However, my car had "excess wear and use": the hood and grill were damaged. It was suggested that I take the car to LaFontaine to be appraised and to find out the repair cost. My intent was to make the necessary repairs and re-lease in 90 days. The sales person took my car to Service to be appraised for damages but Instead of properly advising me of the cost--he proceeded to lease me a 2026 Seltos. Therefore, I'm left believing they were either covering the cost or rolling the repair charges into the purchase of the 2026. So I left a $3500.00 downpayment. A month later, I received a bill from KIA Finance for $1456.64. If the sales person and his manager had properly advised me, I could have taken care of the cost and re-leased in 90 days. They wanted my low mileage car so bad until they misled me in order to procure a sale. I will be taking this up with the A.G.

I scheduled a service appointment online regarding an extra spare key and programming. The next day, Marissa from the service department called to discuss the issue. During that call, I explained the situation and she told me I could drop the vehicle off after hours if needed. At no point during that conversation was any diagnostic fee mentioned. After I dropped off the vehicle, Marissa later called me with a quote of $600 for a spare key and programming--$300 for the key and $300 for labor. I felt this price was extremely high, especially considering I was able to have the exact same service completed at another Ford dealership for $295 total. When I told her I would not be proceeding with the service and that I would come pick up my vehicle, I was surprised to learn that she refused to release my car unless I paid a $175 diagnostic fee. She claimed this fee had been discussed previously, which was not accurate. The only reason my vehicle was eventually released was because I requested to speak with a manager and mentioned that the phone conversation could be reviewed to confirm that no such fee had been explained. This experience felt very unprofessional and concerning. I believe the dealership ownership or partners may not be aware of how customers are being treated or how pricing is being handled within the service department. Transparency, fair pricing, and clear communication should be standard when dealing with customers. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would encourage others to carefully confirm pricing and policies before leaving their vehicle with this service department

Of course it shocked me, but Ms. Clark said don't look at the bottom numbers. That's the total amount for the service that is due because of the 44,000 miles on the odometer. The brake repair is only $1561.60. I asked why replacing the front pads and rotor resurfacing was so expensive. Candice informed me that they #1, don't resurface rotors, they only replace them (how convenient). And #2, they don't just do the front, they do the rear as well (again convenient). That was enough for me. I said "Pull the car around, I'm out of here". 10 minutes later, she came back and told me that I could just have front brakes done but it was still going to cost $649.85 because they won't resurface the rotors.. Ms. Clark's vibe was condescending, disrespectful and unethical. This is where I take my car for everything. Oil changes, tire rotation, regular maintenance but apparently that doesn't matter. I don't drive a new Cadillac only a 2017 Equinox.

I dropped off my car for service, only to be told to just "throw the keys in the drop box" while staff stood inside. I was left waiting over a week for answers, only to learn the car supposedly needed $12k in repairs. Then I was offered just $500 for trade-in value -- a slap in the face. When I mentioned possibly buying a new Nissan Juke, they didn't even give me a business card, treating me like I couldn't afford it. On a second visit, their rep even told me to drive my unsafe car off the lot and "sell it on Facebook." Completely reckless advice. When I stood my ground, they made me come back a third time with my title, making the process as painful as possible. Meanwhile, their staff lied in follow-ups, claiming they only met me once. I have proof I was there multiple times. Worse, I am a combat veteran living with PTSD. Phone calls are a medical trigger, and I made it clear I needed communication by email only. Nissan Consumer Affairs and this dealership ignored that reasonable ADA accommodation request, continuing to call and text me instead of respecting federal law. A formal complaint has already been filed with the U.S. DOJ, and the MDCR will be next. To top it off, I even got a text asking me to change or remove my review -- showing their real priority is protecting their reputation, not fixing how they treat customers. This entire ordeal has been disrespectful, unsafe, and discriminatory. After two Nissans, I was ready to buy a third -- but not anymore. The one-star review stays.

Black top and interior and the paint job was a beautiful turquoise green. It became my hand me down car when in high school. Loved it! Easily had over 120,000 miles on it. Later on I bought another '68 Mustang with a 302 engine and cool blue color. They don't make cars like these anymore. Windows down, cruising the streets, roar of the engine, blasting 80's metal, hanging out with friends and picking up the sexy ladies. Good times for sure. Muscle cars were the best. Nowadays Ford and other car companies have all developed the same generic look. The leadership and management has been pretty lame over the past decade, and the quality has faltered. Still, thank you Ford for making my youth, high school, and decade after it such a fun time. I miss those cars.

I like that Ford Motor Company is an American automobile manufacturer! That makes me want to chant:…read more"USA! USA! USA!" And, of course, we all have heard of and know about Henry Ford! He was only 39 years old when he founded Ford Motor Company - that's impressive! Remember the famous low speed Ford Bronco "chase?" I do! We had a Ford Motor Company small SUV. It was an Escape, described as a "compact SUV that offers a multitude of drivetrain options" and "ready for adventure!" Wiki notes that Ford Escape is "Ford's first SUB derived from a car platform" - whatever that means. In my opinion, there was nothing sexy about our Ford Escape; however, I think it was the first SUV we had and I did enjoy having that body style and eventually went to an SUV for me. It looks like Ford Motor Company is discontinuing the Escape after the current model year, 2026. Over time, the Escape has been through several recalls for risk of engine fires. Hmmmmm, that's not cool! We had a Pinto when I was growing up. I would call the Pinto a "birth control" car - talk about an unsexy vehicle! Also, it was poorly designed as the Pinto's design positioned its fuel tank between the solid live rear axle and the rear bumper, which was a standard practice in U.S. subcompact cars at the time. The Pinto's vulnerability to fuel leakage and fire in a rear-end collision was exacerbated by reduced rear "crush space," a lack of structural reinforcement in the rear. Meaning, the Pinto was a fire hazard. This was during the time of the Yugo, who had an unofficial motto of "one hit and you go." Ford thanks for being American made, and thanks for the Escape which was infinitely better than the Pinto of yesteryear!
