Spend your money elsewhere. Bought a car here in January and shortly after I took it to my mechanic. They asked me who safetied it and I told them Westend. My mechanic told me there were holes in the manifold and it shouldn't have passed the safety. They said other work had been done and it looked slapped together. Westend was condescending when I took it back in for them to fix. They also insisted I pay for the parts even though I'd had the car less than a month. They told me they'd have to source parts that could take a month to get in but they'd try to find used parts so the wait wouldn't be so long...it's now been a month and I've never heard back from them with any updates. In the meantime I already got it fixed by my mechanic (who sourced the parts within an hour) because I lost all trust that Westend would even fix it properly. When we bought the car, the price was non-negotiable but they said they'd make up for that on the service end before we picked it up and make sure the car was in great condition. They clearly didn't do anything. They didn't even put in basics like car mats and I had to fill up the gas tank to make it home. I would never buy here again. read more

Buyer beware is all I can say!!! This dealership is completely bogus and I will be putting in a formal complaint with the ministry. Purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruz for my stepdaughter April 2022, picked up May 2022 and it has been nothing but problem after problem after problem, including her being stranding on the 401 with engine oil spewing out all over the place ($850 tow back to town). This car has gone back to the dealership at least once a week since we got it. Everytime they claim to fix something and send us on our way , only to return again for "something" else. Called today to ask for a copy of all the paperwork they have on the services done and guess what?!?!?! THEY DON'T KEEP A PAPER TRAIL OF THE WORK THEY DO ON THEIR CARS!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?! How in God's name can this be legal????? They are doing bogus safeties there and putting peoples lives in danger by doing so! We have even asked to return the car and their response was, sorry we don't do that!!!! read more

Bought a Dodge SRT and when I drove it off the lot 3kms began chugging and revving then eventually the belts start screaming and it stalled out. After numerous attempts, had their service dept look at it a few times they could not find a single thing wrong. When I showed them that you can not run more than 2 electrical features at a time without it chugging, revving, scream and stalling, they shrugged their shoulders and LITERALLY told me "We don't make them, just try to sell them." So now I'm stuck with a car that I can only run two features at a time. I have my choice though - I can pick heat, head lights, stereo, AC, power windows, power sun roof, wipers, rear defrost.... But I can only pick two at a time. If I'm driving at night and have the head lights on, I have to turn off the heat to roll down my window.... and if it's night and cold AND raining - I can't even drive it. I can't use head lights, heat AND wipers. My advice? No matter how pretty or how much of a great deal - run far and away from these guys!!! (And gal!) read more

i think this car sales shop lacks ethics and professionalism. They had a car listed for 15000 and they advertised it on kijiji and on their website for over a month at that price without selling. Then as soon as i expressed interest in buying it, and was negotiating my trade in with both their sales person and their owner, they went online and put the advertised price up by 2000 to make it 17000. Shouldn't their price be based on their cost and expected profit margin? and shouldn't they honor the price they advertise for a long time? I think they are just opportunistic and motivated by greed. I would never deal with them and do not recommend dealing with this shop for anyone. read more

