Upon entering the facility, I was warmly greeted by an employee who asked me how she could help me. I told her that I had a list of cars I wanted to look at. She took a look at the list and said, "Well, if you walk around, I'm sure you'll find some of them." She didn't even seem to understand the codes they use on their website to identify the cars. I asked, "Can I test drive any of these?" If you're going to lay down $$$ on a classic car, you want to hear it start, run, and you want to put it on the road! This isn't listed ANYWHERE on their website, but they DO NOT allow you to test drive the car! The employee talked to one of her cohorts who said "Oh, with a deposit we can do it." Further research on Reddit revealed that you have to put down at least $1000 to have someone else test-drive the car. They don't have a facility to let you get it up on a lift to inspect the undercarriage. I finally decided I wanted to check out one of the cars, a Mach 1 Mustang, so sought out the employee who had greeted me. She couldn't be bothered to get off her phone, so another employee intervened. When I sat inside the car, I attempted to make sure the knobs and buttons actually moved on the center console. "Ma'am, please don't touch the buttons or knobs." "I'm sorry?" "Well, that's not our car." I have the cash on hand to buy nearly any car in that showroom. I certainly won't be spending it there.

Of course it shocked me, but Ms. Clark said don't look at the bottom numbers. That's the total amount for the service that is due because of the 44,000 miles on the odometer. The brake repair is only $1561.60. I asked why replacing the front pads and rotor resurfacing was so expensive. Candice informed me that they #1, don't resurface rotors, they only replace them (how convenient). And #2, they don't just do the front, they do the rear as well (again convenient). That was enough for me. I said "Pull the car around, I'm out of here". 10 minutes later, she came back and told me that I could just have front brakes done but it was still going to cost $649.85 because they won't resurface the rotors.. Ms. Clark's vibe was condescending, disrespectful and unethical. This is where I take my car for everything. Oil changes, tire rotation, regular maintenance but apparently that doesn't matter. However, my car had "excess wear and use": the hood and grill were damaged. It was suggested that I take the car to LaFontaine to be appraised and to find out the repair cost. My intent was to make the necessary repairs and re-lease in 90 days. The sales person took my car to Service to be appraised for damages but Instead of properly advising me of the cost--he proceeded to lease me a 2026 Seltos. Therefore, I'm left believing they were either covering the cost or rolling the repair charges into the purchase of the 2026. So I left a $3500.00 downpayment. A month later, I received a bill from KIA Finance for $1456.64. If the sales person and his manager had properly advised me, I could have taken care of the cost and re-leased in 90 days. They wanted my low mileage car so bad until they misled me in order to procure a sale. I will be taking this up with the A.G.

I scheduled a service appointment online regarding an extra spare key and programming. The next day, Marissa from the service department called to discuss the issue. During that call, I explained the situation and she told me I could drop the vehicle off after hours if needed. At no point during that conversation was any diagnostic fee mentioned. After I dropped off the vehicle, Marissa later called me with a quote of $600 for a spare key and programming--$300 for the key and $300 for labor. I felt this price was extremely high, especially considering I was able to have the exact same service completed at another Ford dealership for $295 total. When I told her I would not be proceeding with the service and that I would come pick up my vehicle, I was surprised to learn that she refused to release my car unless I paid a $175 diagnostic fee. She claimed this fee had been discussed previously, which was not accurate. The only reason my vehicle was eventually released was because I requested to speak with a manager and mentioned that the phone conversation could be reviewed to confirm that no such fee had been explained. This experience felt very unprofessional and concerning. I believe the dealership ownership or partners may not be aware of how customers are being treated or how pricing is being handled within the service department. Transparency, fair pricing, and clear communication should be standard when dealing with customers. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would encourage others to carefully confirm pricing and policies before leaving their vehicle with this service department

I live in NC so when I located the car I had searched the internet for (color/gadgets/miles/price point) on their lot, I proceeded with caution as I gathered as much information as I could. I spoke with Joe the first time I called and he was very straightforward, matter of fact, and to the point. This was a plus but not enough to win my confidence. We agreed on a price and I must have called them 3 more times to flesh out questions I had as I thought of them. Each time they patiently answered my questions and helped me problem solve to overcome the challenges of a cross country purchase. When all was said and done, I got the car I wanted for the price we agreed on and not a penny more. The transaction was as straightforward as Joe was the first time we talked. I flew up to Detroit earlier than expected to expedite the purchase so the car was a little dusty when I showed up, but Joe hooked me up with some pocket change to get a nice car wash before hitting the road back to NC. A small gesture but it was consistent with the kind of customer service I'd been receiving from them long before they could tell if I was a serious buyer. Although I would advise any consumer to proceed with caution whenever buying a new/used vehicle, my experience with Sky Auto sales was an unexpected and refreshing reminder that legitimate businesses run by honest businessmen still do exist. If you look up their reviews on google, they have a ridiculously high rating, and again, I was skeptical about that at first, but I've come to realize that these guys do right and have earned every last 5 star review they've received. Great work Joe & Fred, thanks for a great buying experience.

