Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts. They simply could not have done a better job!

This is exactly why I waited to post--I find this level of monitoring and personal contact highly invasive and unprofessional. Hired this company to remove a tree. First of all, I know it's a very demanding business and risky at that. And things come up all the time, but what is unacceptable is accountability. I had an appointment and the day of the person was nowhere to be seen. I could not get a hold of Xavier. He finally responded after numerous calls. I have several friends in this business and they said that they at least apologize when they over schedule and things come up. Again, I understand this. But at least apologize for the lack of communication. An apology goes a long way!

We had to remove our dead pine tree that has been with us since we moved into this house in the late 80's. It was so sad to see the tree go... Jorge's crew arrived at the scheduled time and went straight to work starting with our tree. I watched as they systematically removed all the branches. Then, section by section the worker cut down the trunk. The crew was attentive, safe and efficient with their process. While one chainsaw was being used, the other was being cleaned and refueled. After the tree was more or less cut down, they rolled in the stump grinder and ground down what was left of the stump. They wasted no time. In less than an hour, they moved on to my neighbor's two skinnier trees and cut them down in the same fashion, lastly removing all the thorny rose bushes too. There was debris everywhere! Since they were almost done, I went into the house to grab my checkbook to pay Jorge. When I came out, his grew was gone and all the debris was cleaned up. It was as if nothing had happened. MAGIC. He was professional, gave his input on the trellis and price was reasonable. His team did a wonderful job. From removing the weeds, to pruning the trees and building the box fruit trellis. It took them several hours and glad my yard didn't look like a jungle anymore lol :). Although I have to say, they did forgot to blow the leaves on the side of the house (I forgot to check).
