So you typically don't see funeral homes reviews mixed in with restaurant raves and dentist…read morecomplaints, but on the off chance this info is useful to someone in the future I wanted to post it. Typically funeral homes are not something you shop around or compare to much, but we found ourselves facing a terminal diagnosis with a few months to prepare. Knowing nothing about funeral home I just kinda stopped in on one. After 3 trips and lots of bad information, bad care, and not returned calls I said this is not how it is supposed to be. I sought out recommendations from others (which I should have done first with this type of service) and Zirbel came highly recommended. I talked to them and instantly knew this is how it is supposed to be. Caring, receptive, quick to answer questions. We were able to plan just want we wanted and they did an incredible job. Karen was extreamly wonderful and we could not have asked for better service. So on the off chance you don't have someone you can call and get the recommendation we got, I wanted to share our good experience in a sad situation.
