GOT MY SKIN BURNT AND LEFT PERMANENT SCARS!!! DOCTOR DOESN'T REPLY THE MESSAGE OR PHONE CALL AFTER MALPRACTICE!!! There are many reviews in only platforms mentioned that the doctor Mirzabeigi was unprofessional. I'm so regret that I didn't read the review earlier. I went the clinic last November did the hair laser removal. However, I got burned at West End and I suspect doctor didn't follow the right procedure. Only 20 minutes after session I felt super painful so I went back and doctor applied some cream on my leg. When I got home at night it's starting to get blisters. The more than 5 dozens over my leg you can imagine HOW PAINFUL IT IS!!! The pain last almost half month and LEFT THE SCAR AND DISCOLORATION!!!Doctor Mirzabeigi asked me do not to see doctor since it's "unnecessary from his view". He promised that he will make compensation for his malpractice and pretended that they care at first. But they don't care and don't want help me or fix it. They don't want make any compensation. I think I got scammed. My friend knows everything about fillers and beauty treatments warned me not to go for a Groupon filler as she has heard usually they are watered down or altered in some way, because the cost of the syringe itself is already expensive. The offer seemed to good to be true ($360 for a full syringe of Juvederm). I hoped for the best and still went for it. Now I know what a full syringe of lip filler should be like and my results look like almost nothing was done. After a few days when the swelling from the injection went down my lips look: almost the same like they did before. Also I noticed that the Dr only injected in the sides and nothing in the cupid area. I really wanted a fuller pout but ended up just loosing money for nothing. Someone should check if their products are legit... Here is a before and after picture of one syringe of juvederm. Basically no difference whatsoever. Only $360 dollars gone into thin air. I'm very disappointed in this place. The staff is so nice and friendly offering water and snacks post procedure but my Botox lasted only 1 month. I've been getting Botox for years to help my TMJ and I always get 40 units. My Botox will last at least 4 months and I mean AT LEAST and this place... honestly only saw a difference the first month. I make the frown lines again... my TMJ is bothering me.... I got this off a groupon to save $60 and I wish I would've just gone to my normal place and spent that extra 60. Not worth it. They offer a lot of specials on Groupon which draws in a crowd but the service is quite unprofessional. I arrived on time to my appointment only to find 5 other people there waiting and no one at the front desk except for a bunch of open client files with names and addresses and everything. After a few minutes the receptionist showed up and had me fill out some paperwork. After half an hour of waiting I asked her what's going on since so much time has passed and there were still people in front of me (including someone who was about to get a filler ). She asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I told her no since I drove all the way here on my day off. I waited an hour to be seen for a consult. Overall they need to work on their business model. The waiting area has no privacy and I knew what everyone was there for. The doctor yelled out the type of procedure in the hallway to the receptionist which is not professional. The person next to me waited an hour to do a 5 minute follow up and the other lady was there because she had complications from the procedure. Never had a service done before but that's because they had to reschedule me a a night before my appointment. Mind you, I made this appointment almost 2 weeks in advance AND I had to call a day before just to see if they even remembered my appointment because I never got a confirmation. If I never called to confirm, they probably would've forgot about me. Very unprofessional.... I found this place through Groupon and their package deal is fantastic so I had to jump on it. On Jan 2nd, I called and a receptionist answered the phone, she seem very nice && when I tried to schedule she said "sorry I don't have my schedule books with me right now, I will text you the dates/times we have available." Weird...but I agreed and waited all day to never get a text. Next day I called again and she apologized and scheduled me JAN 21st.....I'm just in shock that they must be that great to have an appointment in 2 weeks. What a joke! I called the day before my appointment to confirm and the same receptionist seemed confused and lost about me calling. She even spelled my name wrong and said "yeah I'll let you know if our laser doctor is gonna be in tomorrow" ....... at this point I already knew I was not getting lasered. I bought a Groupon for 2 syringes of filler at $400.00 each. The Dr decided to cash out both my coupons even though I only used 1 @400 leaving me a balance of an additional 400 syringe