I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my experience at your dealership this morning. I scheduled a service appointment through the Jeep app for 7:30 a.m. today. After scheduling, I called and was informed by a service representative that I did not actually need an appointment and could simply arrive between 7:00-8:00 a.m. Based on that guidance, I arrived within that timeframe. Upon arrival, I was neither greeted nor acknowledged. The service representative I had spoken with was assisting two other customers, and I waited patiently in the service area for her to return. Instead, I was approached by another employee who informed me that service would take 5 to 7 business days. This was never communicated to me during my call the previous day. When I explained that this information conflicted with what I had been told, the gentleman responded by stating that the service representative "didn't know what she was talking about" and mentioned that he had already written up three service calls that she was unaware of. I expressed that I would simply wait to speak with her directly to properly schedule my visit. He dismissed that as "pointless," walked away, and then spoke with her privately. She never returned to address me. After waiting an additional 5-10 minutes and observing that I was clearly being overlooked, I left feeling unwelcome and extremely disappointed. This experience reflected a serious lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer courtesy. I would appreciate an explanation as to why conflicting information was provided and why I was not properly acknowledged or assisted upon arrival. My 2011 dodge avenger broke down a mile from Westborn Chrysler and I called numerous times over an hour and could not get ahold of a live person. I even used "chat" which gave me a tx number and again voicemail. I finally checked Yelp for a highly rated auto repair shop and they answered the phone immediately and confirmed they will be glad to accept my car from AAA towing. This is an update to a previous review. Westborn had my jeep for 8 days, could not determine the issue, charged me $165 to release my car to me or I could pay them an additional $960 to diagnose the problem. They are either completely incompetent or liars. I know this because upon them releasing my car after paying them $165, I took my Jeep to Auto Tech Clinic less than a mile down the road. It took Auto Tech less than one hour to diagnose, order the part and replace the part. Total charge was $100 after they billed my warranty company. I believe Westborn is both incompetent and liars. I believe after 8 days of holding my car they never looked at it. Auto Tech stated you would have to be "blind and stupid" to not diagnose this issue within 2 minutes. My recommendation is do not use Westborn Jeep for any service. Go down the street to Auto Tech they are professional and honest. Its a shame such unprofessional scammers continue to operate in West Dearborn. read more

I work for Stellantis and took part of the new corporate lease program. I had my truck delivered to Westborn as this was the closest to my house. I've often heard dealerships don't make any real money off of the corporate leases and just serve as the "middle man". With that being said, I went back to the salesman a couple weeks later with a simple question about one of the functions on my truck. The salesman was VERY reluctant to discuss anything about my truck as he said, "I don't get paid to help you". And reluctantly came out when I said it would only take a minute to show you. After quickly looking over the function in question, it was determined he didn't know the answer and couldn't offer any help. So.....with that in mind, not only will I NOT use their dealership to service any of my other Chrysler cars (that's where the real money is) but I will also not have myself or friend/family members purchase or lease any of their vehicles. I have been scratching my head for years as to why this dealership gets only 2 star ratings on yelp. Now I know why. Very sad considering Stellantis is in a sales slump right now too. read more

Worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. The salesman went on and on about how this used ram was in perfect condition and we were getting such a good price. They sat there the salesman and the finance guy and said we had a bumper-to-bumper warranty for two years I asked them to clarify They said it would cover everything but things like brakes and oil changes that is untrue. We have a small warranty. The car is a lemon. We've had to bring it back twice already in a month because the check engine light comes on the salesman's response to me was it's a 2019. You should expect the check engine light to come on. My response to him was we traded in a 2019 with the exact same mileage on it and we have never had a check engine light come on on our car. We are taking the truck to another Chrysler dealership to have them run a diagnostic on it which means we have to pay for that so we can find out everything that is and follow up with our next move. I would never go back to that dealership again, just be careful what they tell you because a lot of it lies. read more

