I'm disappointed with my experience here. I called ahead to make an appointment asking for a natural nail manicure with regular paint and a simple design. However, when I got there, they told me they couldn't do what I asked for, even though my natural nails are acrylic length. I had to settle for something I did not want. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona state liscense for board and the BBB. I made appointment for two phase 3 pedicures and a dip set for finger nails and a gel manicure. My friend only had issues with polish being painted on toes the technician kept messing it up and layering it on so it never dried. I'm concerned that the tools they were using were not clean, she put the foot razor back into the bag when she was done for my friend, and my razor wasn't even in a surgical bag. My pedicure chair was broken. During the pedicure the nail tech cut a flap of skin off on my left ring toe and it hurt like hell. She did not express concern only annoyance when I pulled my foot back. She also cut the skin too deep on my pinky toe on my right foot. Again no concern. When my tech started working on my nails, she burned the nail bed by pressing too hard at too high of a speed trying to get the dip off. I get my nails done every two weeks and I never have this problem. The manager yelled at me and said my nails were too thin and I explained it's only because she's pressing too hard. She got really frustrated but let up a bit and we got through it. When she began applying the dip powder and shaping, she kept slicing my cuticles with the metal drill and she cut my right thumb. It was bleeding and when I'd pull my hand back in pain she'd grab it very annoyed and yank it back. Then she applied the clear coat too thick and dipped, and it was like dripping off my nail so she was trying to push it back in place with her finger. Obviously that didn't work and it stuck to her finger so she piled more powder on and didn't wait for it to dry before trying to brush excess off. Then the brush got stuck in my nails and there were clumpy pieces in my nail so she went to apply MORE...I finally lost it and at this point the owner started working on me. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of attention given to her hurting me!! I told her she was hurting me and she just gave me an angry look. The finished product is a disaster and my fingers are sore unlike they've ever been before. Please investigate this establishment. They should not be able to treat customers this way and insist they did nothing wrong. I begrudgingly paid full price but I did not provide a tip. 1.5 hours of service took them three hours. Both in call and in person the managers insist my nails look great and that they did nothing wrong. Keep in mind my toes had been drying for 1.5 hours so there is no reason they shouldn't be dry unless they used too much paint fixing mistakes. read more

So I'd first like to say I work right across the street and have been excited to try this salon out how convenient would be to get off work and get a pedicure! Right! No wrong... the worst pedicure I ever had, first foot bath they put me had bugs floating around and which one bit me on my leg. I didn't realize until after they moved me to a different chair where my leg started to itch and realized I had a big bite. Sec I told her I have time to soak of my gel polish I get pedicures every two weeks so I can't have the gel drill off it makes my natural nail too thin, well either she didn't care that I said that and proceeded which ended up with my toe nails being to thin. Just like I told her. After all this the color I choose was a neon yellow which when applied very translucent I suggested they put white underneath (this isn't the first time I've experienced translucent nail polish! Don't think it was her time either) so they buffed off a layer polished them white and re applied the yellow which resulted in a very jacked up un even application. It looks horrible I'm so disappointed and never would of thought this location would have such poor quality of work. I paid for my service with out any compensation not even to being bit up by bugs floating in the water. Now I'm left with an ugly dissatisfying pedicure that I have to have till the next time I get them done which will be a while till my toe nails can handle another gel application...smh literally would give no stars if it was an option. read more