of filler. I bought another 200 for under my eyes as he recommended but he did not do the procedure correctly. For 8 months I tried to get it dissolved. He canceled and rescheduled appts at the last minute repeatedly. Never fixed my face which is puffy and uneven underneath my eyes. I asked for it to be refunded along with the 400 from Groupon that I never used since he cashed them both out and got paid a year ago. He refused. I can't get return phone calls from the receptionist Elizabeth or the Dr himself. Now I'm disputing it with my credit card company and Groupon. This Dr is unprofessional and lacks ethics. I purchased 6 sessions of the velashape for my thighs on Groupon. My third treatment they tell me that it was my last treatment. I told them I purchased 6 treatments and she said well yeah each leg is one treatment. Which I have never heard or seen before from any other place nor did they inform me that it was per leg. So I used the groupon. Arrived at 910am but appt wasn't till 930. They weren't opened till about 920. Dr wasn't in yet. I asked if we could put the numbing cream on while I wait but she assured me I don't need it yet. I was kinda strapped for time so I waited. Let me say worth the wait!! Expertise was unmatched. I've gotten juvederm for my lips for a few years now and when he came in and asked me to the back he was beyond informative and nice and personable. We chatted and he asked what I wanted and gave me suggestions which was welcomed. This was my first time ever being injected and I didn't have bruising all over. I think it's because he's just so skilled, reception was nice and offered coffee and overall just a good experience. I was so nervous and it was for nothing, they know what they are doing. Excellent experience here getting Botox for the first time. The doctor's assistant, Elizabeth, was lovely. I was able to make a next day appointment. The doctor seems to know everything about every treatment. He's a wealth of information. He has an excellent sense of humor too, which I feel is important when seeking treatments because it makes the visits fun. The procedure was quick and painless. Plus, I paid for 20 units but I looked at the syringes after he filled them and it was more like 22-23 units total. I had a very pleasant experience at this office. The receptionist Elizabeth is very welcoming and bubbly. I walked in for my appointment, filled out paper work and was called in 30 minutes later. Not only was the doctor informative and addressed all of my questions and concerns, but he's very personable and friendly. He definitely made me feel comfortable and put my anxieties at ease. I went in for a Kybella treatment. The whole process took no more than 30 minutes and the bulk of it was consulting with the doc. The shots took no more than 6 minutes for two vials. I highly recommend this place! The dr is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain, recommend, and provide treatments. I always feel like I'm in good hands. I've done a series of blue light therapy on my face but if I was seeking other things, I would see him. Old equipment and laser technology, unprofessional staff, ineffective treatments, a waste of money!! I purchased a 6-session laser hair removal from Groupon. I called and set an appointment. I drove an hour to get to their office and they told me that the laser equipment is out for maintenance!!! This is very unprofessional to cancel an appointment when I arrived there. They could have called me a day before! It took two weeks to reschedule and I had to call every week to see if they have the laser back. The treatment was ineffective. I didn't see any hair reduction after the first session (you should see 10-15% hair reduction after each session). For the second treatment, they canceled the treatment three times; and I had to call every few days to find out when they will reschedule my second appointment. The reason for the cancellation was again the laser was out for maintenance!!! Twice in two months!! Which means the equipment is old and not working properly! You can search the internet to see what harms can laser cause on your skin if the equipment malfunctions. It might cause burns and you have to do surgeries to get rid of marks. So, don't trust West End Medical Aesthetics laser equipment! I wasted a lot of time on them and after three weeks that they didn't reschedule my second appointment I asked them to give me my money back. It has been a month and they have not given back my money yet!!! In the meanwhile, I booked an appointment with another clinic in Pasadena. The 1 treatment that I had in the same body area was very effective, the cost was less, the technology that they are using is different and the newest, and the staff are very friendly and professional. So, do not waste your money on West End Medical Aesthetics! There are other great clinics in Pasadena with less cost, new equipment, and professional staff. read more
