The pizza I ordered today was AWFUL. It was not hot, as if it had been sitting around for a long tome. There was hardly any sauce on it and it had no taste at all. I arrived 5 minutes before the30 minutes I was told to pick it up. I had to warm in the microwave. Even the crust was not good at all. I used to love this pi,za but apparently you are hiring people that don't know how to make pizza. When I spoke to the person that made it she was rude. I adore STL pizza and like NY-style. I dislike Chicago deep dish and California-style. I have no idea what style Westgate pizza is, and after I had a couple of pieces of plain cheese, I don't even know how much I like it. It's rectangular and it's cut in rectangles, which is St. Louis-y. It's fairly thick and doughy without being deep dish. The crust is nothing to write home about and neither is the cheese. They're each okay. The sauce tasted more seasoned than marinara. The pizza was cold when it got to me, which was the picker-upper's fault rather than Westgate's, but the cheese slid off the rest of the slice when I took sizeable bites. I wouldn't mind having Westgate if I return to the area, but I also wouldn't mind trying someplace else. read more

Pretty amazing pizza here!!! You won't find better anywhere else (in my opinion) as for my score this is why. my only complaint is I went to order the other night, and their Facebook page as well as online both stated that this location closes at 11 pm.... that being said the staff was a little annoyed with me because I was ordering pizza so late and they were getting ready to close. My only suggestion is if you are going to keep up on social media, then do just that and keep up on it and make sure customers are aware of the changes!! read more

Have ordered delivery a few times now over the last year and they've all been great. Order time has been right on, or faster. Pizza's always tasted delicious. They're not a greasy mess, even when ordering the monstrosity of the meat-covered one. The amount of ingredients used is spot on, and I like the sauce. Well, this place still delivers just OK pizza. I must say though that when we had it the other day, the toppings were much more plentiful in the cheese and pepperoni dept. We also tried the white pizza which also had the right amount of toppings but it was a bit dry. Don't know if it was cooked slightly too long or what but the crust was still pretty good. As with my original review, we will continue to go here once in a while as it is cheap. My first review was in 2009 if that's any indication of how often we order pizza from here. read more

I grew up on Westgate pizza, it was always my favorite. It had a particular taste, the way it was seasoned. About two years ago they changed their sauce. It was a subtle change, maybe it was the pizza sauce or paste, but something definitely changed. I called and asked about it a number of times and they kept telling me it hadn't changed. They lied. HORRIBLE PIZZA & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called to order a pizza and was told to pick it up in 30 minutes. I arrived in a timely manner. I have my receipt that said that I paid for the pizza at 5:49pm I went straight home to eat. As soon as I got home I realize that the pizza was stiff and lukewarm to the point that I had to reheat it in the microwave. Myself, my husband and children proceeded to eat the pizza and it was so tuff that it felt as if I was trying to eat chips without chewing them. I called into the pizzeria at 6:09pm to let them know about the pizza and they told me that there was nothing that they could do. I asked to speak to the owner or manager and of course they both weren't there. I told them that I would try calling back the next day. They opened at 10:00am and I called in at 10:17am they told me again that the owner or manager was not there and put me on a brief hold.... by SUPRISE the manager magically appeared which I already recognized her voice because it was the same lady that I spoke to the night before. She explained that if I had a problem I should have returned it the same day I purchased it which I did and they refused to... and that she just so happened to check the camera and the pizza "looked" fine to her. How would she have known how it was unless she tasted it??? She was very rude and angry and refused to refund me for that horrible tasting pizza. She tried to question me as if I was lying... Whatever happened to the customer is always right?? I told her I will even bring in the remaining slices to show proof and they still refused to allow me that. So... I'm writing this review and will continue to write on every website possible because when I spend money I expect top qualify and good service which I did not receive either!!!
