He charged me $95 to look at my car. First he said he didn't have a written quote then he wrote one on a paper. The quote was over $900, I had decided if my repairs were more than $500 I would sell my car instead of fixing it. So I told him that, he then said it was a $95 fee. I took it for second opinion and was told the fuel pump was fine and just needs some gasket thing less than $300. He was not nice at all and I have no idea why anyone would think he was affordable. I would highly recommend this establishment! I was visiting from out of town when my alternator went out. You hear horror stories about how auto repair places take advantage of women. But not the case at this place. They quoted a price ahead of time and fixed it in a very timely manner and were very nice to work with. read more

Actually my rating is negative 5.... Had my auto towed in by AAA. Jerry and his mechanic said problem was gaskets, radiator leak and oh the timing belt needs repair.... after paying over $1300, Jerry let me drive off.... well I got 300 feet, before the exact same issue stopped my auto from continuing.... If he ran a good mechanic shop, they would have test-driven the car in the beginning and in the end and make sure the diagnostic was correct the problem with my vehicle was the transmission and the third gear was out... after going my wonderful 300 feet and coming back in second gear Jerry says" oh we'll make it right with you I don't do business this way I don't do business this way I'm going to take care of your transmission".... after 5 and a half weeks and calling multiple times it was apparent he was never going to fix it. My auto just sat in the lot ...he refused to refund me for fixing stuff that didn't need to be fixed when the car was totaled in the beginning with a bad transmission!!!! what a horrible place to go to!!!! never would recommend this place... I live in Midland and was on my way home from Dallas when my fuel pump went out. These guys picked up truck around 8am, gave me a fair quote with options, competetive pricing, and finished the work by noon. Great service, great attitudes and im from out-of-town and got better service than i get at home. Office A+ Shop A+ wish i lived in Ft. Worth now, id go have coffee up there... I am upset because I feel I had been ripped off.I am raising my review from 2 stars to 3 because I was given a partial refund on the overcharged labor, staff was friendly and I was given a loaner car to drive since my car was there from Thursday through Tuesday. Here's the bad. All parts were costing almost twice as much as I found anywhere retail. The shop's website had a 10% off parts coupon which was not applied to my parts total because" I did not present it at the time of when my card was swiped".Coupon has nothing on it about when it needs to be presented.I asked why the price of parts is twice as high as retail and answer given was " we gotta make a profit".At the time of the estimate, I was told I will not be charged labor on my belt replacement since they were taking engine out for head gaskets replacement yet they charged me additional $400 for the belt labor which was later partially refunded- good thing I read every item on the bill. My card was swiped before I was given a detail breakdown of charges- I didn't even ask, I thought I would be treated fairly. Lesson learned. I had left them a list of what is needed to be fixed however my windshield sprinkler motor was not fixed, instead they did an alignment without asking me and charged me for it . Then did tire sensor replacement without asking me approval to do the work. Charged my card without giving me breakdown of the total. When I brought up unauthorized work charges and fact that not everything was fixed, I was offered to fix sprinklers for free but I am not bringing my car back or want to deal with these guys ever again. Will have to find a different shop. Less rip off than a dealership would have been but I feel I was charged unfairly. read more
