This is a staple dry cleaning facility for the area. I bring all of my suits there. I know that they end up taking them to Rochester to have them processed but they are always friendly and quick to clean my clothes. I have used them multiple times for alterations and each one has come out well. I recommend asking for TJ if he is available. He typically does the alterations and he is a genius with the needle. His mom is the one that runs the shop and she is very friendly as well. I would say they are a bit less expensive than taking your clothes to Canandiagua for cleaning. What does it really matter if they are getting cleaned at the same place in Rochester anyways. If you get a chance when you are in there chatting with TJs mom she may offer you some desert or cookies. They are the best. I highly recommend them. All in all very friendly people in a very cozy environment. read more

I had a pair of overalls tailored here (the bib had to be shortened and taken in a bit at the waist), and they did an excellent job--you wouldn't even guess they'd been altered. Cost about twenty bucks and was an easy process (despite walking-in during the chaos of prom season). Definitely will be taking my future alteration needs back here and recommending to others. read more

Stopped in to have a coat zipper replaced. The gentleman quickly adjusted the existing zipper, - no replacement needed, and didn't charge me anything. Appreciated the wonderful service and courteous manner read more

Over this past weekend I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and discovered the day before that my dress was too small. When I called to see if my dress could be tailored that same day, the owner of the shop was extremely accommodating and worked his magic very quickly. If it wasn't for him, it would have been a very disappointing weekend. read more

Animal fur, less but still many on the coat. Pilling not addressed. He handed me a button, said it was "extra". Actually it fell off during cleaning. Apparently pilling and buttons are "repairs", so not considered with dry cleaning. He said pilling would require shaving (equals repair?). I asked about the remaining animal hairs and a few pieces of random threads and human hair. He said they wouldn't come off, and said dry cleaner cleaned the coat twice. He also mentioned he had to drive "all the way to Rochester", as if I was the single customer... He grabbed a lint roller and, surprise, fur started to come off. He insisted he did all he could, and said I didn't need to come back there again...So I took the coat home and removed the pills and dog hair, as it should have been done by Geneva Tailor. Online hours are incorrect. They closed at 5.

After discussing my needs, I decided to bring Joanne several pairs of pants and shirts for alterations, which she had done in no time. I cannot speak highly enough of Murat. He is truly an artist. In addition to numerous shirts and pants, he modified for me 6 jackets and 1 winter coat that belonged to my father who passed away more than a decade ago. Murat was able to totally alter these beautiful, heavy woolen jackets to fit me (a younger female with a very different, smaller build than my father's) as though they had been originally made for me. It was a remarkable transformation, and I'm so grateful that Murat was able to accomplish what seemed impossible. The cost was also incredibly fair, given the massive effort required. Murat is as good as tailors in NYC and Chicago. He's altered a ton of suits and sport coats for me over the past few years, and has repaired a bunch of clothing for my wife, my son, and I, including a suit jacket that a nail left a two inch rip through - after he repaired it I couldn't even tell where the rip was. I feel genuinely lucky to have Murat's Tailoring here in Geneva and recommend him without reservation. On top of being a superb tailor, he's a super nice and generous person. read more

I was in a pinch to get my Bridesmaid dress taken in an inch or two. I took it in the morning and asked if he was able to get it done that day and the gentlemen was more than happy to help me even though he was a little busy. I got it back before closing and it was perfect! Definitely will be going back!. read more
