The owner told me that in order to do that small 12" area that still smelled, I would be charged another $100.00 & if that didn't work I would have to replace the pad. I explained, that urine was not the case here. He said no matter, it's $100.00 . Really? no thanks . Why not finish the job right, the first time ? As a business owner, I definitely would of came out and accessed the job done, prior to attempting to charge another $100.00 to finish to a satisfactory level. BTW ... I spoke to the owner twice about the tub not being cleaned, so I started leaving little things around the house, things that would have been seen if you were cleaning and everything I put around, yup, never cleaned. One girl came to do the lighter cleaning and she did a phenomenal job. Asked her if she wanted my dogs in the bedroom while she mopped and she said please. So we stayed there and I walked out alone to the door when she was finished. When I asked the owner the first two times about the dogs, she said they were fine. Like any dog, they would come to the door to see who was there. There was one dog that liked them, not sure why unless you were really playing or petting the dog. The small dogs were afraid and one dog didn't care. The one would calm down in 5 minutes until his name was called, which would happen a lot! I did not hire someone for my dogs. They would constantly change the time so I could never plan anything else because I never knew when they would be here. if you tell me you will be here after 2, more like 3/4, I made a 10 minute Dr appt at 2 and was told I never told her I had an appt. Really? I don't need to tell you everything when you said 3/4. I She would claim she was so busy and would try to fit me in due to a day change but was at home at 2:00 pm, can't be that busy. She argued on her business page with over 40 messages and began giving out personal information. My daughter in law followed her page, to see if she wanted to hire them but saw her messages with my review and now I lost my son forever All because of her words she decided to post, our relationship was rocky but we talked and was getting close until this, amazing Christmas I had! She argues when a bad review is left (thank God my husband took screenshots before she deleted all of hers because she violated the HIPPA law) and mine was not the only bad review that she argued with! When posting to look for a new cleaning crew, had 3 messages asking if this is who I used and these people fired her as well. I don't like letting people go, my husband wanted to fire them into the 4th cleaning because they didn't clean as promised, but I kept giving her a chance. I have never felt so much better about myself when I fired this company. I am sure she is going to argue on here with me or state she doesn't know who I am, that's her way or state she already decided not to come back anyway. Not sure who argues on their business page but she sure did giving her an even worse look And then deletes her responses. I am so happy that I found a new company that goes above and beyond! If I didn't text her the day of asking what time, she would have just shown up. They claim they never know what the house before me would look like but if they are normal customers, you would know or how about a text....we are getting done early, any chance to come early but so funny they would never text saying they we're going to be late. If a nurse tells you a time, she use is on time and she could have a lot more go wrong then a cleaning company! I never would have written a bad review if she would have been an adult and called me to fix this. I understand people getting sick but that was the reason for the two weeks prior, all 3 were sick. Not reliable on times and their cleaning is not that great. Claimed I received a deep clean, didn't charge me for that, because they vacuumed behind my love seat with the wand, not moving furniture, just putting the wand beind the love seat. I initially considered the "do-it-yourself" route by renting a Rug Doctor machine (and all that comes with that... buying the carpet cleaner shampoo, pretreatment chemicals, extra-charges, the time to do the work, transport equipment, etc.), and even asked friends for their feedback on this process. Bottom-line, I didn't have to time nor the complete confidence of getting professional results by doing it myself. After careful on-line research to check on companies and related reviews, I decided on Breathe Easy which turned out to be the best choice. Doug is the Owner of this family-run business and along with his wife, Laura (via initial phone call), they made this experience very pleasant. Yes, their website has much info and pic's, but it was the honest, sincere approach of being able to ask several questions upfront without being rushed that had me commit to an appointment, which was done one week in advance. Other reviews have echoed the same, and the price point in my case was VERY reasonable for cleaning 4 std-size rooms and a staircase; the price was even lower than some of those alleged "special coupons" you receive in the mail. A little extra-effort on some misc. areas came at no-extra charge! per Doug, who performed the actual cleaning. The process took 2 hours that started @ 9 AM and carpeting was dry by that early evening (had the A/C on). It helps tremendously to have your items out of the way, including tieing-up low, hanging draperies. I did have three large units which I could not move (china cabinet, piano, office desk) which was no issue as the carpeting around these areas was done carefully. Yes, there are various carpet types to consider so feel free to inquire ahead of time. My home has the usual beige, builder-installed carpet grade, which looked new again after 9 years, including two kids and two dogs! During the actual cleaning, I was able to follow Doug around and ask questions as needed. FYI, he will need a sink to fill-up his machine (he uses a 5 gal bucket he brings) and has a wand tool when cleaning the hard-to-reach areas and stairways. Refused water will be flushed down your toilet. The noise-level was like that of a large,shop vacuum-cleaner. No issues for me. Modestly, we keep our home clean and recognized we still needed to get the carpet cleaned sooner. So, in closing, I confidently recommend Breathe Easy Carpet Cleaning and don't hesitate to contact them. I recommend highly the value and experience they provided!
