They took wonderful care of his arrangements and found an affordable casket for him. He would have appreciated that. Nothing fancy, functional, but still looked presentable. The funeral home was very inviting. The wife of the gentleman running the home was very sweet, offered us refreshments and told us about the dog. It was like visiting extended relatives, we felt welcome and comfortable. It definitely made the situation more comfortable.

Tuesday he came and cleaned (very well I might add) the tree limbs and branches. Also brought the gravel and dumped/spread it. (We were happy they could.) I called them Monday and described the property to Sean and he gave us a quote for a one time mow. I told him that part of our lawn was very over grown (3 feet tall in places). Tuesday, I updated the description on his web site and he adjusted the quote. We spoke Tuesday morning to ensure that our description was clear. We accepted the bid then he explained his crew was going to be in our area so he suggested that we pay by credit card (we do not use Venmo) we did and paid the quoted amount (included tax), tip and credit card processing fee. His crew showed up around 2:00 PM. They asked my neighbor if they could park in his driveway. My neighbor said yes and gave them further input about our lawn. My neighbor said they were polite, friendly and professional. I would use them again if I could not mow the lawn for some reason. The prices seemed reasonable for the service provided.

Alex and his team removed rocks, stumps and shrubs, regraded land and hillside by my house, built a small retaining wall, installed new drainage, and re-seeded the lawn. The price was reasonable, new drainage works great, the yard has a much better slope to it, and the grass came up quicker than I thought! I haven't put any new plantings in yet - we're waiting until next spring for that, but when I need help with it, I'll call on Alex. He is definitely on my contractor short-list. Extremely disappointed in my services from Rycoe. I reached out to them about landscaping and Ryan came out to take a look at what needed to be done so he could give us a quote. I was very specific about what I needed done and it was listed in a breakdown on the invoice perfectly. It took a while for the guys to come out, but I waited patiently anticipating the final product. The end result came out great until weeds started popping up everywhere. My husband kicked the mulch and we both realized landscape paper was never placed under the mulch like it was talked about AND I PAID FOR. I reached out to Ryan in hopes this would get fixed, and he did respond to me stating that he would look into it and get back to me. It has been 8 months with no communication at all. I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but it feels like I got scammed. I had even originally asked if they could just use the landscape paper that I had bought since I already had it and I was told no. I decided their rates were acceptable so I confirmed the appointment. Now, normally, I would set aside at least a whole day to clean up my yard, but these guys showed up and had the whole yard done in about an hour! They do everything by hand (no power-washers) and clean the urns as well.
