We waited 2.5 hours for a tow truck just to be told they couldn't do it. When in the past the car has been towed perfectly fine for the same issue. Told we'd probably have to pay out of pocket even though we went through insurance and then whole attitude changed when we told them who we go through. Car was in a accident and towed to their location. I assumed it would be in a secured or locked up area. Car had food, clothing and many personal items in it that I did not want to lose. BOY was I wrong. After many try's to reach them Monday morning I went over to them and found the building open and impound lot unlocked and wide open. I walked in and cleaned out my car of my stuff. Nobody questioned it. I could have cleaned out everyone else's also and nobody asked. They said Ottawa County says it has to be left open day. I don't believe that and am waiting for a call back from them. I will pursue and post more when they respond. They just replied back and they have no such rule. Just as I thought. My back wheel literally fell off my vehicle. It was after 5:00, so I picked the first towing place I could find in the area. I'm so happy I found West Michigan Towing. Mike was there in 15 minutes, and somehow came up with a way to get my vehicle up on the flat bed without any damage to the rotor! He drove it very carefully to the mechanic I chose, and again surprised me by finding a way to unload it without damage! He gave over an hour and a half of his own time to make sure it was done right. Great rates, fast and very easy to work with. Will definitely use them again! read more

Stuck in a ditch 10 miles from Holland MI during the December 2022 blizzard. AAA said 2 1/2 hours and never called back. WMT showed up, got us out and even brought in the calvary of local farmers and the fire chief to plow us to our hotel. Don't call anyone else! read more

The repair shop we used recommended this towing company to us. The tow was fine, fee was fair and I paid via credit card over the phone. They don't email receipts. When I realized I needed one for insurance, although I can give them our name, date of service, amount, credit card number, location to and from tow, they are unwilling to look us up and provide any kind of receipt, so I can get reimbursed. Cheap but slow... it is winter so they could be busy, maybe quicker during summer. In a bind they are the better choice compared to other tows that charge a higher flat rate plus miles driven while WMT just charges $65 (must be within 5 miles of holland) read more

If I could give no stars I would... Their prices are off the wall ridiculous! For a jump start that took less than 5 min of work we were charged $55 dollars!!!! And we were not located out of the way either. I swear he looked in my husbands wallet to see what he had before deciding the price. The gentlemen that WMT sent to help me was great. I had to have my Trailblazer towed to a friends garage. The guy who loaded up my vehicle, not only safely got it from point A to point B, he also help my friends wife move some equipment out of their garage to make room for the Trailblazer. Very friendly, helpfull and it cost $80 to go 13 miles. The cost estimates were the same as other tow companies in the area, and the service was great. read more

I had a long and exhausting day at work, was so looking forward to going home to relax. As I was leaving my parking space I heard the dreaded sound of a flat tire.... I called West MI Towing and was told that my wait time would be approximately 20 minutes. In six minutes after my call, Josh showed up. He was getting off his shift and heading home to his kids but he had asked and the next shift person could not get me for a little while so he stopped at my work to help me out. He was so professional and so very helpful my day had been bad but Josh truly made the bad situation better. He had suggestions that he offered for repair/replacement of my tire and was able to look at my proof of insurance and informed me he could bill my insurance company. Overall I am very pleased with the service that I received and the professionalism that I saw and was given from Josh. I will definitely call this company anytime I need assistance.