On Sunday I messaged Paul for a breakdown and out the door price of the car I was interested in. He was not in office so he said he will send it as soon as he got in. I asked for an update around 10am on Monday, got approved for my loan and deep cleaned my car top to bottom, inside and out, filled up my tank as I was going to do a trade and decided to just make the 2 hour trip there because I was not getting messaged back and I wanted this car before someone else got it! At 2:10, I finally made it to the dealership and Paul messaged back showing me the OTD Price of the car was $30,029, perfect! They took a look at my trade in and decided it was worth only $6,500 as it was in a cash before and repaired but not in the carfax. They couldn't provide me the proof it was in a crash but I knew what they were talking about with the panels not aligning perfectly. THEY ARE SELLING MY $6,500 CRASHED TRADE IN FOR $12,250 on their website because it was in amazing condition. I had Paul test drive for me, he pointed out we needed to put gas in the car and STILL DETAIL. He said the detailers have been procrastinating but they would fix it up before I take it. Mind you the car was on the lot for 30 days so why was it never done? Overall the car was great and I wanted it. I loved it. They said the OTD price was now $37,000. $7000 more than what he texted me even after my $6,500 trade in was added. I got the price down to $34,000 without all the add ons. Paul wanted to see if their financing partners would offer better deals that my already pre approved loan that I wanted, I said okay because a better deal is a better deal. They then picked my financier without asking me who I wanted to go through because their partners MATCHED the rate, they didn't offer anything better. I had to ask Frank, who I paid my down payment to for who I was financed through... (They almost had me leave without doing my down payment. They did let me leave without setting up car insurance...) I now have to refinance my car through my choice of credit union again because they picked for me. Frank was also aggressive with the car warranty as I didn't want it because my car insurance provider already provides me the same services, he tried telling me they don't. I felt dumb looking for him in the dealership to tell him I wasn't interested, I feel he was talking about my choices to his coworkers who were all on their phones and or going to vape in the glass rooms behind the sales desks. The salesman Donovan, when the sun is setting your reflection will reflect through all of the glass windows, giving me a clear view of you vaping and on your phone. I was finally leaving the dealership at 7pm I found the car WAS NEVER DETAILED as it was dirty on the inside and old shopping receipts were in the truck from North Carolina nor filled up with gas. The windshield was also cracked and I had no windshield washer fluid meaning it will also need new oil and basic maintenance that the dealership should have BEFORE you ever list it for sale. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, love my car though.

First, a huge thank you to Luis, who helped me secure a fantastic deal on my Honda CR-V Hybrid when I traded in my Ford Escape. The service department has also been exceptional. Their customer service is outstanding, everything is handled professionally, and repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner. They have never let me down. One example that stands out is when I had an issue with a tire that seemed to attract every nail and piece of construction debris imaginable. Even though they were fully booked and had no available appointments, the team found a way to fit me in. I expected to leave my car overnight, but instead they had it ready for me just a few hours later. I sent the below to Google:…read more I found La Fontaine Honda in Dearborn, MI to be one of my best choices in life for a great deal and excellent customer service. I've been a top salesperson in Retail, and a high performing auditor and sales producer for a top trillion dollar company. I had been retired less than a month when I got to know my very kind and professional salesman Vinny and Finance Manager Calvin ( the Sales Manager Mike was great as well). I had been driving multiple company SUVs an average of 3500 miles per month over the past 9 years, and though I was pretty sure that I wanted to buy an SUV, it was like starting over with the stress of researching all the different makers and models and financing options. Vinny was the first person at LaFontaine Honda to approach me with a smile and hand extended. He was not high pressure, but with a calm, genuinely off-script demeanor showed me that he wanted a mutually successful family-like experience. I had talked with several relatives that have leased SUVs for years, and with Vinny's guidance, facts and figures of used vs new, and leasing new, Vinny presented me with a Family Deal to lease my dream SUV, a 2026 Honda CR V Hybrid TrailSport. The SUV had 5 miles, a light urban gray body with all- terrain tires, sunroof and all the bells and whistles at a great lease monthly payment and residual value. Finally, I had the pleasure to work with the charismatic, kind, most personable Finance Manager Calvin . He knew my budget and helped me stay within it, but knowing the roads in Michigan he gently encouraged me to follow Vinny's advice and he gave me a great deal on the Wheel and Tires Hazard Warranty for the length of the lease at a great price! In closing, the next day after the deal, I researched my deal with the help of AI. AI said that I received an excellent deal. More importantly, I left LaFontaine with a great SUV, sold by a great team that I could feel good about and would refer to my family and friends.
