Third time here and first review. In the previous visits I have had the pizza and the green olive burger; both very good. Today, I gave the their "Famous" Hot Beef a whirl and the sandwich was pretty tasty. A little salty for some (I believe); However, with the paired sauce in which they serve with it, was awesome! I had a few chewy pieces, but that did not detract me from enjoying the sandwich from start to finish. I sat at the bar, as I didn't need a table for one and it was going to be a quick lunch. I do enjoy bar service, and Peter (I believe) was the bartender/server for lunch service was very personable and recommend the hot beef, the dish I was after for this visit. Ambiance is a classic Wisconsin bar/grill with money taking machines (hopefully not) and of course, pull tabs. There are outside patio tables, as well as, inside table service. West Hill Bar & Grill is more than just a bar with food! Give them a try and support your local businesses!! read more

I've never been so glad to walk into a bar on a Sunday! There is a sweet deal on VERY yummy Bloody Marys, and the Deep Fried Ham and Cheese Sandwich is drool-worthy. Parking is easy and the service is good. Prices - particularly with those specials - cannot be beat! Wonderful fish fry. Terrible coleslaw! The fish has a light, crispy coating and the fries are very good but the coleslaw was just awful! It's soaked in mayonnaise. We couldn't eat it. It's a shame to waste food like that. In past visits the pizza and sándwiches were very good. read more

My wife and I went there for a Friday Night Fish Fry. Nice little bar with a home feeling atmosphere. The service was awesome and the food came very fast. Great drink specials that night and the fish was very good. The toast and fries were superb also. I didn't like the coleslaw recipe but my wife did. Portions were good sized. Will return soon. They do not accept checks, in todays day and age of hacked credit card systems, its nice when a business accepts checks. its very convenient for their customers. read more

Was visiting WI from MS and wanted a fish fry. So glad we found this place on Yelp. Excellent fish fry at a great price. Your choice of 1, 2, or 3 pieces of fish, Cole slaw, and choice of potato. Fish was battered lightly as not to cover the flavor if fish. Fish was thick, tasty, and and good portion. Service was very good. Place was busy at 7 on a Friday night. Went to Chippewa Falls for the brewery tour and wanted a good burger. West Hill Bar and Grill didn't disappoint us. This is a classic local Wisconsin bar and grill. Family all had burgers and had positive reviews from all. We especially liked the fries. Prices are reasonable, service was good and the burgers were tasty. read more

I dislike this place because there bathroom is so small and there chairs are so wobbly I feel like I'm gonna fall over so never come here again The photos are fake because it's so dirty there spiders crawling around. read more

Great place for food taste and price. Homemade cheese curds along with a dill ranch made a great starter. Burger was classic burger that hit the spot with a substantial helping of fries. Restaurant/Bar it's self was fairly busy yet not as loud as most bars are. read more

Stopped here on a whim and ordered a pie to go. One of the better thin crust pies I have had. Will definitely stop here again!

Came in after the LeinenKugel's tour and we were Treated with a smile from the moment we walked through the door. As soon as one of the waitresses realized we were tourists she immediately started recommending places. Nice to feel welcome and not treated like a nuisance. Their pizza is great, considering a 16 inch sausage pizza ends up being a $9.50 after the coupon in the pamphlet. They also have great daily specials and sell beer to go! One stop shop! read more

We visited Wisconsin this past summer, came all the way from Alabama! Went to Leinenkugels and I came to yelp to find a restaurant near by. We were not disappointed! Started off with cheese curds (which we don't have in the south) and they were the best out of any restaurant we ate at! Then I had the fish and chips, so so good! Went to try their deep fried ham and Swiss sandwich. Wasn't what I expected, the ham was fried with the cheese on top. It was just ok, store bought bun and a less than edible pickle. Chili, which I was in the mood for, tasted like it was out of a can. At least the beer was cold. read more

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat our food there. We had an upset toddler so we got the food to go. It was good food and I imagine it would have been even better fresh. Server was great in working with us to get food boxed up to go. My only complaint is that there is only one table that is not high top and it was taken. I know it is a bar, but it is not ideal having your 1.5 year old sit on a high top. read more

Found this bar grill via Yelp app. We stopped in to get a quick lunch between hockey games. Food was served quickly and tasted great. Try the homemade chips, they are awesome! Nice little local bar and grill. Plenty of TVs. Not too loud. Good selection of beer. Clean and tidy. Very friendly and professional staff. We will be back. read more

We were in town visting relatives nearby and stopped here for lunch. Mostly, the food was really good (and cheap) and I would definitely come back. We had a table of 6 and we definitely stuck out as the out-of-towners we were. The waitstaff was friendly (but a bit unattentive, which is why they get 4 stars and not 5). We were constantly going up to the bar (it's a small place) to get drink refills as our waitress never came by to check on us. But, the cheese curds were delicous. The pizza was delicous (and $5 off each large pizze at lunch, making them about $10-11 each (what a steal)). The one food item we got that was disappointing was their "famous" hot beef sandwich. Granted, we're from south Louisiana and so we like some spice to our food, but the sandwich was extremely dry and bland. But the pizza was a big hit. And I saw many people ordering the jumbo chicken wings, which looked delicous as well. So, if you're in the mood for wings or pizza, definitely go. Oh, and the price on everything was ridiculously cheap (I was expecting the bill to be double what it was). A root beer, a beer, cheese curds, a hot beef sandwich and 2 16" pizzas for about $46 - crazy!!! read more
