Gina Twumasi created an absolute nightmare of an experience. Twumasi's negligence didn't just hurt…read moreme, it severely impacted my children, causing serious damage to our family as a whole. I was struggling with insomnia during a stressful situation. Gina Twumasi worsened this stress. She confused personal information and treatment about another patient with me. When a medication was unhelpful, Twumasi doubled the dose, and continued doubling it month after month despite it being ineffactive. When my PCP expressed disagreement with medication Twumasi had prescribed me, and offered to collaborate, Twumasi abruptly stopped communicating with no explanation (she obviously didn't want to collaborate). Despite having future appointments in place, Twumasi and her front desk went silent. Psych on Demand lacked the decency and professionalism to respond to any attempts I made to contact. The receptionist Renate was consistently rude and lacked the knowledge and ability to be of any help. The worst part is Twumasi seemed to feel no remorse for the damage she caused and has done nothing to repair the impact of her poor choices.

I just wanted to say before going to my first session with Keri, I was having a lot of anxiety,…read moretrying to place IVs and do procedures for clinical. I would go into fighter flight. My heart would start pounding my hands would get sweaty and start shaking, and I was not confident at all! I went for my first session and during that session I talked about a lot of things regarding my stepmother and my past and hold some of my trauma. I cried a few times! We ended the session, and I was exhausted! I went to bed that night and slept so good! The following day, I went to clinical where I was feeling a little bit more confident! When I got out of clinical, I went to my car and for some reason, started randomly laughing at my CD player in my car (completely out of my nature)! The days to proceed I started becoming a little bit more secure with doing flu vaccines! In the middle of it, I had a very strange dream about my stepmom, hugging me and telling me that I am good enough! The following day after having that dream I was very successful with placing flu vaccines without feeling shaky or my heart pounding! I also noticed that I was ready to do flu vaccines, where I actually asked everyone in the office for me to do them! Another thing that I noticed was, I stopped drinking alcohol! Prior to my first session, I was drinking a glass of wine every night( hard to admit). Moving forward, I would like to feel very confident with placing PPD's! Not entirely sure why I was so afraid to do them my last clinical day! (Even though I did a flu vaccine). It may be because it's something I've never done before and it brand new to me. I want to be able to approach any procedure without feeling shaky, without feeling like my heart is beating, like I'm ready to tackle the task!!

I left a review on their Facebook page and not sure if it got deleted or they blocked me but at my last session I had with my APRN she went about it by asking me if the ladies had reached out to me about their new southington location their sending patients to, to which I told her my therapist recommended me to a new ARPN that I will be trying, then she proceeded to ask me why I left a bad review on the practices Facebook page very rudely and unexpectedly which I find very inappropriate. Also last thing is I had messaged my APRN recently on my portal about an issue I was having to which she never once responded back to me.
