Although F 45 consists of group classes, there is leeway in taking things at your own pace, as well as with modifications of certain exercises. It's also a huge help to have the exercises continuously demonstrated on video monitors throughout the room. I look forward to continuing on at F45 Mount Kisco!

The owner Frank is a gem, from day 1 he and his wife have always been supportive and always over deliver to their members. This gym is a place where people of all ages, fitness levels and body types get together to workout. I love the attitude and support of the community. I remember my first few months just wanting to stick to myself and get in and get out but it's just impossible! The staff is super helpful, friendly and they really genuinely make you believe that anyone can do it! But not in just a pipe dream but reality. I used to run a 14 minute mile in now down to under 9! If you have seen a Crossfit video, meme, joke and roll your eyes at the thought of Crossfit and the "Bro" culture that comes it it don't worry this place is not that. Your client and my friend is as sweet a person as you will ever come across. She is so happy and I'm so happy for her. I'm a dedicated athlete, have worked out at many gyms, have a personal trainer come to my place 2x/wk to kick my butt and compete on tennis court at high level with guys 25-40 years younger than me so I appreciate what health and wellness is all about! If something does break down, it's fixed almost immediately, which is rare in most gyms. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful, greeting you with a smile and happy to assist if you need anything. But what really sets this gym apart is the cleanliness. For a Planet Fitness--or honestly, any gym--this place is incredibly clean. The staff is constantly walking around cleaning, wiping down machines, and organizing weights. That level of attention to detail really surprised me in the best way. They clearly take pride in keeping the facility looking great, and it shows. While it's a nice enough spot and the setting is scenic, the pictures floating around don't quite tell the full story. Yes, it's spring-fed and chemical-free, which gives it more of a forest pond feel than a traditional pool. That might be a plus for some people, but there are downsides. The water feels heavier than a normal pool, and there's no true shallow end--so treading water for long stretches can get tiring. If you go, I'd honestly recommend bringing a float to hang out more comfortably in the water. The facilities are basic. There are very few pool chairs--mostly just park benches scattered around a small paved deck. Seating is limited, and it was hard to find a place to set up. I'd recommend bringing your own beach chair if you have one. There are plenty of picnic tables farther back from the pool, which I assume is their way of keeping food out of the swim area. We arrived around 3 PM and that timing was probably my biggest gripe. The parking lot was full, so we had to find a random lot down the road and then walk back and hunt for the entrance. Not the easiest arrival. The $20 day pass would be fine if the setup matched the price, but for what it is, it felt a little steep. Also worth noting--cell service is spotty, and while they say there's Wi-Fi, it didn't work well for us. Overall, it's not a bad experience, but it didn't quite live up to the online buzz. If you go in with the right expectations (and a float, a chair, and some patience), you'll probably enjoy it more than we did.

Highlights of the trail are Sam's point, Ice cave and lastly Verkeerderkill falls. At Sam's point there are dramatic overlooks and spectacular cliff views, A photographer's paradise. Ice cave was amazing, we had to go through some crevices, my headlamp was very useful at those dark areas and footpath, I noticed remnants of ice inside even at the start of summer (that's when I did the hike), did a little rock scrambling outside the cave, there was an extraordinary ridge overlook at the end of the cave and a fantastic view from a large rock outcrop. The most challenging and strenuous part was the hike from the Ice cave to Verkeerderkill Falls - rocky, narrow, lengthy, uneven, wet, slippery, stream-like path, trekking poles and waterproof hiking boots was a big help to endure the trail. Verkeerderkill falls is a spectacle to see, there are a few ridges, escarpment, and ledge spots (somewhat perilous as all were near the drop-off) to rest and view the falls (I found a good spot facing the falls while hydrating, snacking and replenishing my energy). A solid day's workout, this is everything I could ask for from a great recreational, adventurous, stimulating hike with mother nature.

The hike to the waterfall is long so pack a lot of water. Also if it didn't rain before , the waterfall will be very light. In general it's a perfect place to connect with nature and cool down inside the ice caves. P.s. you still can see big chunks of ice deep down in the caves.
