Under her care, I've had a few cleanings, two root canals, root planing for my whole mouth, three wisdom teeth removed, a handful of fillings. Next Friday I'll be having another crown done, and a mouthguard made--all because of my TMJ. She is excellent at looking at the whole picture of your teeth/jaw health, and letting you know the best course of action and *why* it's the best course of action. I've learned a LOT about my own teeth and TMJ from her! Two other side notes on things I appreciate about Greenwood Smile Dental: - William, the receptionist, is the best. He is kind and patient when there are scheduling issues and handles "OMG how am I gonna pay for this!?!" and all of my stress over insurance issues with grace and understanding. - I've certainly had more dental work than I can afford done over the past few years, and they have allowed me to make a payment plan that works for me. My teeth would NOT be in as good of condition as they are now if it wasn't for that option. I'd probably still be in a lot of pain. Overall, I LOVE Greenwood Smile Dental because they're knowledgable, gracious, and care for the whole person. 10/10. Will be back (literally--I have an appointment for next Friday).

Cai is often our hygienist and is always very personable, friendly, chatty and sweet. She is also very knowledgeable and often shares her tips, experience and education with us in our appointments. (When asked, of course!) Wei, at the front desk remembers us at each visit, and has always been friendly and quick to offer assistance, make phone calls or look into our insurance options, and overall is a wonderful first point of contact during our visits.

I started with Dr. Laura Sauvage at their Westlake Ave N. location, and now I am a patient under Dr. Wilson. When I first met Dr. Sauvage years ago, and learned of all the work my teeth needed, I was in a very dour mood, being that I was around 32 at the time, and most people don't deal with this level of tooth trouble until they're 60! Dr. Savauge was very patient and kind, and gently explained why all the work was necessary. Three years of Invisalign, metal braces, an abscessed tooth, and now 17 crowns later over seven years, I am still a proud patient of theirs. My attitude towards life and the profession of dentistry is as transformed as my mouth is. I share a smile with anyone I can, and I'm proud to share it because of their excellent work. A lot of people hate going to the dentist, but not this guy! I love everyone in the office, and if there was a sainthood for dentistry, they should all be canonized. Our previous dentist was sweet, but he had visible rheumatoid arthritis (didn't notice until several bi-annual cleanings in), and after he slipped and cut my gums and stabbed one of my kids in the gums in the same family block visit, I figured it was time to find a new dentist. The hygienist I saw was thorough, thoughtful, gentle, and communicative. And the dentist who checked in at the end of the visit, Dr. Popek, answered my questions with clarity, and was also gentle, thoughtful, thorough and communicative. I suspect my filling repair next week will go well, and I'm looking forward to continuing with this new office for the foreseeable future.

I was a little…read moreworried at first because my old dentist was no frills but kept prices low and did an excellent job. This being in a much nicer spot and right near Amazon worried me a little. Thankfully, everything that I loved at my old dentist is still true here. I have been impressed with their transparency and truly not pushing unnecessary procedures. I have a bit of pitting in one of my back molars, but to date they have said I do not need a filling and that they'll keep monitoring it. I think that is a sign of a great practice. My teeth are the best they've been and I haven't had to have any new fillings yet. Even though I moved out of downtown, I will continue coming here because I am truly happy with the services I've received.

They were very patient and understanding with me - being a bit nervous in the chair. They explained everything they were going to do, how long it would take, and what to expect. To my surprise, they offer same-day crowns and I was in and out of their office in 2 1/2 hours. The crown fits perfectly and my bite is exactly as it was before. I highly recommend them and wish I had done this sooner.

This week, I had the novel experience of enjoying a trip to the dentist…read more Dr. Prakash, his technical assistant Tula (herself a dentist), and everyone at Fresh Smile Seattle went above and beyond in their first time care of me: a somewhat anxious neurodivergent senior citizen dentist-hater since childhood. To be fair, my anti-dental stand is rooted in trauma, pun intended, but there was no ego at Fresh Smile, just a genuine desire to help their patients and do good work. Go here, folks. Especially if you have any fears. I like that they still mask at this office. I got Covid in late 2025 and it was one of my worst experiences, so it felt good that this place is still minimizing transmission of all respiratory bugs through PPE and lots of HEPA air filtration. I felt safe going here which for me, is rare. I have NEVER had a dental workup like this. My first clue were the intake questions. I usually hate filling those forms, but these questions were intelligent and caring. Then, Dr. Prakash and Tula gathered extensive data on my mouth. X-ray equipment was top of the line and thorough, and the office has tools which created a 3d scan of my bite. This built a computer model of my teeth that can be used for appliance formation or to reference future changes. Cutting edge stuff. Although the past 5 years somewhat ravaged my mouth, I feel confident that this team will get me back to the best dental health I can achieve. The office is easily accessible on Capitol Hill. There is dedicated parking. Costs were reasonable, and Dr. Prakash showed a willingness to work with my finances which was great. If you need to find a kind, technically proficient, up to date dental office, you can't do better than Fresh Smile.
