They seem nice enough but fairly disorganized. Don't get a good feeling about how the business is run. We are switching away.

I was in shock how do you send a mother outside the hospital with 3 kids by her side(4months,3years old and 8year old yet it's raining who does that. The worst part is when I was standing out in the rain 2 adults patients came out from the hospital after being kicked out they were shocked to see me out with my 3 children.I don't know how she's still practicing terrible are you a mother yourself,How are you a doctor or you looked down upon us because we were black?I thought you are from Africa too where was your level of empathy whether black, green or white. Then when you were contacted you lied and said you asked me to go to mackdonald to wait for my ride. How dare you!Did you see the distance between the hospital and Macdonald with a small child on a car seat and my 2 other kids.Shame on you I thank God we found a wonderful doctor for my children and a better hospital where people are treated like human beings. There was no way I was going to return there thank God

Her first pediatrician was Dr. Audrey Unrau. She's now retired, but she provided excellent care for our little one, and now we find the same level of care and assurance with Dr. Rosborough. We've also come in to see a few other doctors and nurses for issues that needed immediate attention and all are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It is rare that we experience long wait times, but the very few times we do, we were updated and given options to reschedule or stay. Our kiddo is very shy and doesn't easily warm up to new people and places at first. Both Dr. Unrau and Dr. Rosborough knew how to interact with our little one, making her feel comfortable while carrying on with exams. They're extremely patient and offer excellent advice. I never feel rushed with the list of questions I present them nor do I feel pressured to do anything I don't feel comfortable giving or practicing with my family. I've been able to get my kid in immediately when something like a mysterious rash suddenly pops up. I value the after-hours service too. Care shouldn't be limited to business hours and that's something they recognize. Talking to their nurses after hours has been very helpful in that they provide knowledgeable advice, assurance, and are able to schedule immediate appointments if necessary. The nurses are very patient. When my daughter was a young toddler, she was VERY fearful of the weight scales and height measurement ruler, and I really liked that nurses like Mia (sp?) were very understanding and patient. She told me she wanted to create positive experiences for my kid at the doctor's office, so she didn't want to push it too much with the eye and hearing tests before our exam. She offered other alternatives and offered another time to have it done. The rooms are bright and fun. The waiting room has fun fish tanks that my daughter always remembers and looks forward to seeing. We haven't experienced any rude staff and were never made to feel like we were another patient. We appreciate the level of care here and would recommend this place to others looking for a good care team for their kids. Other things worth mentioning: they have a great team of psychologists for all ages. When we needed some help with behavior regarding tantrums, potty training, and mealtime, Dr. Collin Dean provided very insightful advice to help us understand the developmental changes going on with our toddler. I highly recommend him.

My child needed a sports physical to be able to try out and participate in a school activity. We had a small window between jobs so we had to get government insurance. They completely refused my child care during that time, we had multiple conversations with Oregon pediatrics as what we needed was a pressing matter, received poor information multiple times. We were told we didn't need it since she had been seen within 2yrs, incorrect, then we waited weeks until we had secured insurance that they took again, and the morning of this long awaited appointment they cancelled the appointment, (after my child had already missed school.) due to the government insurance still showing up on their end even though we had already cancelled it. Absolutely wrong on so many levels. The staff when addressing this issue were VERY unprofessional, adding insult to injury we were called a liar. Unbelievable, we had been loyal to them for YEARS, and to be treated this way is just wild.

So rude! My infant was seen in the ER and she has the nerve to tell me my concerns for my infant aren't enough to warrant a doctor visit. Really? On August 5, 2024, and October 18, 2024, Dr. Mary Miller asked my wife and me if we wanted our daughter to receive the hepatitis B vaccine. I remember the conversation vividly because Dr. Miller shared with my wife and I that she was going through a divorce. We explicitly told Dr. Miller that we did NOT want our daughter to receive this vaccine at that time. We did, however, consent to other vaccines, including Polio, DTaP, Hib, Pneumococcal Conjugate, and Rotavirus. During the week of June 23, 2025, my wife and I requested Penelope's vaccine records from Olson Pediatrics because her daycare required them. To our dismay, the records showed that Penelope was given the hepatitis B vaccine on August 5, 2024, and December 18, 2024, despite our clear refusal. On June 30, 2025, at 12:54 PM, my wife called Olson Pediatrics and spoke with a staff member named Hillary to inquire if this was a clerical error, as we had declined the hepatitis B vaccine. Hillary confirmed that it was not a clerical error and stated that the office had no record of our refusal of the hepatitis B vaccine. We are deeply concerned about this breach of trust and intend to file a formal complaint with the Oregon Department of Health and other relevant oversight agencies regarding Olson Pediatrics' actions. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.
