It's late June, and gorgeous weather for this sport!…read more Although the company recommends online reservations, even at our nine a.m. ticket time there was an additional two hour wait. If you can afford it, I'd suggest buying the "jump to the head of the line" tickets - these are green wristbands instead of the regular ones, which are blue. There's a weigh-in at the place where wristbands are put on you; this is also where you are given a blue safety helmet. For the next 90 minutes you're at the top of the tower, waiting for your turn to be strapped into a harness that becomes your seat and safety lines. 90's pop hits on the overhead, and playing, "name that language" help pass the time. And then there's the spectacular view. Just before the gate is opened, instructions are given. Listen carefully to them: The stop *will* be sudden, and it will be scary, until you realize, "Oh, I was told about this". The trip itself? I laughed all the way down, and leaned far back, which made me travel much faster than the other three people on parallel lines. Once unharnessed and out the other side, it's very much an, "exit through the gift shop" situation: There's no other way to leave but through the media center, and multiple people tried to prompt us to buy videos or photos we hadn't requested. Which is fine, but I mention it. Lastly, as a courtesy to all guests, chauffeured golf carts bring everyone up the steep trail to Victoria Park. I imagine in the wilting heat of July and August, this would be especially welcome. I strongly recommend this activity, especially as a family outing, or as a date.

It's fun, safe, and quick, and the people are great. That said, I can't give it 5. I paid extra to get the photo/video package. It's a little misleading. They take 3 pictures at the end, and you can only pick 1 to use/keep. The video is mostly you coming and leaving, and passing various checkpoints. I was expecting a little more, like a camera mounted in front of you so the whole thing is taped, and more pictures than 1. That said, do the zipline, do it early for the discount, but pass on the extra package.

I was terrified last week but was determined to overcome fear! It was the best, most fun experience for my family! No gaming or cell phones or kids in their rooms? Thusly, my initial walk was rebooted from my birthday to a few days later, which happened to be one of the last of the season. The client services were proactive in their outreach and also contacted me on the day of the reschedule to confirm that it was a 'go.' So I finally did it, and it's really not for the faint at heart! If you want to overcome you fear of heights this is probably the closest to 'cold turkey' as you are going to get. The team from the orientation and sizing of the suits to the walk leader Stephen were to best in class. They are supportive and amiable, not to mention patient. They know your names, relative skill and fear level within 30 seconds more or less. They ensure your safety and comfort in a friendly and amicable manner. The views of T. At night are the most pectacular I've ever seen, and hanging several 100 feet off the ground was well worth the $195 plus tax. Don't forget you also get a ticket for the elevator and Skype, witha coffee or hot chocolate which we used right after. That alone is worth an additional $55. We also received a complimentary CN Tower toque. Thanks guys for a great start to 2022! -Zuk

This newer location was bigger, more spacious, and had more obstacles and areas such as dodgeball & volleyball arena and arcade games (which you can play after finished with going through the obstacle course). I really liked the diversity of all of the courses. For some of them, you can choose the 'easy' or 'hard' version. Once you finish going through all of the obstacles in the course (which took ~30-45 minutes), you can play dodgeball, volleyball, arcade games, giant Jenga, giant 4-In-A-Row, try scaling up one of the vertical walls, or go through any of the obstacles again. Staff were all super friendly and energetic, from the ones who greeted us at the front and helped us check in, to the ones who explained the rules once inside. Useful tips: - Sign the waiver online to save time when checking in. - Bring a lock or you can purchase one at the front desk for $4. - There is ample parking space in the parking lot right outside the building, and TTC bus stop is 2-8 minutes walk (depending on which bus # you take). - There is a vending machine where you can purchase drinks. - It's better to wear long pants or leggings instead of shorts because in some obstacles, there are 'slides' component and parts where the surface can rub hard against the skin (and pants also do a better job at protecting the knee when crawling).