I got the impression, she was a take no sht, KNOW HER stuff type of woman who wasn't gonna mess around and initially I liked that. Seriously, I got the impression she had good character. So I let her know I was interested in BOTH a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee AND the 2017 Jeep Sahara Wrangler. I asked if I could test drive them. She said ya yaaa sure noooo problem sure. Just let me go get the keys. I was happy NO PROBS this far. She came back out and said, just let me back them out so you can test drive them. I said alright no problem. She backed 1 out, the Wrangler. Then she got out and we were standing there. She said, quote; ''Just to let you know, I'm actually NOT going to let you test drive either vehicle today.'' I said WHAAAAAT?! She said, Yaaaa, I'm not gonna let you test drive either vehicle today. I saidddd, uhhhh are you serious?! I thought maybe there was some logical reason. But, I was a little upset. So many thing's going through my head. I laughed out loud. I said, you realize you just told a SERIOUS possible customer who IS interested and DOES have money, that you're not going to allow him/me to test drive the vehicles I'm interested in right?! I said, is that typically the way you do business here?! She said nooooo, but...I just KNOW, this is what she CLAIMED. She said, I just KNOW you're not gonna buy anything today. I said NOOOOO YOU DON'T! I said how is that even possible for you to know if I'm gonna buy today or not?! She said well, are you?! I said nowwww you're asking lol. I said you know what, I have NEVER heard that in my LIFEEEEEE. A car dealer telling me I CAN'T TEST DRIVE A VEHICLE lol. That's crazy! I have a G-class license. I am 33 years old and I didn't say this but, I probably have enough money to buy almost every single vehicle they have on the lot. SERIOUSLY. I said, I work too and if I were to tell a customer, I'm not gonna let you try this on today. I would PROBABLY GET FIREDDDDDD. I said, seriously though, like what kinda sales practice and or technique is that?! I said, that's just something you DON'T SAY. No one says that. I said that's a TOTALLY CRAZY THING TO SAY. I said, I don'ttttttt even know if I'm gonna buy something here today or not. So how could you know if I don't even know?! lol. She said alright while **IF YOU'RE gonna buy something today, I will let you test drive one.** I said, I'm not gonna deal with this sht and started walking away. She said youuuuu don't wanna test drive one, with a BIG SMILE. I said at this point, I'm ready to leave. She then tossed me the keys, then said, I let ppl test drive vehicles all the time, but that's because I KNOW they're gonna buy. I said, WOW lady I have no idea what you're talkin about. But tnx. I went for the test drive and when I came back, she said just to let you know, the price is FIRM. Which is the same BS all dealers say. She said, I'm letting you know, we will NOT be negotiating at all. The price is what it is, its a fair price and if you don't buy it here today. Its gonna sell tomorrow. I said wow, sounds like you're trying to predict the future. But, if you don't want to demonstrate some flexibility in the price, that's fine its up to you. She said NO, we won't be negotiating. She said at that price, it will sell very soon. I just want ppl to KNOW, I wish I had a camera and could put this lady on TV. Not to ruin her life or anything, I just wanna ppl to know, this is what my experience was like with this nut of lady. Now I bought a Jeep in a city near Toronto for $2000 less then what I would have paid@ the time there. The Jeep I bought also had 11 000km's on it when I bought and it is the colour I wanted too. While that SAMEEEE Sahara is STILL on the lot NOW with MORE km's AND it is $5000 less. You can even see HOW MUCH the price was lowered since that day. read more

Found out they weren't on Carling anymore, alot bigger than the last time I bought a car from them. Drove out to Kanata with a friend and was amazed at the amount of cars, got a Mazda 3 and I'm really happy with it. My credit wasn't that great and they got me approved, I'd really recommend them to anyone. read more

I had the worst experience with this dealer. First, they charged me 700$ for a life insurance policy on the vehicle that I never asked for and getting it cancelled was a total nightmare. Then, a week later, the check engine light came on and when I went to see them on it they wouldn't even take 5 mins to passs it through the diagnostics computer. Instead, they told me to leave it until the next day. I asked them if I can have a replacement vehicle so I can get back home and pick up my vehicle the next day. They laughed and told me to take the bus in a very rude way. So, I told them that I don't want them to fix anything and I took the car back to fix it at a regular mechanic. I must say that this is by far the worst customer service I have ever seen and I would personally never go back there again. They seem all nice at first but once you sign the contract, your on your own. read more

I purchased a vehicle from Westend Automotive in Dec 2010 and had them install winters ties on winter rims. When spring arrived I had the summer tires installed and balanced on their alloy rims. The installer noticed that one of the tires was bulging because of the strap inside the tire. I returned to Westend automotive and informed them of my predicament. Jeff Lalonde told me it was my fault and that I must have done it myself. I informed him I purchased the car on winter tires and rims and Jo-Anne assured me that the summer tires passed safty specification and the summer tires on rims were put in my trunk in bags. This is the first time after balancing that I'm driving on the summer tires and I don't understand how this could be my fault if you assured to me they were safe. They clearly are not safe. This is just my experience at Westend automotive. I wish you the best of luck if you decide to purchase a vehicle from them. read more