Phenomenal job! Was out looking for a new nail salon not too far from me. Found this amazing location and the pictures called my name. The clean paint job is what drew me here. Cherry on the top was the online booking. It was so quick to set up a time. My pedicure was done clean and quick. Defiantly not like other locations that have taken 2.5 hrs for just a pedi. Friendly service. I went as a walk in and they got me in quickly. I got the Westgate special which was nice forthe price. I give them three stars because the tech was rough and cut my foot with the callous remover which was pretty painful. She seemed to be hurried at that time and didn't get all the callouses off. I usually don't go here but I was already at Westgate so I thought that I would give it to shot. I got manicure and pedicure. I have never had my toe filed so hard that it bled. Even after she made it bleed, she blamed it on me. She told me that I make my skin bleed because I cut off the callous and it makes my skin weak. The customer service was alright both times I went in. Pricing is pretty good. They dont have too many options for some colors or designs unfortunately. It was a very clean environment. However, each time I have gotten my nails done there, some nails break or pop off like press ons do. This most recent time i had 2 nail tips fall off by just itching my arm, and the other one just pop off when opening my car door. Any time I've gotten acrylics that wasnt at this salon, they have never broken off. My boyfriend and I both got pedicures. The ladies that took care of us were very friendly and the pedicures were very relaxing. The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because they use this cheese grater type of thing on the heels of your feet which is sooooo bad for your heels. I have been coming to this salon for a few years but took a 6 month break from getting my nails done. Now I remember why. I want to mention the nail technicians are very nice. I've never felt disrespected in anyway however there have been several times in which I left disappointed in my nails. The pictures are from today in which the tech convinced me to get SNS dip nails. I was okay with that and picked a nude color (27B) and requested rounded nails. In the jar, the powder looks lighter so I thought that's what I was getting until it was on my nail, it appeared orange/ yellow. I pointed out that it didn't look like the color I chose. After he was done, I noticed that he used the color (26B) which was very different. I pointed it out again and he agreed that it looked very yellow, but said it was because of the matte topcoat. I showed him the color I originally picked and that the number was different but he didn't offer to fix it. I didn't want to be rude so I just picked a similar color for my pedicure and went with it. But then I got the total and it was $78. I don't mind paying for good service but when you're paying so much for a mani/ pedi (no other services) and you don't get what you ask for, it's very disappointing. Also I wanted to mention that it was concerning that the nail tech dipped my nails directly into the jar which is not hygienic/ sanitary especially considering I'm posting this during the time of the pandemic, I would think they would have used a separate container. read more

I walked in for a manicure. Full set of acrylic nails (for my first time). The nail tech cut me twice and made me bleed. My nails look horrible. My nails are uneven, sides left unpainted, and are very smudged. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Definetly not worth the money. I tried talking to the woman who rang me up about how I wasn't happy with my nails and she said "oh okay well come back". I had to wait almost an hour for a manicure and then to make matters worse there were constant interruptions. The lady doing my manicure left me waiting to do sometimes nails. Overall my nails were not filed correctly (they are not equal in size).Also my eyebrows were not done evenly. When I mentioned about my nails O was yelled at. My step daughter almost had the worst possible nail job here. I am a guy who has no idea about nails and even I could tell a bad thing. I took her back and demanded they fix them or just take them off. No nail was the same length. Her two pinky nails weren't even close to the same width. They looked like Black Chic-lets glued to her fingers. The woman who did them called my step daughter a liar claiming she asked for them like that. Then... I don't recommend it. I paid extra for a specialty polish that was not applied correctly and does not look like the model nail. They didn't seem to understand or care so I just paid.. The shapes of my nails are so uneven I came home and spent an additional 10 minutes attempting to fix them. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in for a manicure. Not only did the technician cut my cuticle and could not stop the bleeding, but as she was trying to she kept dabbing the bottle of product onto the cut with the tip of it, which was coming into contact with my open cut getting blood on the bottle. She then twisted the cap back on without disinfecting it, only to reopen and use it again. Being in the medical field I was appalled and informed her to stop using it as I now knew whomever that bottle was used on prior was definitely not sanitized effectively. Once I got home, the nail polish on my thumb chipped. Next it was my pinky. The next day more nail polish chipped including my cuticles peeling and a hang nail showing on my index finger. I called the salon to express my concerns, they told me to come I and they would redo it. I was not able to return for the next few days due to work and living 30miles from Westgate. So I scheduled for a day I had off. Well...I walked in and was told she would "paint" my nails for 50% off. She kept trying to make me do gel. I know gel lasts longer but I myself do not do gel. I explained to her that I have always had regular manicures from other salons and my experience like this has never once happened. She became very rude stating she would not redo them for nothing. Everyone was looking. I hope they heard because I have never experienced 1) extremely poor quality of a manicure, 2) witness to risk for spread of infection due to poor sanitization protocols (this is in my opinion disgusting) and 3) horrible, absolutely horrible, customer service. I would never recommend this place. Especially for what they charge on top of that. Horrible. Just letting all of you know. My mom had a good experience here about a week ago so I thought I would try it out. I won't be back. I left $83 poorer then I came in (which was for a pedicure, gel manicure and brow wax). I was pampering myself which I RARELY do, so I got an upgraded pedicure that was supposed to come with several fancy extras and promised to leave your feet feeling refreshed for hours, the only difference between what I received and the base pedicure was a longer massage and $17! After I left I looked at my eyebrows and there are still hairs where there shouldn't be. I was only in the shop for 30 minutes, they rushed me in and out, my relaxation was definitely not their concern. Now I do not feel pampered and I have a guilty conscience for spending all that money. So frustrating! read more
