    #8. Chicken Caesar Sandwich

Cute cafe with plenty of seating. Convenient location as well, off Columbia St. The menu is pretty expansive and their bagel sandwiches are scrumptious. Really enjoyed the grilled ceasar on an everything bagel. The tuna pasta salad is also very yummy for anyone who like pasta salad and tuna. Employees are friendly and helpful when navigating the menu. The only thing I will note that I was a bit taken aback by is that the iced coffee is self serve. Could definitely cost less for the fact that customers do it themselves.

Finally got to try this place after hearing so many great things! I visited on a Sunday morning and unfortunately they were closing early that day so they were out of a lot of bagel flavors. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, a sausage egg and cheese on a jalepeno cheddar bagel and a western omelet wrap. Everything came out fairly quickly and the service was very friendly. There are plenty of tables to sit at, however, I opted to take mine to go. Overall, everything was great. I do think the honey walnut cream cheese should be a little sweeter, but I definitely plan on going back to try more things!

My review is solely based on bagels. I can't speak to anything else. I honestly didn't like the bagel at all. It looked way better than it tasted. I would have given two stars but the prices were ok. Also they don't offer a vegan cream cheese, which in 2025 is absurd. I'm a bagel connoisseur and my favorite is NY style which this is not. It tasted like sourdough bread with bagel seasoning. There was no crunch, and it was too dense for my liking. I'll have to try something else next time. The staff is super sweet and the dining area is cute. Also fast service.

We stopped by for breakfast and were happy with the convenient location. The bagels were fresh, soft on the inside, and really hit the spot. We appreciated the bagel chips, though they weren't really necessary alongside our bagels and I guess made the price higher. The tuna salad, unfortunately, was a bit bland and overly wet, but the pickle on the side was a nice touch and always appreciate a good pickle with my tuna salad. The tomato slices were cut too thick, which made the sandwich fall apart when biting into it, and the avocado portion was smaller than expected. On the bright side, the veggies tasted fresh and the service was quick and friendly, even during a busy time. I also tried an eclair, which had a generous amount of filling. The dough was a little heavy, but overall it was still enjoyable. I appreciate that they had plenty of chairs and tables to sit down and eat.

A charming bakery shop that includes white tablecloths, and a friendly atmosphere. Homemade bakery goods that has everything from cookies to some of the best crumb cake I've ever had in my life! Deli sandwiches, salads, breakfast sandwiches served piping hot an amazing selection of bagels and creative toppings that include roasted garlic cream cheese spreads Great prices for sitdown service (order at the counter) and brought to your table in a heartbeat. Clearly, a popular spot in town for locals. Cannot say enough about the quality of the food and the excellence of the staff. You have to come here! Phone orders, happily accepted for pick up.

    Turkey BLT Sandwich

The location is convenient and the service was great. However, I wasn't too impressed with my turkey BLT on a sesame bagel. The bagel itself was good, but the sandwich had a bit too much turkey and not enough bacon or mayo to balance it out. It also felt a little pricey at $35 for two turkey BLTs, a soda, and an iced coffee. The bagel chips on the side were a nice surprise, but not really necessary.

Another local bagel shop. Stopped here for a quick check. Got a cinnamon sugar with cream cheese. The bagel was super hard and crunchy. I was looking for more of a chewy softer texture. I will be back for another try soon. Picked up couple baked goodies to enjoy later.

I've been to Latham Bagels once, and while I found the bagels to be good, they felt a bit average overall--nothing really stood out to me. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly! I also enjoyed the bagel chips and appreciated the variety of options on the menu. I'm not sure if I'd go back again.

I don't know if it's a placebo effect but everything I've ever purchased at FFF has been phenomenal. Knowing the produce is grown on the premises makes it taste better? It could sway my opinion to a more positive direction but there is no arguing with the sweetness of freshly picked sugar snap peas. I started snacking on them on the drive home and could barely stop myself. The clean earthiness of small beets, small enough to leave the skins on and roast them. Tastes like clean dirt. Love that. There was also a varietal of bok choy. Salt, olive oil, oven for a few minutes. That...just that...was dinner. It's a weird thing to taste how far away I've come from locally grown food; to have my tastes muted by a commercially grown industry. FFF food is like coming home to where we belong.

I knew nothing about this place when my wife suggested for a surprise lunch on a Saturday…read moreafternoon, and we had to rush over as they have limited hours. It was cold and raining outside and I was happy to get out of it and relax. Sadly, I quickly found out her surprise involved eating outside under a tent in the cold and rain on a November day. Sigh. At least they had blankets on the benches. We ordered in the far tent and the menu board was both helpful (it listed everything in each entree, including onions) and annoying (it indicated no substitutions were allowed, including onions). Not to be deterred, I picked the pepperoni pizza with hot honey, basil and Calabrian chili peppers. My wife ordered the Margherita pizza. Both were ready in about 15 minutes, but upon delivery to our table it became clear that a couple of things were off. First, my wife's pizza was cold and mine was pipping hot. Second, mine had so much basil- which in places was left in 2-3 leaf bunches- that perhaps they just cleaned out the pantry for the last order of the day. The crust in spots were burned, but I could live with that. However, it was so floppy that it couldn't be picked up under any condition. Everything but the outer inch of crust was like a thin wet tortilla. And their plastic cutlery wasn't up to the challenge, ripping the pizza toppings off and turning my pizza into a casserole. That being said, the flavors were wonderful on my pizza. The hot honey made for a really tasty flavor balance, and the copious amounts of curling pepperoni were a nice change of pace from the cheap stuff. The peppers were good too, and I wish I could source some locally. My wife's pizza was okay, though the whole mozzarella clumps reminded of dollops of Ricotta and they were very cold as if they were added after baking. Odd. I don't mind paying for expensive pizza if it is good. I am also not a pizza snob and will gladly eat subpar pizza. But, to overpay ($26 for mine alone) for pizza that is just a mess in a cardboard box rubs me the wrong way. The same goes for buying ($24) a cold pizza. The dessert we ordered was a Paris-Brest, and being a choux fan I absolutely loved it. Delicious with hints of coffee, almonds, nuts, and some flavorings I couldn't place, I would quickly come back here just for that. As for their pizza, I just don't know. On a nice pleasant day it would be fun, but too many mistakes on our pizzas makes me leery of ordering them again for those prices.

I had some time to spare recently after dropping my dog off at a veterinary clinic in Troy. I ordered the Turkish Breakfast Plate which turned out to be the most expensive breakfast on the menu. It came with a lot of food. It included eggs, Simit ( a Turkish sesame bagel), grapes, toast, honey, olives and cream cheese. I also ordered a Turkish coffee which is a little stronger than what I'm use to. It hit the spot. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant small but clean and cute. It looks as though the owners might have added a table. There are three or four tables in all. There's a new partition in the kitchen providing a little more distance between customers and those working on food prep. Gone are the beautiful ornate gold detailed Turkish dinner plates and teacups. I found them charming though not practical. I sort of miss them but they looked like heirloom items which wouldn't be appropriate for day-to-day use. They've been replaced by simple white dish-ware. Much more cost effective. FYI. There are no restrooms for customer use. That issue never came up for me but an older couple came in looking for a restroom and the owner advised them to go to the fast food restaurant down the street. As for the food, it was every bit as good as I expected. Some things don't change. I took the leftovers home and made another meal of it the next day.
