If I could give no stars I would. Absolute worst experience imaginable. Bought an 80,000 mile truck that was "fully inspected" by their "master" technician. Trust me I know it's a used truck, but all of the small issues the truck had they completely tried to hide or entirely ignore. Thankfully me being a mechanic, the evening I got there I noticed the running boards didn't even work, the brake booster was broken and had almost no vacuum on the brake pedal at inching speeds (Drive thru/parking spots). The thermostat was stuck open and not allowing the truck to get up to operating temperature. I asked 4 times for the measurements of my brake pads from their "thorough inspection" Still never got an answer. I called them about buying the truck and locking the price on what they had posted, and the salesmen agreed. Got there and instead of the normal price, they tried to up it and say it was posted for three grand more than it was. Thankfully I had taken photos of the original listing, so they ended up "honoring it". Trucks alignment was completely off and speaker was blown. Ended up taking the truck back to them two or three times for repairs they completely ignored. From the last visit the alignment still pulls hard and steering wheel was crooked until I fixed it correctly. Trucks front shock is entirely blown out and is leaking as much fluid as it possibly could, so they decided to tell me they couldn't duplicate the noise, I looked after I picked it up and they had put grease all over the spring to try to muzzle the sound. They also made an entire mess on my skid plate from changing the oil and filter, I never knew a master technician was so messy at a simple oil change. They finally said they'll cover the front strut but it was simply a waste of time for me to even go back so I fixed it myself and had the peace of mind knowing its correct. To top everything off, they never shipped my license plate like they said they did. I had called and he said he was going to ask for the tracking number, called me back after about 20 minutes to tell me he never got the tracking number. Jacob then said to me to go figure it out with the DMV myself after I paid all of their stuff at the dealership. I brought up a buy back after only about two weeks of owning the truck and they denied it. I highly advise looking anywhere else in this state to buy a car, it is not worth the headache and wasted money dealing with these people. read more

Edited with an update - I was hoping I could say this was resolved and they have "made this up to me" like the reply here says, but unfortunately, they have ruined their name even more. Clay the owner called me and very rudely said they now are unwilling to fix the scratches they lied about being on the vehicle. Highly do not recommend buying anything from Westgate Triad. They have a terrible team of lying employees. If I could go back, I would have purchased it from anywhere else. Purchased a '24 Outlander a couple weeks ago after over a week after being in contact with this dealership about coming to get in for about 2 weeks. Within 10 minutes of being at the dealership I noticed a bunch of little marks on it that looked like scratches and asked Ryan about them. Ryan stated they were just adhesive from the packaging during transit, and it would all be taken care after he said that I stopping looking at it because if they were all marks from the protective packaging during transit, I did not need to look for other things that might be wrong exteriorly because it would have been covered. We got all the paperwork filled out and Ryan moved the car, so it was right by the door in the shade then we left. Three days later I went to drive it the first time after getting it back home and since the sun was out noticed all the spots, I had pointed out were still there. After messaging Ryan, he said I needed to purchase a car safe adhesive remove. After wiping everything down some of the obvious adhesive spots came out but the matching scratches down the side did not because they were SCRATCHES not adhesive. I sent videos and pictures showing most of them to Ryan which he said he would show the management team the following morning which he never did. I finally messaged him the later to see if there was an update, and was only asked if I was going to be in their area soon. After informing him I had no plans of driving there (2.5 hours away) he would not reply to any of my messages. The following week my dad was finally about to get ahold of the owner, and they are only willing to fix them if I drive down. So, who knows what type of job they are going to do fixing it. On less important note. I filled out the information online and made it very clear this was my car. I was paying for it and my dad was only co-signing so I could get the 0% APR. When filling out the paperwork there we questioned why my dad was listed first and the finance guy assured us that they were equal on the accounts. Now when setting up all my payment with Santander they say he is the account holder, and I am the co-signer and the only way to fix it is to have them refinance it. Do not buy a car from here, I brought a car about 18 months ago. I drove from Wash DC to get this car. All the fake paint and coloring they used to hide all things with the body and the interior has worn off and the car a Cadillac Escalade looks like I had the car 20 years. I did not know you could cover that much damage to a vehicle. This is a $40,000 lesson. Do not buy a car from them. They were not helpful when I got the car home, and it could not pass Maryland inspection all they told me was that it passed North Carolina inspection. All the employees were very friendly and helpful (mainly Tom in finance) but the experience and process was very poor and unorganized. My first critique is that the car was advertised with 7,000 miles less than what it actually had but still at the same price. Their later response to this was, "Upon doing some research as to why the miles were not correctly stated it was because my CFO was driving the car as a demo so the miles should've been updated when he got into a new vehicle. My CFO normally drives my new cars so that's how this slipped through." I understand this happens but a 7,000 mile difference is a VERY LARGE difference, possible