He did far more research into what we were dealing with than any of the others, and offered a number of optional solutions explaining everything in detail. A more current model would offer less CFMs, require complex reventing, and drywall repair. So he suggested that he could actually rebuild the current fan with new parts, which we were miraculously able to find and order, and reinstall it in the same frame with no need for reventing or ceiling repair. While it turned out to be a more complex project that I'd expected, I trusted Stephen's recommendations and followed his lead. He did a fantastic job literally pulling the ancient (installed in 1986) fan apart, then rebuilding it so I essentially have a brand new fan with new motor and blades in the same frame and assembly. An amazing process to watch, and I believe it was the best solution possible. No one else even suggested that as an option as I doubt that anyone else even knew that this rather unusual high CFM fan could be rebuilt. As a result, I'm so glad I opted to work with Stephen on this project rather than the standard "FixIt" option as I'm certain the outcome would have been far less satisfactory. My fan now works like it's new again, and I'm thrilled. While it took a number of weeks for the process to play out, I could not be happier with both my fan, and Stephen's advice and service. I can't speak on price because DW came out of pocket because it was their negligence but I can speak on their experience. Dan was hands on from day 1 and his staff was professional and kind. They understood the peril of water loss to our home and our entire community (the entire street was affected). Literally, this is a $hi**y job and their team made sure it was dry down to concrete so we could rebuild. -Pumped out sewage water -Dried and cleaned basement -Pull up drywall past moisture line and pulled out contaminated items -Pulled up Sill plates -Contracted the Asbestos Abatement on a hurry-up permit -Cleaned and disinfected floor -We experienced a rancid mold/mildew smell after the asbestos abatement and RL stuck around to clear out the black mastic and get us down to concrete so that we could rebuild I'm not a fan of Denver Water or our experience with Denver Water in this situation but the response from Restoration Logistics was top notch. They're experienced restoration specialist and I would not hesitate to call them again. Although, my hope is that I will not ever have to do so.
