Run from these folks. My contractor went to them to order two cabinets with crown and filler to go in our kitchen full of the same maker. The color we already have is no longer available, so we opted for a different color. No problem, we'll select the other color that is also in our house and still in production. I'll share the high level here. Imagine if this was a full kitchen of cabinets... The first delivery came. 1. The cabinet door was the wrong profile 2. The profile of the crown did not match the existing (which was provided at the time of order) 3. The finish is shiny when the existing sample provided at the time of order is matte. 4. There were additional issues with the construction that are no fault of the dealer. We requested that everything be replaced, based on the above issues. Their first offer was to only replace the doors, then they added the crown and finally after some back and forth about the boxes, these as well. We think, but since we do not have any documentation, we don't really know what has been ordered. We requested the order form be reviewed before they sent it to the cabinet company to fully review. Note that we have not received the original order in detail (when the contractor went back with the issues, he was shown the internal order form). After some back and forth, the representative said they would check on the sheen issue and were told the color we selected was not available in a matte sheen. It at least used to be because I have a sample. Then we offered to pay the difference to either select another available color in a matte sheen or custom match our existing cabinetry by the same manufacturer. On January 30th, the representative said that was not possible because the order was already in production. No order forms had been provided to us to review and approve. Fast forward to today, after pushing on the shop and the manufacturer, we receive an order form dated February 7th - EIGHT DAYS AFTER THEY TOLD US THE ORDER WAS IN PRODUCTION - and it is incomplete, mentions two different profiles, doesn't include one of two cabinet boxes, the doors, crown or filler. Again, since this company will not provide order forms to us or our contractor, we have no idea what has actually been ordered. So their website says this from the owner "AND YEAH, I'M A REAL PERSON EVEN THOUGH MY CARICATURE IS YOUNGER, BETTER LOOKING AND HAS MORE HAIR THAN I DO NOW. YOU CAN EVEN CALL ME AT (714) 285-9300, EXTENSION 1200, IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT." And I call to talk to him. Rather than putting me through, they try to take the call. I tell the gal that we're past that. He's "on a conference call" and they will get back to me. That was this morning. So go ahead and call him, but unless you're a happy customer, don't expect much. Fast forward to the next business day, still no call back from Ron, The Real Person, who owns this company or the person screening my call. In summary; * The original order was incorrect. (I get it, mistakes happen) * They have not provided complete paperwork regarding the order, including the the finish awareness form, which requires OUR signature. * They have not been honest with us about their ordering timeline. * They have not communicated the production and delivery dates around this order read more

All I can say is if you are looking for cabinets Western States Cabinet Wholesalers is where you want to go. Debra at the Escondido location was a wealth of information. I had an idea of what I wanted and needed but I needed someone to help me narrow my options down and Debra did that. Debra has cabinets for every budget big and small. I was on a tight timeline and needed cabinets that could be ready in 6 - 8 weeks...and I got them in that timeframe. The cabinets are beautiful and fit great with no problems at all. My wife and I visited Western States Cabinet Wholesalers on the recommendation of our contractor as we were going through a whole home renovation. We had previously visited another cabinet wholesaler in the area and were very disappointed in their customer service. We walked in the door to meet Lisa....right away I knew this was going to be a better experience. Lisa walked us through the different types of cabinets, materials, colors, styles, and finally prices that met our budget. It was refreshing to have an expert help us when there are so many other choices to be made when remodeling....she helped our confused little brains. After choosing the style/color/make we wanted, Lisa then sat us down and started the kitchen design....we really just let her run with it and design the cabinet placement as she pleased. We provided her the simple measurements of the kitchen and she laid it all out... At the end you can see a computer generated image of your kitchen at all angles, pretty cool compared to the penciled scratch drawing other wholesalers gave us. Our renovation is now done and we love our Kitchen Craft cabinets....Kitchen Craft did not provide us with enough shelving supports so I contacted Lisa and she got right on it....having more sent directly to our address. In a word: Lisa. Lisa is the best. I'm remodeling my kitchen. In our house our kitchen gets used and abused. It's the hub for our family. It's where all the magic happens. I have spent the last year of my life designing the layout and flow of my kitchen. You might be thinking: "WTF. Stove, fridge, sink. How hard can that be?" Well, kitchen design is not that simple. If you've ever prepared a meal in a poorly designed kitchen, you know what I'm talking about. You've got the sacred "work triangle", minimum and max aisle widths, recommended seating heights, counter overhang, countertop heights, toe kicks... But these are all guidelines. At the end of the day, you need to figure out a design that works best for YOUR family. It's seriously enough to give you a brain hemmorage. I have been incredibly anal about this whole process. For 2 huge reasons: 1. it's crazy expensive. This is costing 2x more than my annual salary for my first job out of college. Before income taxes. Holy cow... Holy cow. 2. it's crazy inconvenient to go through a kitchen remodel, so you better get it right the first time unless you want to live through the nightmare again. It's insane to think of how much money I'm spending to be tortured for the next 6 weeks as we go through construction. At the heart of the layout is the cabinets. If you have a major issue with your cabinets after they are installed, it's a huge pain. They're connected to the wall, they are under your monolithic countertop, you might even have to rip up some of your flooring to get it out. It's not like an appliance where you can just change it out without destroying the surrounding areas. So yeah, I'm going to be anal about the cabinets. Enter: Lisa. She is PATIENT, smart, diligent and prompt. I pretty much knew what I wanted and where, except for the final 15% of tweaking. She provided good solutions to the areas I struggled with. She patiently endured my brief moments of neurosis. And when I woke up in a panic 2 days after I placed my order because I specified the incorred depth on a certain cabinet run, she came down like an angel from heaven and got it fixed. She is great. Seriously great. Also, her prices were excellent. I got Omega Dynasty cabinets. Their prices were about 10% lower than the pricing from Friedmans Appliances (another Omega dealer). Tip: Friedman's has the best prices for appliances. Hands down. So go there to get that stuff. Ask for Carlos. I haven't gotten the cabinets yet, but will update this review once I do. Finally getting around to writing a review of our experience with Lisa Bright of Western Cabinets - My wife and I worked through a complete kitchen remodel. We pretty much did our own complicated design/layout. Lisa was extremely and thoroughly helpful during the process. She suggested we make adjustments to our island size, layout and style. Part of her strategy was to make sure measurements were exact before starting in order to avoided surprises at the end of the job when it becomes too late. We visited her several times prior to making a commitment and she was extremely patient and committed to helping us. She provided her own valuable ideas but did not force her design style on us. She worked with our tastes. One of the most important value she provided (which results in the 5 star rating), was that after the cabinets were delivered and paid for, she still made herself available to answer several questions. It was great to deal with someone fluent in the kitchen remodeling process, excellent with numbers/measurements, who is a smart designer and has high ethical standards. read more

