A lady at the bar brought cookies and was sharing them with everyone. How often do you see that? We stopped for dinner on our way to Penn's Peak not expecting much. Order the Ribs and Wings combo and a Hot Open Roast Beef Platter. Both were better than average. The roast beef was tender and tasty and the gravy was delicious. Fries were crisp and delicious! The mild wings were crispy and flavorful. Nice waitress too! Passed here for many years and never stopped. Finally did and was soon disappointed in myself for not stopping before. Greeted and was seated in a booth in the warm and cozy dining room. The friendly server came and we soon had our drinks while reading the menu. It was fairly busy but did not wait too long for the food. My granddaughter had the Chicken Ranch Wrap, she loved it. My wife and I had burgers, she a cheeseburger, I chose the Bacon Bleu Burger. Both cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered, both delicious! The fries were awesome! I went here yesterday afternoon with my boyfriend and another couple. I ordered a margarita with salt, when I got my drink most of the salt crystals were at the bottom of the glass (gross, who wants to drink salt?) but that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that there was A FLY IN MY DRINK. completely unacceptable. I sent the drink back and ordered a bottle to be on the safe side. When we got our food, the burger we ordered medium rare came out well done. And the steaks were unimpressive to say the least. It had no flavor and tasted like they were frozen. WHITE WATER RAFTERS STAY AWAY!! The service was awful and very slow. Only two rude women in the entire restaurant between serving, food running and bar tending. It was made obvious that locals are priority over the outer towers (which we probably make up 90% of their business, being that it is across the street from Poconos Whitewater). Food and drinks were beyond over priced too for what you were getting. $8 for a 6oz watered down mixed drink is ridiculous. read more

Popped into this place after our white water rafting trip. Promptly seated and greeted by the smiling server. The menu has lots of options. If you are looking for a fun and relaxed atmosphere with good pub food this is the place for you. Reiley's is known for their beef sandwiches which are amazing but I would try their fried chicken (only served as a special occasionally). Their pizza is great. I usually try to get something off the daily special menu and I am rarely disappointed. My hubby and I are from the Lancaster area and come up to the area almost 2 times a month and need to stop here every time we are in the area. Ok, this place had ups and downs. Went tonight for dinner. It's a couple blocks away. While we never had bad food it was usually just fine. It's obvious they are working hard to please people. Our food tonight was great. Had the potato skins app with bacon and cheese and bacon. Not a great big portion but really tasty. I had the Guinness melt. The marble rye, onions, cheese was great. One of the best burger melts I've had in a long time. My wife got hot roast beef open face. It was very good. This place is definitely back on the list for go to dinner places. Oh,, and the beer was cold! It was also fresh tasting. A lot of (local)places the taps get a funky taste. Suspect cleaning as the reason. Not here, the beer tastes like it should! And was very very cold. If you're going past it's worth stopping. Not overly complex food, it's solid good bar food. read more

This wasn't the greatest. At this cash-only pub, we had to wait a while just to be recognized once we sat ourselves. With only one waitress, it took a while simply for the her to tend to us even though the place had maybe 10 customers. My guest and I both ordered the ribs. While it was a generous portion, the meat was not fall-off-the-bone and was only hot on the outside (only lukewarm inside); they also needed more sauce. The sides were good, as was the salad. We stopped at Reilly's after a 90 minute car ride on a dreary Friday looking for some comfort food. We ordered 3 drinks, 2 appetizers (one of which was a "garlic clam special") & 3 seemingly simple entrees (2 orders of fish & chips & a cheese burger) We waited & waited some more for our drinks. We were about to leave after AN HOUR of waiting for breaded mushrooms & the "garlic clam special" when FINALLY the apps got to the table, (by the way it they were NOTHING to write home about) Finally, we got our entrees... Again, not impressed. In addition to the waiting, NOT ONCE did our waitress check in at our table to ask if we needed any more beverages or to explain that they were diving for the clams to help us understand why things were taking soooooo long.