There's a great variety of challenges, and you'll definitely work up a sweat while having fun! My biggest tip is to book an earlier time slot and arrive right at opening. It tends to be less crowded, and the wait between rooms is much shorter, which makes the experience even better. I've been back multiple times and always have a great time. It's a fun activity for all ages, whether you're going with family or a group of friends. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Activate located at Eglinton Town Centre near Eglinton and Lebovic Ave is an indoor gaming facility…read morewhere players can move through interactive and immersive rooms to test their physical as well as mental skills. Activate is open daily and hours change depending on the day. Since Activate is located in a plaza, there is plenty of parking throughout. It is also accessible by the Eglinton LRT as well. I stopped by Activate for the first time recently with a party of 4 to enjoy some fun at the facility. We decided to go in the morning around 10am on a Saturday. It does get busier later in the day which can increase the time you'll need to wait for games as more people are in more rooms. Upon entering the facility, you pay for how many minutes of play you desire and collect your wristbands (one is a player wristband, the other is a locker wristband). If it is your first time there, there are stations where you can create a player ID and account. Before entering the play area, to the side there are some tables for you to rest. There is also a locker room with a bench as well as separate washrooms for females and males. There are water stations as well. It is best to wear comfortable shoes or running shoes as some rooms/games require you to move around quite a lot, which can work up a sweat. Games wise, the games are fast, which last only a few minutes, best played with a small group of players (2-5 people where 5 people is the maximum number of players). Each room also only allows one party to play at a time. Each room also has about 4-5 different games with different levels of difficulty. Before entering a room, a specific game is selected where everyone in the party scans their wristband by the door. This way, you can earn points or keep track of your high score for a certain game (getting a certain amount of points can allow you to redeem points). Once in the room, you can keep replaying the game as long as there is no other party waiting to play outside (if there is you'll have to exit the room as soon as possible). The games, all time-based, range from shooting hoops, dodging lasers, finding items, shooting targets, throwing balls, stepping on specific colours on a grid, the list can go on! The levels of difficulty within each game also vary making it more difficult to pass a certain level. There is definitely a game for everyone to enjoy. Within the games area, there is also a photo booth area where you can take photos with your party. Your photos are then digitally sent to your email as well. Overall, an interactive and immersive gaming facility where arcade-style games test your physical and mental skills! Activate is for all ages and is a fun activity to do in a small group. Definitely go in the morning if you want to avoid the crowds!

This is a CAN'T MISS experience! I guarantee the first question that your friends will ask you…read moreafter your Niagara Falls vacation will be - "did you ride the boat?" Boarding experience was efficient. They have attendants to usher you into one of several elevators. Then a short walk down to the platform while you wait for one of two boats so the wait is not long. Red ponchos given to you which are complimentary. PRO TIP: you'll get the best pictures if you're lucky enough to be able to get a spot on the upper deck near the railing. We were so lucky to be "cut off" from the line ahead of us for one boat and had to wait for the next boat, which turned out to be excellent for us. I wonder if you can request to wait if it looks like you're going to be the last ones on a boat. Surely the last in line will be towards the back of the boat or on the lower deck. But even if that's you, don't be worried - the boat sails in, and then turns around to go out. So even if you are in the back, there will be an opportunity for a picture. No announcements from the captain. No demonstration of putting on life jackets or at least told where they are located. Any boat tour I've done in the US would typically have something like this. Guess it's different in Canada. Everyone loaded, the boat just goes. And what a spectacular view. Take your family pictures as you are getting close, because after a certain point, you will feel the power of the falls. Eventually all you'll be able to see is mist. And it will feel like you're caught in a rain storm. The crowd all yells, laughs, and screams in excited unison! At some point, you could even say you're just trying to survive. You'll be lucky if the poncho hood stays on your head and that it covers both of your arms. Our hats were soaked and shoes were drenched, but we had so much fun! Definitely an experience that my kids will remember for their lifetime! Highly recommend!

Tasted like it had been boiled for hours then sprayed with grill marks. Simply awful. The one and only bite I took was already half way down my throat when I realized I wanted to get as far away from it as possible. That out of the way... Everything else was a charm! I boarded Niagara City Cruises with the confidence of someone who had never seen Niagara Falls and assumed the complimentary red poncho would keep me dry. Wrong. We got absolutely blasted by the falls! It was spectacular fun! The experience began innocently enough. The falls looked beautiful from a distance. People were smiling. Birds were flying. Families were taking photos. Then the boat moved closer and nature abruptly decided that everyone on board needed a shower. Literally thousands of gallons of water a second are crashing from the sky. The poncho performed admirably if its job was protecting approximately 60 percent of my body. My hair and face were soaked. My pant legs and shoes were drenched. My poncho kept bellowing in the wind. I looked around at one point and I saw that this was everyone's story. The closer we got to the falls, the less we could see. The magnificent view slowly transformed into a white wall of mist, wind and life choices. Conversations became impossible. Communication was reduced to pointing, yelling and laughing. The power is overwhelming. The noise is deafening. The mist is relentless. The memory is unforgettable. Yes, it was incredible and I wish to have this experience -- without the hot dog -- all over again!
