And, without notice, they got rid of our Tues class to a swim instruction class and totally rearranged the other 3 instructors. Instead of just dropping Tues, they let one instructor have 2 classes each (4 classes) on Mon and Wed and another instructor was moved to Thurs. Many of us signed a letter to the owner to keep the omitted instructor on Mon evening, allow the Wed class to go on with the instructor that already had Wed, and the only instructor that would have been effected would have been the T/Th instructor, but she would still have had her TWO classes on Thurs. There numerous letters sent to Greg, the owner, and he has not had the courage to change things per our request with all 3 instructors. The Monday class with the omitted instructor has lost multiple participants and we are missing our friends. There was no reason for this to have occurred....and if there was, the owner of LivRite hasn't had the decency to inform us. We thought this was a Christian organization, don't believe it the way the owner has acted.

The owner, Josh, is also extremely nice with a lot of ideas to challenge you. When you join survival gym you can join in how your schedule fits in and the workout is defined for you. Josh will also work around any injuries and help you get the best work out your can. On my try out I was able to do hammer swings in a tire, belt squats, triceps, a whole lot of new workout ideas! Essentially you pair off at the beginning and there is a list of exercises/stations. So while you do a 10 set dead lift for example, the partner may be doing push-ups. Then after a few reps you go to next Station. Josh, the owner, helped walk me through the exercises since I wasn't familiar, but I could see him also encouraging/helping others. It was great to see a wide range of body types/ages. I was pretty sore afterwards, but it was a good type of sore that told me I did a good job. They're currently running a special where you can try the first class for free then buy a 10 pack for $100, which expires after 6 months. I highly recommend! I think it's cheaper/more effective/encouraging than going to a personal trainer.

Myriad has multiple membership levels; mine is the Bootcamp + yoga plan. I'm still working back into fitness routines, but I've seen a lot of progress in this short time. So who knows, maybe CrossFit classes will start down the road as I build. My biggest surprise in joining this gym, though, was the yoga classes. This has been huge as I need to stretch out, but honestly, the warm yoga is probably the highest calorie burn I've seen in an hour's time. I've gotten to push myself and try movements I'm not used to 3. THE COACHES! Honestly the coaches are the best and make sure you're prepared for the workout, talk you through modifications to the exercises, etc. The class can be as challenging as you make it! 4. The group setting. It's so much more motivating (for me at least) to work out with a group with others pushing you. NapTown has so much more to offer than group fitness, too - yoga, nutrition, community events, workshops, etc. They've taken so many steps to help mitigate the pandemic, including virtual class options and designated workout space clearly marked out on the floor. They've been so communicative through the entire ordeal. Between the members-only Facebook page and weekly newsletter, I always feel informed about happenings and updates at the gym. They offered 24/7 access to the facility, by way of going through the Anytime Fitness that is located next door to them. This was key for me because my schedule didn't line up with their class schedule, but I could go and do the posted workouts at anytime! Even better, there was always a coach available that I could get clarification for movements that I wasn't familiar with. They program for crossfit, AFL (Advanced Fat Loss), Strength, and Physique training! I loved the different workout options and their program is definitely a challenge, but like any program, it's adjustable. I think this helps to maintain a positive, non-judgmental atmosphere because you're all there for a similar reason but you're probably all participating in different programs. They have an incredible staff of coaches. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and they truly know their movements. Noah, Anthony, and Jesse were super helpful and friendly with their feedback. These guys won't steer you wrong, regardless of the programming you participate in. The facility is clean and well maintained. If you need help with nutrition, they work with a Registered Dietitian who can help and they work with a meal prep and delivery service. Y'all, this place makes getting in shape a breeze. They have every service you need. Moreover, all of the staff and members that I came in contact with, were fantastic people. The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.