Never Ever go to Westborn Chrysler on Michigan Ave. In Dearborn!!!! They are liars and scam artists! Just had to pay $465 for unnecessary tests, and then they tried to charge us $2100 to only replace a radiator! Now we have to pay even more to have it towed to another mechanic, had to pay to purchase the radiator, and then pay for the labor (which is totally worth it because he is an actual lifesaver and great person) A week and a half with nothing done to the vehicle except a $30 test that I could have done myself at Autozone! All that for them to say yep it's just the radiator! Well that is what we told you in the first place! I was transferring a plate from my old vehicle . My dad had a lease in household that we used for extra money . So somehow they took the plate from his lease and registered it to my Jeep !!!! I went in to have Justin my sales rep fix it. AVOID JUSTIN AT ALL COSTS... SUPER UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! He told me he'd fix it . So i wait for it in the mail, I called back today because I still hadn't received the correction . JUSTIN tells me the state sent it back to them on June 23rd and states they needed my insurance , and that he forgot to contact me !!!! I am driving around and my car is not even registered to the plate I have on it!!!! He told me he's doing his best ... that is literally laughable ! I tell him he's doing terrible and isn't taking things serious enough and he proceeds to tell me that he sees hundreds of ppl daily and has a lot going on.. as if that's some sort of excuse . We came to buy a 2019 car with less than 20k miles and I was lied to by the sales person, car was in bad shape, was supposedly detailed but had all kinds of dirt and crap in the seats and carpets, scuffs and smudges in the paint which they refused to address. I cannot say enough wonderful things about westborn Chrysler! After having a horrible experience at Feldman Chrysler, we decided to drive 40 minutes away to try out a different dealer. They have a lifetime customer now! I will always buy and recommend this dealership now after yesterday. David really went above and beyond to help us. Our Jeep sat at Feldman for 15 days without any communication, they would not answer or respond to our calls. They would not diagnose or even look at our Jeep, let alone give us a rental. We ended up having to pick it up without it even being looked at, no manager would even call us back or answer the phone. They hung up on us 6 times. We called westborn, they got us in immediately, diagnosed our jeep and the repairs done in 1 business day. We missed out on our warranty by 18 days and they tried to submit the cost to Chrysler because they felt bad about our prior situation. Unbelievable, customer service at the service department for a flat tire was the worse , there was one worker tall and white, he was so rude, and negative. I only went to fix my tire, the day before I had a flat tire and I called road service and they switch it to the spare tire. Service department said I will need to come back the next day at 7 am and leave my car for few days and get myself a rental car, which he was sure that enterprise had no rental cars available for me. I told him it's only a flat tire and why is he being negative. He didn't even check or pulled my information to see what and what not I had coverage under my lease . I left Dearborn and went to Livonia where I had theeee excellent service, first thing I was asked was my phone number to pull my account and see what I have coverage on, and there I was told my tire needed replacement, and got fixed on spot that same day. No come back at 7 am or get a two days rental car for a flat tire . Kevin and kelvin were helpful on the phone and at the service desk . Not sure how they got the customer first award because they will not put you as the customer first. Been over 3 weeks to resolve an issue between the body shop and my insurance(progressive). I asked for an estimate when I dropped my vehicle off and related that to my insurance as well. However instead of doing as I asked they began repairs. Now the insurance and dealership are pointing fingers at each other and leaving me the customer in limbo having to be the middleman between them. Manager Ryan agreed that I asked to get an estimate which is an admission of guilt but still wants me to pay out of my pocket what he is owed "To pay his employees" which he told me multiple times. So now I'm out and having to pay his employees for their mistake. Sounds like a great place to take your vehicle?.....Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Okay, so you pay more than 2 times the amount for an oil change here than you would at LaFontaine - the family deal - $9.95. The wait was over 2 hours and there were only 3 people in the waiting room. Dirty, filthy waiting room that definitely needs to be cleaned. Staff was going through the hallway talking really loud about nonsense stuff and stopping by the waiting room to watch the baseball game - fix my car! I was the only one who needed an oil change and they also fixed a recall on my 2012 200. Another person in the waiting room had a 2013 and something was wrong with her transmission--already? There was a man in the waiting room and they had disassembled his car and asked him if they drove him home could he give them a few hours the next day to repair the problem!!!! I mentioned that this is my first and last Chrysler that I will ever purchase due to being treated. Come on Westborn Chrysler what is your problem with customer service? Drive down Telegraph and visit LaFontaine Toyota and see how nice their waiting room is and how respectful they are to customers! I made the mistake this time in not calling for an appointment with LaFontaine who services all makes and models for $9.95, but the glitch is you have to schedule your appointment. So, since I needed an oil change I went to this dealership and paid $26.00 - figure the math 2.5x more! What is up Chrysler???? read more

