Manny and the crew are great for coming up with innovative wraps. Had the Audi R8 wrapped by West Coast Signz recently. They have very talented people working there. The shop is loaded with custom machines on which they can create very lavish designs. I wanted the side panels (blades) wrapped to match the paint which is Daytona Gray Pearl. They came up with the most awesome design for the side blades. The side panels were removed and they took a picture of what it looks like under the panels on both sides. They were then able to recreate the look in a wrap and scaled the picture to original size. Now, with the side panels on, it seems there is a 3D image of what's underneath the side panels. I put a post on facebook asking my cyberfriends if they knew of a good place to get a sign made up for my small business. 3 separate people recommended west coast signz,,, so I called. I spoke with a guy who told me that they could have someone come take a look at the front of my store and get me a quote. I told them that my new location needed a sign up ASAP. They took my info and said they would have someone call me back. that was two weeks ago. I was never contacted. Yesterday I called and spoke with the same guy. He said he remembered me, (he still had my contact info) but that they had been super busy and he had not had a chance to call me. I said thats fine, would he be able to send someone out for that quote asap. I desperately needed a sign,. So.. I STILL get no call. Today I call and the same guy answers. He again told me that they have been really busy and thats why they havent called. I basically said "Are you interested in my business? If your too busy you need to let me know and stop telling me your going to call me back." I said "Im a really busy guy, and Im not trying to be a dick, but I need a yes or no, can you give me a quote".. I Was NOT rude, I was not condescending or sarcastic, I was just matter of fact. His response was pretty ridiculous. he said " you you have two options, you can get the quote when I get around to it, or you can go somewhere else. and you ARE being a dick"... Then he hung up on me. I wont lie, Im still kind of in shock,, All I wanted was to buy a sign.. Ive never had a business treat me so shitty for NO GOOD REASON?? Why would you behave like that? anyhow, it bothered me enough to drive me to write this review. I also fill out the contact form they have on the website but it seems nobody checks that. I gave it another try and called again. I have used West Coast Signz for multiple uses. Every time they have been produced good clean work. But this particular time the file was off and so was the color. Not on their end but on my end, having already printed the wrong file. They understood that it a complicated process. So they said they rather work it out and help me out rather than saying "oh well, you are on your own". They printed out new ones! Will, the installer is a student and only installs when available (college student) and apparently that is not very often. We need 4 letters straight lined and brought in closer and 2 weeks is the wait time...so far He does not come to the phone nor answer his messages. We are less than 1 mile away! They are paid in full and I am sure that is why the CUSTOMER is not a priority. I do not recommend W. Coast Designz due to the fact that they have the worst customer service. Will Smith and Eric Ashby are genius! I took my MINI to them and wanted to transform it from a basic British Racing Green to something with a lot more personality. They came through with amazing results. My MINI is now truly one of a kind. At first, when I told them that I wanted it to be pink leopard print they politely said "whoa...that sounds, um, neat?" but when they were done with the graphic mark up and then once applied the full car wrap even Will cracked big smile. West Coast Signz was 5 star from start to end. I wanted to get my company vehicle wrapped, so I did a search on Yelp and found a company that only had 1 review, but it was 5 star. That was the beginning of a 6 month nightmare and hands-down the most frustrating and unpleasant business experience in my adult life. That company is now out of business after taking my money and leaving me with an unfinished wrap that was blistering and peeling off after a only few months. The experience left me a bit skeptical of the whole business. I was told about West Coast Signz from a business acquaintance because they didn't come up in a Yelp search for Vehicle Wrap. As soon as I stepped foot in the door, I was met by Will Smith and I knew that this was a professional company. He showed me some of their work on some vans in the parking lot then introduced me to Vito Tenorio, the graphic designer and we started working on my wrap. Vito was very patient with me in coming up with the design for my car, I think we had at least 7 revisions. Once the design was finished, we made an appointment to apply the wrap. It only took the 2 days to complete the full car wrap and the quality of the work was beyond my expectations. So detailed and clean! I finally have a company car I feel proud to drive.
