I did a hundred order of jackets for a company I worked for. Authentic Imprints does a quality job for embroidery and name imprint on jackets. The prices vary, but are little more on the expensive side, especially if your ordering multiple custom embroidery jackets like I did. Depending on which jacket you purchase and how much embroidery/name prints you want on each jacket. The prices get cheaper if your amount of order is larger. I believe its 36 minimum jacket orders and slightly more cheaper if you order 150+ orders and so on. They have huge selection of jackets, sweater shirts, shirts you can choose from, be sure to take a sample or two to get a feel for it or if you want to show the employers the size. The jackets themselves tend to be slimmer and smaller, even for the labeled size, and will shrink after wash, depending on which you purchase The one issue I ran into was that there were multiple errors on the name embroidery imprints on some of my jackets orders. Unforuntately almost 10% of my orders had to be corrected multiple times, ex. letters were missing, names misspelled, or entire words for position titles missing, of which wasted a lot hours of my time trying to figure which ones were wrong. Granted its understandable that we're all prone to human errors when order multiple jackets, especially hundred orders, but really I had to send several jackets back about 3 times as they made the same mistakes on the same jackets in a row before everything was corrected. And of all of jackets they could've messed up on....most of them happened to be my managers/bosses. Fortunately, Jesus and some of staff practiced good customer service, they compensated a little by correcting the error embroidery jackets free of charge, and even delivered/picked up the jacket orders free of charge from my company. It's just that it unnecessarily took so much of my time inspecting every jackets 3 times in a row for their errors and sending them back and forth 3 times, not to mention my own embarrassment to explain to my managers why their custom embroider jackets would take longer. I think it would've been reasonable to receive additional compensation for the time loss. Thus why I brought it down to 3 stars. Overall they do quality work, just need to be on top of name imprint accuracy, double check and not misspell or leave out letters/words. read more

So i came here because Yelp suggested it since its close to where i live and because i was hoping for a better experience but i commute to the city for work and because of that i mentioned to Andrew i needed to handle everything electronically since at work I'm not allowed to use my personal email address for privacy reasons...I asked for specific quotes and he basically refused to give me clear estimates and said "Yelp wasn't the place to communicate about an order." Just moved from the Los Angeles area and looking for a new local printer here in San Jose. I work out across the street from this place and have been looking forward to popping in and getting some quotes on apparel printing, banners and possibly wrapping my sprinter van, as I not only have my own apparel line but I also do creative for local mom and pop shops from LA to SF and I need a more local place for my Bay Area clients. I finally found some time to pop in the other day and to my surprise was not only not greeted for the entire length of my visit (I gave them ample time as I looked through their in house merch on the sales floor) but the front sales person seemed more interested in talking with his buddy that was there the whole time. Now it may have been another long term friendly client but I've been in the business long enough to know when when someone is just standing around BSing and when they are getting work done or talking about a project. Miguel said that his prices were lower, so I said I would contact him at a later date for more. I got my quote and I was AMAZED! The prices were significantly lower than CustomInk. I opened my own business 3 years ago and we have used 5 different screen printers to date for our branded t shirts, tanks and hoodies. We've only ever used Tri Blend fabrics for our shop. I like the way they wear, feel and fit. Apparently the down side of 50/25/25 blends is that you can only use plastisol for print which gives the logo and print itself a thick crunchy painted on look and cracks over time. I was told by all the past printers we used this was all that was available to print and that's just what you're stuck with. I wouldn't give up. I knew and read online water base was a possibility which would give a more blended natural print on the Tri Blends. I happened to tell a friend who owns a small clothing company about my disappointment with all the other print shops and he told me to go see Andrew at Authentic Imprints, he can help. With my fingers crossed I walked into his shop and he was the first to greet us. Long story short. I'm finally after 3000 shirts getting exactly what I was looking for in a screen printer. Andrew eased my mind and said the water based is totally possible, it just takes more time and effort but I'll get it done exactly how you want it. This is the only place I'm bringing all of my branded product to from now on. They do amazing embroidery on hats too which I'll also bring to Authentic Imprints.
