spent about 600 bucks for carb and fuel pump repairs...repair lasted about 1 day before carb broke down and flooded out....this guy never returned my call or made ANY attempt do me right...went to freedom auto and got another new fuel pump AND a new carb [apparently old carb was badly damaged form this guy's repair] at a MUCH cheaper rate than this guy....i started asking around and basically got same answer from other people as well as poor reviews online about this guy and his poor work...truck runs good now that a decent mech did the job....this guy is overpriced and does not back up his work....avoid... read more

I had an oil leak and needed my A/C repaired. I called TBerry to setup an appointment and he told me to drop it off on a Friday at 10 am. 8 weeks later, yes 8 weeks later I finally got my truck back. Let me start by saying that his communication is horrible, he never called me to give me a status on my vehicle and I always had to blow him up just to get some kind of response. Every week he had a new excuse as to why the truck wasn't ready. It was there for 3 weeks before he even called me to tell me what was wrong. After 8 weeks and 15 phones calls of threatening to come get my vehicle, he gave it back with a new oil leak, a cracked radiator, and power steering fluid leaking everywhere. He said to bring it back and he would double check everything and pressure wash it. Once again, left it overnight came and got it the next day and a few days later it's still leaking. I took my truck to another shop and they said the radiator is cracked and they would have to further investigate the oil leak and he never fixed the AC which is the reason why I dropped it to begin with. He's a knowledgeable mechanic, not sure what happened but I will never use his services again. Avoid this guy at all cost. read more

We were stranded in 104 degrees in Texas and T-Berry came to the rescue. We had a major coolant leak on my ford and was very difficult to diagnose and fix. But I could tell right away T-Berry had a lifetime of experience and was right for the job. He fixed two leaks and had us back on the road in 3 hours. Took my car into T-Berry when my check engine light came on. Was given a price estimate, which they honored. I was able to get an appointment to drop my car off for their next business day. My car was checked out and fixed by the following day. They explained what was wrong with it (which is what I thought it was), how they fixed it and asked if I had any questions. When it comes to your car, you need to be able to go to someone you trust. That being said, I am so thankful to have found Mr. Scott T. Berry's shop! I was having car trouble and took my car to a Pep Boys to be diagnosed and was quoted close to $1400 for fixes. I called T.Berry in a bit of distress and he gladly walked me through my concerns for over 30 min, even helped by looking up parts and pricing(keep in mind I wasn't even a customer of His yet!). He took our car in right away and told us some of the fixes we were told to make were unnecessary, which saved us close to 1000K!!! Our car is running smoothly again and we are so very thankful! I took my car here on August 31st of 2020. My key did not recognize my car I guess it had unprogrammed. They had my car for over 5 weeks. They were unable to do what was needed on my car and instead of telling me that I got the runaround for 5 weeks. (FYI I finally cast back Wednesday September 30, 2020). In the process, I lost my new job that I just started on the 17th of August. Hell I had no transportation and still don't! They made me pay $420 just to get my car towed from them to another auto repair shop. I was told that they completely removed my entire computer out of my car so at this present time there is nothing they can do. They're customer service is horrible. I've never spoken to the mechanic once in the six weeks that they had my car. They even try to give me a 03' Cavalier to drive until they fix my car, but this was four weeks after the fact that they had my car, which was kind of weird, but I understand why now, that's because they had messed up my car. I am the one that called several times throughout this process, they never called me. I may have spoken to them five times in the six weeks that they actually had my car. Now I'm without a job, my car, and $420 dollars for work that they did not do and to top it, they messed up my car! Do not take your car to them! As I write this review, I am currently seeking a lawyer and I have every intention on suing them for loss wages and emotional distress. If you value your job, if you don't like wasting your money and your time, and if you want to keep your car, I would recommend you look elsewhere. read more

They do great work at the most affordable prices! In the whole dfw area trust me I looked. They even fixed some hoses for me that I didn't even know about. Very easy to talk to there was no run around games here. They fixed what need to be fixed and did not try to update me on anything.
