My wife and I are extremely happy with our new kitchen floor. The man from West Flooring was prompt and professional, as well as courteous when he took the measurements for the estimate. The installers had to remove four layers of vinyl and a layer of plywood. It was a lot, but they pulled it all up, carried it all out, and installed our new floor in one day. I had carpet installed in 3 rooms in a house in 2016. They did a good job and the price was reasonable. Since then, I have called on 2 occasions to inquire about getting carpet installed in my current home. First off Jermey Helsing is the only reason I chose to do business with West flooring. I prefer to do business with "ma and pa shops" because normally the service is excellent. This was a long drawn out process on our part and Jermey was patient and very laid back. His communication was second to none. It's ironic that I received a card in the mail to leave a review asking me to recommend them because I didn't intend to leave a review. But since they asked here we are. I've been in the showroom multiple times looking at flooring and planning our project out. Not once did the owner introduce himself or acknowledge my presence, even after eye contact. I was raised by parents who were in sales and can't imagine anyone spending upwards of 10k and not making some sort of verbal contact with them. Then have the audacity to send out a post card asking for a review. Now for the nuts and bolts. I learned the flooring they "sell" is ordered from a vender and marked up a decent amount. Mine was about 15 percent. With that being said I could have purchased it cheaper on my own. However if you decide to do that they will not warranty the flooring even if they install it. (More on installation in a minute) kinda BS. So being that I spent so much time with Jermey I decided to proceed with my order. The whole time I was under the impression that West Flooring employed in house installers. This was not the case and also rubbed me the wrong way, (and also all My fault for not asking direct questions) They hire sub contractors and take a cut while the customer is paying more. This is Something I would expect out of Home Depot who quoted me much less for my project, although it was different venders, but comparable. The installers for the carpet and LVT we had installed were excellent and professional. I just feel that I paid another 15-25 percent so West can pocket a few more bucks. All in all the flooring looks excellent and everyone with the exception of the owner was fantastic to deal with. If these little annoyances don't bother you and you don't mind spending a little extra money to help the "local guy" out then I recommend them. But if your on a budget you can get a far better deal from a big box store with equal service. Jermey is top notch and an asset for a company like West. read more

this is the best place to buy flooring in this (Morris) area. Mark came to our house three times to measure for different areas of our home. He always came on time and gave us the estimate while he was here. The two installers also arrived on time, were very friendly, and did an excellent job with all our rooms. one of the rooms was carpeted and the rest were hardwood. they all look just beautiful. the whole experience was great and we would recommend West Flooring to anyone who is looking for reasonable prices and excellent service. read more

They were able to come take measurements the day I called and offer a huge variety of flooring in their show room. My husband and I used West Flooring for our new home and could not be any happier with how it turned out! The house has a combination of hardwood, carpet, and tile, and we love the look of each type! We went to the store with a vague idea of what we wanted, and Mark worked with us to figure out what would be best for certain areas. We really appreciated the suggestions that he provided since this was our first time picking out flooring. We were at the store a few times to make selections and never felt rushed or pressured to make a quick decision. In addition to the great customer service we received, we also love how everything turned out - our hardwood has just enough of a hand-scraped look to give it character, the carpet is soft enough to make you feel like you're walking on a cloud, and the tile makes our bathroom look like a spa!