I have never written a Yelp review before. We had such great customer service and help from Lisa Bright... I felt like I just had to write a review!! We had a flood in our kitchen several years ago. Our insurance company initially tried to only replace our lower cabinets. We were panicking at the expense. We went to Lisa and priced replacing all the cabinets. We are just regular people not a contractor or builder. We must have been a small account to her, but she was so professional and helpful. We purchased Mid-Continent Cabinetry. It still looks great!! I intended to write a good review then. At Christmas this year, my daughter somehow slid across the length of the kitchen and ran into one of the cabinets. Her knee went right through the center of a cabinet. We contacted Lisa again. She was quick to help us. Our new door arrived. I cannot believe how perfect it looks. Additionally we can see that our cabinets have not aged at all. You can see from the picture that there is literally no difference between the 4 year old cabinet and the brand new one. read more

I was lucky enough to find Lisa in the office on a Saturday because they are officially closed which would be my only negative about this company. Lisa was helpful, and knows her products and companies. I received my shipment of Diamond bathroom vanity cabinets very well packed and earlier than estimated. One drawer had the Diamond sign upside down, plus a slight splinter from a screw. A door was slightly ajar. Other wise they were perfect and beautiful. I called Lisa and she replaced both without hesitation. As it turned out the door only needed a slight adjustment, which she did tell me was most likely the case, but because she wanted me to be completely satisfied she ordered another door anyway at no additional cost to me. Was told by contractor that this is a good company. The employee at location "Tara" is terrible and rude. from the start, was not friendly. even though we ordered the cabinets and paid half the down payment. we were told that cabinets would be delivered on a Friday (which I took off work) and then told that they would be delivered Monday. Told Tara that I could give her my credit card or she would have to wait until Tuesday to get the remaing balance. She was not happy and told me that she could have been fired for having her company drop off cabinets without payment. I told her that I was not at home and that they shouldn't have dropped off if that was the case. Went in to pay around 9am which she was not happy about ( she wanted 7:30am at the latest) I told her she was rude and was not customer friendly. She told me to leave the building. Would not reccomend this business to anyone. Lots of other places with happy people wanting your business. read more

My wife and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. We were referred to Western States Cabinet Wholesalers by our contractor (Zangger Construction). We were fortunate to work with Lisa who was just terrific. She provided us with all the information to help with our selection. We then sat down with her to design the new kitchen. She was patient with us. Using her expertise on the computer, she provided us with a printed model of our new kitchen. During our meeting she devoted all of her time and expertise to our project. We ordered our new cabinets at a very favorable price and are now awaiting delivery and the start of the project. We feel fortunate to have Zangger Construction as our contractor and Lisa at Western States Cabinets to provide their expertise and guidance for this major project.
