However, each morning the eggs were full of water, the waffles were soggy, and the food lukewarm at best. Staff tends to hang out back in the kitchen, rarely making rounds to check on drinks or for any other needs. Again, very nice. But not really attentive. The evening reception in the lounge was unremarkable. Honor bar was a fantastic touch. However, the food again was disappointing, over over seasoned and cold, despite sitting in the warming trays. Each night I tried something different at the restaurant. Temperatures were inconsistent, usually it was very heavily salted. On my last night multiple people sent food back from the bar for various issues. There happened to be a special event going on, and when speaking with the food and beverage supervisor, the special event seemed to be the focus. The pool area has been closed the entire time. Here for business. Not a lot of accommodations in the area to choose from. I would give this property another chance, but they need to step up their game. Ms. Rose and Miss Kiana were very professional in welcoming us to the property while making us feel like family as well. We stayed in the Lincoln Suite-highly recommend.
