    #8. Chicken Caesar Sandwich

Cute cafe with plenty of seating. Convenient location as well, off Columbia St. The menu is pretty expansive and their bagel sandwiches are scrumptious. Really enjoyed the grilled ceasar on an everything bagel. The tuna pasta salad is also very yummy for anyone who like pasta salad and tuna. Employees are friendly and helpful when navigating the menu. The only thing I will note that I was a bit taken aback by is that the iced coffee is self serve. Could definitely cost less for the fact that customers do it themselves.

Finally got to try this place after hearing so many great things! I visited on a Sunday morning and unfortunately they were closing early that day so they were out of a lot of bagel flavors. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, a sausage egg and cheese on a jalepeno cheddar bagel and a western omelet wrap. Everything came out fairly quickly and the service was very friendly. There are plenty of tables to sit at, however, I opted to take mine to go. Overall, everything was great. I do think the honey walnut cream cheese should be a little sweeter, but I definitely plan on going back to try more things!

My review is solely based on bagels. I can't speak to anything else. I honestly didn't like the bagel at all. It looked way better than it tasted. I would have given two stars but the prices were ok. Also they don't offer a vegan cream cheese, which in 2025 is absurd. I'm a bagel connoisseur and my favorite is NY style which this is not. It tasted like sourdough bread with bagel seasoning. There was no crunch, and it was too dense for my liking. I'll have to try something else next time. The staff is super sweet and the dining area is cute. Also fast service.

A charming bakery shop that includes white tablecloths, and a friendly atmosphere. Homemade bakery goods that has everything from cookies to some of the best crumb cake I've ever had in my life! Deli sandwiches, salads, breakfast sandwiches served piping hot an amazing selection of bagels and creative toppings that include roasted garlic cream cheese spreads Great prices for sitdown service (order at the counter) and brought to your table in a heartbeat. Clearly, a popular spot in town for locals. Cannot say enough about the quality of the food and the excellence of the staff. You have to come here! Phone orders, happily accepted for pick up.

We stopped by for breakfast and were happy with the convenient location. The bagels were fresh, soft on the inside, and really hit the spot. We appreciated the bagel chips, though they weren't really necessary alongside our bagels and I guess made the price higher. The tuna salad, unfortunately, was a bit bland and overly wet, but the pickle on the side was a nice touch and always appreciate a good pickle with my tuna salad. The tomato slices were cut too thick, which made the sandwich fall apart when biting into it, and the avocado portion was smaller than expected. On the bright side, the veggies tasted fresh and the service was quick and friendly, even during a busy time. I also tried an eclair, which had a generous amount of filling. The dough was a little heavy, but overall it was still enjoyable. I appreciate that they had plenty of chairs and tables to sit down and eat.

    Turkey BLT Sandwich

The location is convenient and the service was great. However, I wasn't too impressed with my turkey BLT on a sesame bagel. The bagel itself was good, but the sandwich had a bit too much turkey and not enough bacon or mayo to balance it out. It also felt a little pricey at $35 for two turkey BLTs, a soda, and an iced coffee. The bagel chips on the side were a nice surprise, but not really necessary.

Another local bagel shop. Stopped here for a quick check. Got a cinnamon sugar with cream cheese. The bagel was super hard and crunchy. I was looking for more of a chewy softer texture. I will be back for another try soon. Picked up couple baked goodies to enjoy later.

I've been to Latham Bagels once, and while I found the bagels to be good, they felt a bit average overall--nothing really stood out to me. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly! I also enjoyed the bagel chips and appreciated the variety of options on the menu. I'm not sure if I'd go back again.

It was good to know the turkey is roasted "in house." I took half home. In my opinion, the prices are not only fair but on the low side for the quality of food served. My sandwich was only $9.99 with chips and a pickle spear. Side salads are inexpensive and delicious I hear. The two sided laminated menu was easy to navigate. Specials of the day are posted at the entrance. Service was prompt and friendly. The charming cafe is located at the end of a strip of businesses off Rt. 7 near the Galleria 7 Food Court. There are many tables and a full bar in a well lit inside seating area. In addition, there is a great patio with nice planters on one side. Lots of parking. Easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. Looking forward to returning for a Panini, or soup, or salad, or breakfast sandwich. I will check out the catering menu to use in future. The Reuben was a little too unidimensional for my taste, because the cauliflower is fermented I think there isn't enough contrast with the sauerkraut which is really the only other ingredient. the flavor was great but the texture wasn't my favorite. The eggplant itself was amazing! I loved it. But again I think the composition of the sandwich was a little off for my taste, there was a pile of arugula that overpowered the eggplant which was star but a very small portion of the sandwich. The homemade chips were the best I've ever had and YOU SHOULD TRY!!!! Phenomenally crisp and cooked to perfection. Overall, I don't think I'd come back often because there arent a ton of vegan options and I was enthralled by them but if I was in a group with meat eaters and they wanted sandwiches I would happily tag along and get one of these options again.

I hopped on Yelp, saw the great reviews, took 1 minute to browse the menu, and I turned around and walked right in to Mallo's. The space is pink with black and white checkered floor. I was greeted as I walked in and they were patient while I read the menu (again). Everything sounded great but I went with the veggie sandwich but made into a wrap. They brought my food out to me on a little tray with a paper branded with the same cute dog. I loved the wrap! I'm glad I went the wrap route - it was perfect. Mozzarella, arugula, fried eggplant, olives - yummm. It was so delicious and flavorful and a big portion! I took leftovers back to my hotel and had them the next day. I'm so glad I stopped in to this spot and would definitely come back for more of their tasty food.

I have driven by Dnipro many times but finally went in. First, I saw a menu featuring lunch specials. Among them pirogies, stuffed cabbage and borscht. I went for a bowl of borscht and it was delicious. A vegetable filled version, it was tangy and slightly sweet with big chunks of potato. Next I saw candy, lots and lots of it. Plenty of intriguing small filled chocolates with artistic wrappers. I bought lots. I love the surprise of discovering what type of filling they have. They have a deli counter with lots of sausages ,ham and other meats. Plenty of cheese for sale too. They have head cheese. I've never been brave enough to try it but it seems to be a staple at Eastern European delis. I saw pastries but went for a loaf of bread this time. The friendly man at the counter told me that the bread is started in Germany and then finished here. German bread!!! Heck yes!! I'll take it. Germans are certainly known for delicious bread and this is no exception. The loaf I chose was a mix of rye and other flours. It was crusty on the outside and light on the inside with a delicate flavor. It was freshly baked and still warm. Perfect to dip into the borscht. My next treasure was chopped chicken liver. It's one of the foods you either love or hate. I have long loved it since my days as a Platt's deli girl. This is a fantastic version! Sweet and soft. I spread some of this on the bread too, heaven!! The service was attentive and personable. The bread alone is reason to go back but I also look forward to trying other lunch specials. The prices are fair as well. Another win for ethnic places in the Latham area.
