To get into it there was some inconsistencies in the paint job that I notice upon completion. I pointed them out to the painter and informed Gil. He was very accommodating and came to see for himself. We discussed and he explained a few things to me, overall we came to an understanding that some of my concerns were valid and some were not because of how the existing walls were. His team came out another day to fix the remaining issues and complete the work. This attention he gave to me and willingness to fix my concerns is one of the reasons I rated him so high. The crew of three people took nine days to finish the job painting ceilings in every room within the interior of the house. They did an excellent job, lots of attention to detail and clean up after every days work. This company painted the exterior of our home and did an excellent job. They also painted our kitchen cabinets and again the results were excellent. When we decided to paint the interior, we went with this company. Mr. Nieto was here to give an estimate which we agreed to, in addition to the start date. Because of contractor delays, I contacted Mr. Nieto to push the start date back a week, which he agreed to, as his current job was running late. On the agreed upon start date, no painters or phone call. When I was able to speak with him, he placed blame on me and he told me he would give the deposit back. I would have given this company a 4.5 review in 2016 when we had our entire exterior repainted. They were not cheap, but we didn't want low bid or a less than perfect job. This company had good reviews. But, here it is 2020, and we are having to repaint the trim. It is always the paint that peels first. However, when the repair man came to do the job he told us the trim boards had never been prepped correctly with primer. I find this very surprising and not very reputable. read more

We had our entire interior painted, ceiling to floor boards. The ceiling work was very good. The remainder was disappointing. The finish work was poor, the windowsills had not been wiped off prior to painting. The floor boards and trimming were sloppy, the paint went onto the walls and in some cases were not done. Called Gil for a quote, he came out, very professional. I had him quote for living/dining room. I also asked him to quote separately the hallway and bathroom, I told him I wasn't sure if I was going to have them painted at the same time I was having the living room done. He gave me a quote and separate quote for the other areas, a little pricey but from his reviews I figured he was going to do a great job. Call him the next day, agreed to his quote and asked him when he could start. He asked if I was having the other two areas done at the same time and I told him maybe a little later on. He asked Me about the colors I had chosen and would call me right back to see when he could squeeze me in. 5 days later I'm still waiting on a start date!!! I quess my little house and not having the other two areas done at this time wasn't worth his time. So if You're looking for someone to a small job don't waste your time by calling Gil. He addressed all my concerns & I felt confident in choosing him over others. His crew was very thorough. I had been looking for dry wall repair services in the Azusa area for a few days and I kept finding people that never called back or simply wouldn't answer their phones. I finally found Western Pacific Painting on Yelp. I noticed right away that they had a 4 star review, but I was a bit skeptical because they only had "one" review. I decided to call them anyway, because I was tired of not hearing back other contractors. I talked to Gilbert and right away, I could tell something was different. His customer service was great and he explained the entire process. Within a few days he showed up with one of his workers and nocked out the repair I needed. My neighbor had a hole in their ceiling do to a leak coming from our upstairs unit. Gilbert's crew was able to patch it up and match the texture pretty close to the original texture of the ceiling. They also painted the ceiling as well. They started at 7:30am and were out by noon. Wow!