forged poa, I emailed dealer requesting a copy of poa they used and was told that they did NOT need a poa to complete registration and title they ONLY needed an RD-108 only to find out at my local bmv that there was indeed a poa on file and I clearly could see that the signatures are not mine or my daughters. also seen the title that we supposedly signed those don't match either. 6 months for them to do Michigan title work and another 3 months before it was showing in Ohio. 9months total with no memorandum title AND no one knows where the plates were sent! I'll be calling my state bmv to see where they were mailed seeing that the only address they had on documents is my current one and they didn't come here. there's more to this but highly unprofessional when they only respond to calls where it's their word against yours and the voicemail left implied a return call for an online inquiry for a vehicle I was interested in online, no my inquiry was in regards to records never received seen or signed read more

The service depo is rude. Dave in particular. The barked at me about being 4 minutes late to my 7:00 drop off when clearly the mechanics were not even there yet. He also yelled at me and said "I TOLD YOU WE ARE WORKING ON YOUR CAR" when I called to inquire about how it was coming along. Scott was my salesperson. He's a slime ball. He told me he brought in a vehicle just for me to look at. Funny that I saw this van the week before sitting there. Also the finance department did the ol' bait and switch. Quoted a payment over the phone and then when it came time to sigh, it went up $60 a month. I will go out of my way to avoid this dealer in the future. In looking over all of my reviews, I was surprised to find I had not yet written one for Westborn Chrysler Jeep. I've purchased/leased cars from them for decades and have been more than pleased with my experiences. My most recent visit there was for an oil change and routine inspection. The service area was clean and the staff was helpful, as they always are. The dealership is currently undergoing an expansion and renovation, so things were a little busier than usual, but by no means did it detract from the experience. I then visited with Mike Poupore, the assistant sales manager, who is anything but your stereotypical car salesman. Mike, as he usually does, asked about me and my family, and informed me that I could take advantage of an early lease buyout program being offered on my other vehicle. After looking at my options and reviewing figures, I took him up on it. The next day, I returned to pick up my vehicle, and Mike took the time to point out all the new features I'd need to know. During this entire process, I never felt pressured or strongarmed, and was given options that were to my benefit, should I have chosen to take them. At this point, because of the construction, it can be a tad difficult to navigate the parking lot, but, as always, the trip to Westborn Chrysler Jeep was well worth my time. read more

