I was panicking thinking I'd have to go way out of my way and be even later to the lake than I was to begin with. But my boyfriend saved the day because he said just stop at Fisherman's. I said "what's Fisherman's." Lol. He told me where it was and immediately I knew WHERE it was but I had never, EVER seen it. Thankfully it was SO easy to find the tanks (albeit I bought butane vs propane...and had to go back to exchange it) and I was in and out. As I said I bought the WRONG tanks. But it was SO easy to go back and exchange them! I even saved a few dollars since the ones I needed were less! I'll definitely be going to Fisherman's for camping needs going forward! Their pricing is close to the big online retailers OR equal. And the employees were friendly and made my shopping and return experience easy.

Like many other Dick's store, they had all the popular sections like baseball, softball, football, tennis, fishing, biking, golf, racket sports, sneakers and huge displays of apparels from different brands. I explored the store for about half an hour. They have lots of World Cup 2026 merchandises. I was looking for sporting shorts and found some I liked in Adidas section. Was highly disappointed but since I was there, decided to walk the aisles. The vast majority of the store is filled with clothing. Racks and racks of clothing. Like it's sister store and neighbor, Marshall's, they must get leftover clothing from other stores and sell at a discount. There are definitely good finds among the racks, but I wasn't shopping for clothing and didn't have the patience. Ended up buying a wide brimmed sun hat with SPF of 50 for just $16.99. There were only three customers at the checkout but it still seemed to take forever. They have uniforms and other clothing, books, CDs, badges (it is all about the badges my friend), beads, caps and ribbons, plus all of the related materials that a scout needs to advance through the ranks. Also a nice selection of camping gear and kits for many of the suggested crafts and activities that the boys use during the year. On any given weekend you'll see lots of fathers and sons (moms too) with their new scouts as they try on their first uniform or get supplies for their next pack meeting. Scouting is a bit of a blast from the past, but this organization is still very much alive and well in Oregon.
