I appreciated the fact that they had LIVE plants everywhere, not plastic! :)

I have mixed feelings about our stay here, I'd say the service is excellent but some other things were a bit problematic. When we arrived our fridge wasn't working (an engineer came within 5 minutes & fixed it - so excellent prompt service). Our tv wasn't working either but we managed to fix it ourselves (we finally just restarted it). Everyone here is really attentive & worked really hard to make our stay pleasant. But the room was very basic & the all-grey decor upstairs is really drab. The hotel does come with its own golf course. It's also in a great location with plenty of restaurants, shopping & movies within walking distance. The restaurant in the hotel (Jute) is also pretty good. We enjoyed our breakfast there.

Hotel seems in good condition and well kept. We visited the pool. Sadly there were ducks that joined and frequently were in the pool. I worry about the hygiene of this but understand the hotel is doing their best. There are cabanas but the bars across the top defeat the purpose of tanning. There is no pool service. If you want anything to eat or drink, you'll take the elevator or stairs. Plenty of chaises to use.

Great customer service here! Nice and quiet location too! Amenities here include a golf course, pickle ball court, fitness center, swimming pool, meeting rooms, outdoor fireplace, bicycle rental, bar and restaurant! The rooms themselves are equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator, 55 inch flat screen TV, sofa seat, full length mirror and a small round wooden table! There is a CVS pharmacy, Bristol farms store, a 24 hour fitness center and restaurants nearby! Only issues here are: $100 deposit required at check in! Hotel charges $30 destination fee as well! Check in time is at 4pm! NO laundry room! NO microwave in the rooms

In 2018, the Westdrift hotel opened near the bordering town of El Segundo in Manhattan beach. This hotel is approximately 4 miles from the LAX airport and many stores and restaurants are nearby to enjoy. Plus Manhattan beach is a short jaunt away-closest beach is approximately one mile away. The hotel is nestled among a small golf course. The hotel features a coastal vibe with resort amenities! This hotel is a makeover from its former hotel ownership. The lobby is expansive, modern and coastal. The lobby features a relatively small bar in comparison to the hotel and lobby size. Our room was lovely- we received an upgraded room- we had a nice junior suite that was quite expansive. The room featured an extensive balcony with two doors to the balcony. We also had a separate living area from the bedroom that had a dining table. The room also featured two TVs. An opportunity for this hotel room is to improve on the bathroom. The bathroom was very small and a bit tight. The shower temperature control was broken too- it slide around when tuning in the proper temperature. The bathroom makeover shows- as the vanity was rough- needs to be replace or redone. The bathroom was also slightly dirty- there was hair on the counter- this grosses me out to see somebody else hair on the counter. Also, the room is not soundproof- we were woken up by our neighbor coughing and then by the sound of a hair dryer. Not how you want to wake up on a Saturday morning. Lastly as Bonvoy members we were disappointed with the welcome when checking in. We were never greeted or presented with offers- such as points, breakfast credit, etc for being titanium members. Given our status level, we thought a greeting would be nice!

The highlight of the hotel is the vast lobby and the back patio. The back patio looks out to a golf course, lined with palm trees. Lots of spacious seating, a pickleball court, and a pool with cabanas that you can rent. The lobby is tall and airy with lots of natural light. The rooms themselves are meh. There's no desk to work from, just a small stool/table and the bathroom doesn't look any different from your run of the mill Marriott Courtyard - I guess that's where you get reminded that you're in a Marriott property. The location is good with many great places to eat within walking distance.

