Chicken print Slogger rain-boots for $39.99 + tax.
    Trista H.

My rating isn't necessarily for the feed store itself but rather for the rain-boots I purchased. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. I do not have large animals that require anything found within this store but it looked like a good selection was offered. I was in the market for a pair of Slogger rain-boots and was thrilled to find that this Co-Op stocked them. Sloggers are made in the USA and are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Thank you Monroe Co-Op for stocking my fun Chicken Print Slogger rain-boots!

We came out because we needed to regime our Rooster of 2 years. Monroe Co-op has a rooster drop off and the woman who assisted my wife in handing over Roger was very kind, especially when she told my wife what a handsome rooster he was. Made this transition better. The store is also great, we wound up leaving with honey, chicken supplies and a dog toy.

This store had everything I needed for a wounded chicken. What I appreciated was their advice. I was dreading having to buy a whole bunch of recommendations items (from a chicken group), but they suggested just one item for now. So I'm a happy camper and as it turns out they were right! What they could improve is to let their employees know there's a Yelp 15% off "chicken supplies". They had no clue about this deal, do they needed do call their owner. In addition, there wasn't a clear definition of which products are included in this category. I would return for their extensive product availability.

Do they fill propane tanks? The little ones for grills?

You cannot refill the little green quart-side bottles commonly used for camping (it's illegal I believe), but they do fill refillable propane tanks at a good price!

It's November, and everything is dormant, but he was kind enough to show us photos from his mobile phone and explain the growth habits of each plant as it grows. We ended up buying a few things, including a Japanese maple (the coveted "floating cloud" / Ukigumo variety!). The prices were extremely reasonable--very competitive with other nurseries in the area. I even found some great deals on time-tested perennials for only $5! (They need to be planted over, but a 1-gal perennial for $5 is a screaming deal.) It was a relaxed, zero-sales-pressure morning with people who obviously know and enjoy plants. With free local delivery on large ($500+) orders, we expect to be back again in the Spring! (For what it's worth, I am extremely conservative about my exposure to people and COVID, and I felt safe the entire time I was at Woods Creek. It was a nice, rare field trip outside the house.) I would highly recommend a drive to Monroe to escape the pretentious, overpriced, crowded, tchotchke-saturated "plant nurseries" in Bellevue, Shoreline, and Seattle. There's no coffee stand, only hundreds (thousands?) of plants and a few humans who love them.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Avoid this business…read more 1. Delivery Issues & Poor Communication: I contractually paid Nursery Trees a total of $2,474.30 for 5 arborvitae trees and professional installation, expecting premium quality. Instead, my experience was a disaster. I visited the nursery to hand-select my trees and confirmed details via email. On delivery day, the crew brought trees that were only 7.5 to 8 feet tall--far shorter than agreed upon. The foreman admitted he was never told which trees to pick and that nothing was marked. This initial trip and all prior communications were a complete waste of time. 2. Negligent Planting Practices: Weeks later, the second delivery arrived with the correct height. However, during excavation, I warned the foreman (Manuel) that the holes were too shallow. He ignored my feedback and planted all 5 trees with their root balls sticking 6 to 8 inches above the ground. When I showed him my existing, properly flush arborvitaes, he claimed my healthy, established trees were the ones planted incorrectly. 3. Property Damage & Incompetence: In Fall 2025, my sprinkler winterization technician discovered a broken irrigation line shooting water between two of the new trees--direct damage from this company's excavation. I had to personally coordinate and pay for my irrigation company to fix the line while forcing this nursery to return, dig up the trees, and lower them properly. During the replanting, the foreman (Manuel) showed zero professional knowledge. He repeatedly asked me basic questions on how to do his job, including how deep to plant them, which side should face front, and if it was "okay" to bump a tree directly against an adjacent root ball. 4. Failed Final Result: Within 24 hours of their "fix," two of the middle trees began leaning heavily and grew crooked. I notified the management (Zach), but I ultimately refused to let them back on my property. I had to hire an independent, competent local business to fix their mistakes. This company charges premium prices but utilizes untrained labor with zero professional standards. Save your time, money, and yard by going elsewhere.

This store has a challenging position to deal with. Monroe is an odd blend of country and suburb, with a faint dash of urban here and there. This store manages to provide a good balance for those audiences without taking too much financial advantage of the community. The store is clean and well-maintained. It's relatively modern, having undergone a remodel several years ago. It added a Murray's Cheese counter, Kroger (Fred Meyer's parent company)'s cheesemonger counter with staff to help, and a selection of higher-end cheeses. This has done very well in this store and is slated for expansion. I'm all for it. The produce here is usually good to excellent. The meat is of excellent quality. Seafood is just okay and could use some improvement. Over all, Monroe is lucky to have a nice grocery store like this. It beats Safeway on selection and is about the same on pricing. It beats Walmart on both selection (though Walmart is starting to add interesting things here and there) and on produce quality (by a mile). Grocery Outlet is just that. Ignore the negative reviews (except maybe those from 2020). They make me shake my head at small-town pettiness taken to extremes. You got a bagger in training who messed up your bagging one time? Couldn't get all the fried hot food you wanted at the nanosecond you wanted it? Couldn't find a charged electric cart fast enough for your liking, even though the store sent someone to bring one to you? And for these kinds of things, you give a 1-star review and complain about pretty much one perceived offense? That's not cool. This is a good store that continues to try to provide the community with what it wants at a reasonable price.
