attached. We met with an Asian man whom was the owner. He was very nice, despite what the other reviewers said, and talked to me about the classes, benefits of gymnastics and history of the place. He was delightfully friendly to me and I wasn't even a paying customer. In fact, he offered me to bring my son to come and try out the mommy and me classes on Monday mornings. He never pressured me to join any classes and just wanted to give me the opportunity to check it out. My daughter whom is normally very shy and refuses to try anything loves the classes and wants to keep going. read more