The absolute worst experiences I have ever had. This dealership is racist/sexist. The first salesman I dealt with before showing me any cars, was already asking me to fill out a credit application and what my credit score was. And he was trying to 'manplain' everything to me. He was rude and disrespect. Would not help unless a credit application was filed out. The initial person I dealt with asked me to come back again and work with her directly because they want my business. I did and it was time wasted. I was pawned off to another salesman. The numbers he provided and the numbers the first salesman provided were significantly differently. I showed him the paper the first salesman gave me with numbers and he tells me he does not know what this is. I explained it is what your co-worker wrote down and provided to me for the specific vehicle we were talking about. He continues to say I do not know what is and this is what I am telling you. My time was wasted again and left. Customer service is not good. I came back inside to speak with the owner and/or manager. The general sales manager says I can come over this side of the sales room at a desk. I asked if we could go somewhere else more private and not in front of other customers to speak and he says rudely, 'no, you can come right here.' I am trying to explain my experiences and how I felt racially profiled and before I could finish my sentence, he interrupts me and says that is not true. We have people of color work here. Again, I try to explain more and he proceeds to say, 'you are just upset because you cannot afraid anything here.' All I am doing is trying to explain my horrible experiences and he was not acting very professional as a general manager. I recently was in a serious accident that totaled my long time vehicle an left me pretty rattled and injured. I was convinced the only thing I could possible afford was another used vehicle doomed to need constant care until Scott Carpenter and one of his associates, Matt, showed me all of my options. I ended up leasing a BEAUTIFUL 2015 Dodge Dart and couldn't be happier with every aspect of my experience. I was not excited about car shopping after my awful accident but they both eased me into the process and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and dealt with all of my in decisions without any pressure. To start off i have bad credit, i got a pre appoval so i called. I got setup with an appointment time. Went in filled out the application for fiancing. they told me banks were closed, that they would call me the next day. Here is it 4 days later, everytime i call to talk to the salesperson i never get to speak with him. I always get his voicemail. Very displeased. My brother is leasing a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from Westborn Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership. He asked me to take it in for service because the horn and the buttons on the back of the steering wheel were not working. Westborn Chrysler would not fix the problem because the air bag was rusted out. Fiat Chrysler refused to fix the problem because of the air bag being rusted out. They are saying that he lelft the tops of in rain storms thereby causing the air bag to rust out. Fiat Chrysler is putting his and whoever drives this vehicle life and others on the road in danger by not fixing the horn and the air bag. This is a Jeep and this vehicle is made to take on rain. He also took this Jeep in for an oil change and was charged for it when he has four (4) free oil changes on this leased vehicle. read more

I leased a brand new JEEP 2017 Grand Cherokee in December. It's only April and the battery has died on me twice after my 12 hour work shifts, sound doesn't work most of the time, and a weird noise out of my rear right wheel that remains unresolved. I only drive it to work and back, no lights are kept on or doors open. I've had it examined twice by the mechanics at the JEEP service center and they keep telling me "we've checked everything-- nothing is wrong." When I originally leased my vehicle from this dealership, I was told and given a coupon that every time I get an oil change from this dealership, I would get a $10 off discount. From there, I only started getting my oil changes from here. As time started going, I began to get an abundant amount of excuses as to why my oil change price keeps going up and why they can't guarantee me my original price I've been paying for the past year. At first, they tell me Covid is the reason but they end up being able to get me the same original price I've been paying. I recently went in and the price went up from $50 to $70. Their excuse was Chrysler raised all the oil prices. I asked ok what about my $10 discount, and their response was "go back to the person who sold you the car and ask them" when I've been a repeating customer for over a year. These people are crooks and don't have any sympathy. I paid the $70. I then received a voicemail from the dealer asking about my service. I called back, asked for a customer service rep as the voicemail instructed me to do and a lady sent me over to someone and after it kept ringing, I got their voicemail. I left them a voicemail and it's been over a week with no one calling me back. Never will I even go to this place nor will I recommend it. I should've known this was the wrong place when I went back 3 months after I bought the car to thank my salesman and they didn't even remember my face or nothing. I looked like a complete idiot and stranger. Everyone is just a number to this place. If I could give this Dearlership a Zero, I would. My Son had a Leased Charger Scat Pack, he wanted a Challenger Hell Cat. He was referred by a friend to talk to Salesman Matt. My Son Challenger Hell Cat was ordered an arrived on 6-20-2018. My Son and I were told before he put down $1000 for a Down payment and another $1000 to start the ordering process that the remainder of his Lease with the Charger Scat Pack would be paid off and he would receive the other $1000 back. One week and Half later, we got a Billing Statement from Ally saying, my Son Scat Pack was turned in Early and have a balance close to $2700 owed. I called Jeff Reckly Finance Manager for 3 weeks every other day, with no return phone call. I called 7-25-2018 from an unknown number and he answered. Jeff Basically dismissed me, saying he's not paying the Scat Pack off. I called Matt who didn't give a Damn either. I'm taking this Further up the Ladder. I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of. read more