I never would have guessed that this was a hotel. At first glance it looks like a fancy business building. The entrance is grand and beautiful. There is a round-about at th front with a beautiful fountain. Valet service is $53. I'm not sure how much self parking is. My family and I utilized the handicapped parking for 2 people in our party. So, we self parked and were graciously not charged. The lobby is beautiful and is so spacious. There are a few little sitting areas throughout the lobby. One is towards the front and has a few computers available in their business center for printing, faxing and that sort of thing. Another sitting area is just inside the main doors. I had my little one sit there while I checked in. She sat so comfortably playing with her doll. The wait to check in was very short and the girls at the desk were so sweet. I'd tried to call the hotel a day before our arrival to make our request and preference for a room close to the elevator known, because of the 2 handicapped individuals in our party. The person I spoke with had let me know that notations for that request had been put into the system and that It would be no problem. Of course when we arrived, that room had been given away. It was quite unfortunate. She did her best to try and find us another solution. The one we settled for made things quite difficult for us because of the long walk but sometimes there just isn't anything that you can do. It really was too bad things didn't work out. There are some kid friendly spots in the lobby. They have a football table. They also have shuffleboard and other small board games. It was nice to see families enjoying time together, sharing appetizers and drinks while playing games with the kids. It was nice to see kids from different families playing with one another too. You could tell this was just a really nice, welcoming, friendly environment. The rooms are spacious and there is a consistent under water (swimming/aquatics) theme throughout the hotel. A lot of the art work has to do with swimming, diving, the elements and movement of water. It's calming. Speaking of calming, the pool deck is very cute as well. The deck is very clean. Towels are readily available upon entrance. The used towel receptacles are neat and not over flowing. Cabana spaces were available for rent. There were plenty of chairs. The hotel has its own 9-hole course. Leave your heavy bag at home. You'll just need your irons. The course is small but is a fun little number. I believe the daily rate is discounted for those staying at the hotel. I think it was $15 instead of $28. You can't complain about that. I was golfing as a participant of a charity golf tournament. It was a ton of fun. The way that the hotel had things set up for us was spectacular. We had some fun events and lots of extras. Lunch and dinner service were wonderful. I really enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes and their chicken. I also like their vegetable medley: squash, zucchini, and broccoli. Staff were on top of it when it came to clearing plates and utensils. They were very accommodating of my little one. The facilities throughout the hotel were sparkling clean. Everything was just so nice. I had no idea that there was the Manhattan Village just 2 blocks away. It is the cutest little outdoor shopping and dining area. There are stores like Macy's, Johnny Was, Alo, Wilson, Apple, and so many more here. Some of the food places include silver lake ramen, CPK, Handel's ice cream, sidecar donuts, smash burger, etc. there is something for everyone here. This reminded me of a beach-vibe sort of Americana or the Grove. This hotel is so perfectly located to this area. It is easily within walking distance. You can ask the employees at the hotel for their suggestions. They can give you lots. They are so sweet and so helpful. One of the gentlemen that works in the front, we brought him a pizza from CPK to thank him for his help and his many suggestions. He was great. I would definitely recommend the rooms that have the balcony. Our view was of the golf course, the lush trees and one of the water hazards which looks like a lake. Early one morning I saw an egret fly over the water. it was so beautiful. Even if you don't' spend much time or any time even on the balcony, having the fresh air come in is so nice. This hotel is a real gem. Oh and, here's a little secret. . . if you've forgotten some small toiletries on your trip, there is a good chance that the front desk might be able to help you out with that (shower cap, razor, toothbrush, etc.). Now that is some serious service! This is also the big difference in staying at a Marriott Autograph Collection property. definite 5 stars!!!

Great location. Great ambiance. Amazing staff. Only had breakfast, but it was delicious and being able to sit out on the deck overlooking the gold course made for a wonderful breakfast on a warm and sunny day. The grounds are amazing and perfect for business travel or a weekend getaway. The gym facilities are well appointed with all the right gear. Will definitely be back. And again, the staff was great at check in, very helpful, and gave great Titanium service.

Quiet large style boutique Hotel formerly the Manhattan Beach Marriott, has all the amenities you would expect. Destination fee of $35 covers 2 alcoholic beverages or smoothies from golf course bar. Rooms have balconies and bathrobes and slippers. I will be back the place has a good business casual vibe.

Golf course view

The setting is convenient near a mall and a golf course. The hotels has been remodeled. The lobby is an open welcoming spot where guests can hang out, order food and play some games they have out. There is a bar in the middle of the lobby and it seconds as a coffee shop in the morning. I cannot stress how helpful, happy, business like all of the staff is at this location. All the places I've stayed in California. The staff at this hotel are the nicest I've encountered since before the pandemic. On the downside because this is an old hotel, can hear everything that goes on in the room next-door I mean everything. If your boss, or wife or neighbor is in the next room, be careful what you say. I highly recommend this hotel because of its convenience, remodel, and most of all the staff.

Dark, rich, not overdone. These brewmaster know what they are doing behind the bar... that is for sure. The real surprise though? They've got this back area that is just kind of charming. Good vibe, the kind of spot where you lose track of time without trying too hard. California has no shortage of breweries competing for your attention and your wallet... Five Points earns it. Solid pour, solid spot. Good location for my lax layovers I'll be back.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers there. We tried some of the pizza that they had. My only complaint is that they are frozen and one of them wasn't in long enough. Other than that, they were tasty and affordable. The ambience is your standard industrial warehouse beer venue. It's not going to knock your socks off, but it does the job. There was a guy selling espresso drinks out of a little fiat car outside which I thought was kind of cool for people that don't drink. I don't know why those people would be at a brewery, but hey, I'm sure they were glad he was there also. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

What better place to have a book club meeting than at a brewery?! Haha…read more My girls and I absolutely loved common place; such a vibe with such good music and energy! There's plenty of seating and I can imagine during this time (World Cup season) this place gets so packed and fun in the best way. The service was great. We had a lot of questions about the drinks. We were recommended a flight if we were unsure which you can customize; I definitely recommend this if it's your first time so you can try a little bit of everything. They had a vendor selling tacos, burritos and other Mexican style items which were absolutely delicious and with the drinks it was a perfect combo! I'm not sure if they change that side vendor or if they are a semi permanent partner with them, but I love that they offer small businesses an opportunity to sell their foods. I was told that they used to be located in a different area or accessing brewery was through another area so pay attention to signs, especially for their nearby parking. Although we had no issues finding this space! To end our fabulous book club meeting, we of course, had to take our festivities to the Photo Booth. Such a fun and cute little touch too and already cute place. I loved it and I hope I can catch one of the World Cup games here!

We were here 30 minutes after this place opened and after circling around we were told to park next to the adjacent building. I did try my friend's beers here and after 15 minutes we left. We didnt want to wait in line again for the lack of choices.
