I love the trainers, the times, the workouts, the staff, and the other members. It's a super welcoming environment and the trainers always show you a modification. With anything in life, you get what you put in. So if you show up consistently and make an effort to know others, you'll end up building a wonderful and healthy community for yourself! I remember one my first classes the trainer Lauren showed us how to do a pull up on the rig. I said HA YEAH RIGHT CAN'T DO THAT, and Lauren immediately said "yes you can" and stayed with me to help me through it. Guess who doesn't need help anymore? ME! If you're not sure, just try it out. I didn't grow up playing sports, and every time I tried something new, it only lasted a short while. My sister-in-law had been a member in Georgia for years, and when Burn finally opened in Connecticut, I signed up during a promo. I've been there ever since!!! This May, I'll be celebrating two years as a proud Burn Danbury member! The trainers are incredible. They push me, encourage me, and believe in me -- sometimes even more than I believe in myself. They know what I'm capable of and motivate me to reach it. They are my inspiration, they are my accountability partners, they are friends. The people are just as amazing. Moms like me, married couples, dads, college students, high school students, retirees -- all working hard to be a better version of themselves. We live off high fives as we move from station to station and we leave every single camp sweaty, spent, and SO happy we showed up! One of the biggest bonuses for so many of us is the free childcare included with membership. On Saturdays, my husband and I get to work out together without worrying about taking turns so someone is watching the kids. He joined a month after I did -- also not a "gym person." Now, in our 40s, we are in better shape than we've ever been. What truly sets Burn apart, though, is the community. The friendships we've built over the past two years extend beyond camp. We stay after to do "just one more" exercise challenge together, we care about each other's goals, we cheer each other on to hit personal records, we even meet up monthly to hang out and get to know each other off the gym floor. Throughout the pandemic the owners have been adjusting by making classes available live online to continue to not only stay connected to their clients but offer us a safe way to workout and be healthy. Now that things have started to open both virtual and in studio are available which is a new fun experience as those that feel safer home are able to interact live with the instructor and in studio participants during class! I recommend this studio to anyone who wants a more personal experience working out. I've belonged to large gyms before where you really are just a number. Here they know you by name and answer any questions you have right away. You feel included. Not to mention the classes are fantastic! Zumba. Piloxing. Barre, Yoga, Toning classes and so much more! This place has everything you need and then some to hit your goals- especially with all new equipment! They have showers, free weights, squat area, treadmills, cycling, rowing machine, and more. They have things I never even used in a gym before. What more do you need? This place is where I come to get away. I feel comfortable and welcomed. I love how there are many familiar faces in the gym, where it feels like I am part of a community and not just some large corporate owned place. The routine was clear, the music was bumpin, and he was very helpful making sure the exercises were done right and you were using the proper weights for your skill set. Location wise this is not possible to join BUT if I were closer it would be an obvious sign up. The facility was spacious, comfortable, good equipment, and a small shopping area. I was able to repeat a few routines in future workouts which is always great. I strongly suggest if you can to try it out and join. That workout was intense and through, and even though I was obviously the new girl the class was very welcoming in general.

They have FREE child care when you have a full membership. The owners are very nice & so is the staff. Kelechi is the trainer and he is absolutely awesome. He is very motivating and makes you want to go to class. There are plenty of class 6 days per week. This is a definite musttttt!
