I was not impressed. They were busy when I got in so I tried to understand. A bit of a wait but nothing crazy, grabbed a panini and an iced coffee. Looks like I was jipped one of my eggs but could have been due to the way it was rung up. Not much of anything else a slice or two of turkey, 3 pieces of red pepper. Girl at the counter was very nice but super overwhelmed. Prices were a little high...$19 for a sammich and a coffee. Ambiance was weird, not a super warm inviting or friendly atmosphere. I don't think I'll go back.

Egg bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese, red onion and roasted red peppers

Despite being very busy the line moves quick. Many bagel options left for almost noon on a Sunday. My bagel was okay, I asked for an egg everything and received a plain egg. The bacon scallion cream cheese did not cut it for me, didn't have enough of those two flavor profiles in it. But overall, I enjoyed it. As busy as it was they still have tables to sit at that felt comfortable and roomy which is a plus. I would definitely come back to try one of their killer sounding paninis.

Was working close by decided to swing in and grab a bite to eat before I starve to death and wither away to nothing. The bagels were good. The cream cheese was excellent. Long line, lots of people probably because the food is good, but moved along fairly quickly.

They are a weekly staple of my work week.If you fancy a bagel with a schmear, then get here. The bagels are freshly made daily, the fixings are fresh and delicious, and they CARE about the heat they do. The staff is always helpful and professional. The vibes are always good. Their coffee is delicious and not watery guck(I said what I said). My favorite is the Lox Supreme. I get a toasted plain bagel or a wagel if I'm feeling funky with the pimento olive cream cheese, extra capers, their delicious lox tomato and onion. I also loooove their paninis, my personal fave being the Manhattanite, which is Roast Beef Cheddar and Horseradish panini. And the sandwiches hold up til lunchtime. I promise. 30 seconds in the microwave and boom ready to go. Also I did live in NYC for 7 years and have been a customer of Murray's and a few other city bagel shops so respect my suthority when it comes to judgement on a superb bagel!! Get in here. For those of you that cannot pick up don't worr

WHEN: Monday @ 11am There was a line at the register area, thought it was the order line but it was not. People were waiting on their food. The order line is at where the bagels are displayed. The staff will come up to you to take your order there. Then you go to the register area to pay for your order. It was a quick and efficient process. It took roughly 5-10min in and out the door. All bagels are made fresh and toasted all day. I like their very soft bagels compared to other bagel shops. WHAT I ORDERED Breakfast plain bagel w egg and sausage Bagel with cream cheese Both bagels were toasty warm to eat. Very delicious and filling for breakfast. Low prices as well. I highly recommend it.

Stopped by for coffee and a quick breakfast sandwich on our way out of town. Parking lot was nearly full but it's shared w a smoothie place and other businesses. That being said, almost everyone was at UG and for good reason. The line was out the door when we got inside. I was discouraged and ready to angrily wait, but I was wrong! The line moved quickly and a staff were friendly for a busy morning. I had the summer blend hot and wife had an iced latte. The hot coffee was tasty. Low acidity, smooth and balanced. Only complaint was that it could have been just a click hotter for me. I don't necessarily want to burn my esophagus, but this was only lukewarm. The iced latte was delicious. We each had an egg sandwich on a bagel and they were terrific. Soft and chewy bagel with plenty of flavor. We took a couple cookies home from the case and Oh Em Geeeeee! Phenomenal! Now I regret not getting the bag of yesterday's bagels at the door. Even "day old" I bet these things are great!

Uncommon Grounds nails it on both counts and is a great spot to get a little work done to boot. Stopped by this location when I was in the area for some coffee and breakfast. I'm usually in search of sugar free options as well as milk alternatives. Uncommon Grounds had a couple sugar free options (yay! caramel and vanilla) and a few different milk alternatives. I got a caramel latte made with almond milk and it was dreamy. For my breakfast, I got the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. It came with egg, spinach, avocado, tomato, and a bit of pesto. Delicious! The only tiny thing for me was the tomato made the sandwich kinda slippery and difficult to eat so the next time I ordered it (which was literally the next day), I got it with double the spinach and no tomato. The service was really lovely and the prices are reasonable. They're a popular spot and were pretty busy when I was in and even with that everyone was so kind and helpful. Get to it!

My family felt a bagel would make a great mid-morning breakfast/early lunch option, so we gave Hudson Bagels a try. Each of us was quite pleased with our experience! The fella that greeted us upon entering was nice and helpful in guiding our selections. The bagels were fresh and as good as any NYC bagel I have ever eaten. My family and I couldn't have been happier with our visit. The only downside was the limited amount of indoor seating available, but that's not a complaint--rather, just something to know if you're planning of stopping in for a bagel. If the weather is cold, the outdoor seating isn't likely an option. I highly recommend Hudson Bagels! If I ever make it back to Hudson, I'll visit this shop again! :-)

One thing I noticed about these bagels is that there's a lot of seasoning on them. All the bagels in the display seemed heavily seasoned--whether it was everything, garlic, onion, or whatever, they were covered in it. The bagel itself wasn't bad. I've had worse down in the city, so I was pleasantly surprised. Not as much chew as I'd like, but still tasty.

Uncommon Grounds had all the makings of a fine sit n' sip: high ceilings, superfluous interior arches, mildly darkened aesthetic, tin ceiling tiles, and an abundance of screamin' local artistry dressing up the joint. Brothers and sisters... I was stoked about the possibility of churning out some real Aldi-grade literature at one of the chunky timber perches. I was ready for a slammin cup of joe and a sick-ish vibe. Alas, all I got from behind the counter was a jersey stuffed with caustic disdain and affected arrogance. It was impressive in that the tone, delivery, volume and words were all brilliantly matched in conveying unmistakable I-wish-you'd-get-the-flip-outta-my-space-clappery. I know the exact phrasing and such would go a long way here, but the whole dang affected setup I received from the other side of the counter would be hella exhausting to recount. And not worth my time. To be clear, my time really ain't worth all that much. Now I could go on to tell you about the rest of the experience, the quality of the bagels and the consistency of the schmear, and the tones you'll find playing throughout the house-roasted brews. But as a journeyman writer in the café world, I'm not gonna waste any more descriptors on the brat-infused tea steeping at the front of house. Why? Simply because cafés are more than the drink and grub. Cafés are as solid an offering of what culture Earth has to offer across its varied continents, countries, and street corners. They are something to engage with and experience directly. Like riding a scooter across Vietnam. Like a Moroccan food market. Like wiping volcanic ash off your hiking boots after a day's hike in Cinder Cone. If the human engagement of the place is reprehensible, then in IMHO the treats and steeps don't matter. Disappointments happen. That's for sure. But I'm only gonna spend two more sentences telling you what you probably already gathered about this place. It's slippin' baby. It's slippin'.