mistake or possible false advertising/fraud? Continue to read the review and you can decide. I found the car on the website and I filled out a form that offered $200 off your next purchase. This is obviously how the sales staff received my information and contacted me to come check out the car. After the test drive and the negotiations began they didn't take the $200 off the price of the car and I had to mention that and ask for it. I know this is something small and it's only $200 but it almost comes off dishonest and shady that I had to ask about this. My $500 deposit wasn't noted on the final paperwork as we had to return the following day with my title and checkbook. Thankfully we had our receipt of the down payment and Tom had seen in his notes once we brought it to his attention. While we were with Tom signing all the papers he had mentioned since you're keeping your plate it is getting transferred over now. (We assumed this was being done at this time as one, Tom had just mentioned it and two we figured any of the other employees could have used the 25-35 minutes we were in the back to switch over the plate). While we were driving home that night my wife asked, did you ever look to make sure they put your license plate on this car? Looking back, I realized based off everything else that had happened throughout the experience I shouldn't have assumed anything and looked for myself. Well as you are probably aware the licensed plates weren't switched and it had to be sent to me. At the end we were handed the "key" to the new car. I asked if there was a second key for the car. The salesman responded "I'm not really sure, I'll have to check with service in the back and see if there is something back there. I'm not really sure what all came in with this vehicle but I'll check with service." So we started moving stuff from my truck into my new car, thinking this would be when the salesman would go check on the second key. We returned once all packed up and asked again if he found the second key. He said I'll have to check with service tomorrow as no one is here right now. After 2 days I was informed that a second key for this car doesn't exist. I understand that you're not going to get both sets of keys with every used vehicle but I feel like this should have been mentioned. After an email to the manager, I was offered a second key at what they would have to pay for one. So yes, now I don't have to pay $500+ for a key at any dealership but should I really have to pay for one at all? Was this another "mistake that slipped by" or more deception? I feel like we had a very poor experience with Triad, the deception about the second key and the wrongly advertised mileage leaves me feel like I was treated unfairly. While I am enjoying my car, every little sound or wobble the car makes, I instantly start to question the car itself and think well what else is wrong with this car that I wasn't informed of? Please read the reviews and believe them, both the bad and good ones. Of course not everyone is going to have the same experience, but if you see the majority of the reviews for something are very similar in what they are saying, that right there is saying something. Again, as I stated before I am enjoying my car, but all of these issues with our purchase do leave thoughts of regret and second guessing on if I should have held off and looked elsewhere. read more

What a load of steaming excrement this place is. I woke up in the morning to a call from Oscar the finance manager. This was a totally unsolicited phone call. I told Oscar that I did not wish to complete any more apps because no one could get me financed and I just gave up. Well Oscar calls me back and tells me I was financed. So I asked if there was a limit to the price of the car and Oscar told me no. So I began to look at the inventory and actually found my dream car and got totally excited about actually having my dream car. So I was supposed to meet Oscar in Graham (a 2 hour ride from Cary) to get the car. I had my driver ready. I was excited but I had not heard from Oscar so I got worried. So I spoke to a salesperson who told me that Oscar was at lunch and would get back to me. Ok...so it is now 3p on a Friday at rush hour and I am waiting for a guy to tell me that I could take a 2 hour drive to get my dream car. No call back. I believe the salesperson who answered the phone sort of "slipped" the big secret because he told me I was NOT financed that I still needed to bring in papers and then they would decide. NOTHING was told to me at all like this. So after he started to back track I asked him to please have Oscar call me back. Oscar told me he just needed the typical documents to confirm things and that was it. So I sent all of the documents.....and I never heard anything else back from Oscar. I attempted to contact Oscar for about 3 hours on and off and he would either not answer his phone, let it go to voice mail, have his sales staff to hang up on me. He did anything but actually speak to me to let me know I was not approved. Can you imagine what a steaming pile of excrement and what part of hell this man is going to go to? He got me all excited about a car....which was totally uninitiated by me. He completely made the first call and lied about being approved. He then was such a sack of vomit not even to have the balls to tell me that he lied and I was not approved. I still have not heard from him and I tried all afternoon to get him. I would run as fast as I can away from this place. FAST. Very VERY fast. I also would LOVE to see Oscar and his miserable self lying on the street as a homeless person because he lost his job. BUYER BEWARE - living in NJ, finding a vehicle advertised by this dealership on Car Gurus, I contracted to buy a 2017 Ford F350. Flying down to complete the purchase, I found that the dealership authorized Iron Diesel & Automotive to ILLEGALLY remove what is known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid system and install a tuner. THIS IS A FEDERAL VIOLATION OF EMISSION LAWS. This information was not disclosed by the seller either in phone conversations or via online sales info. I WOULD HAVE NOT AGREED TO PURCHASE the vehicle as it would have put me in legal jeopardy and prevented me from selling the vehicle if I needed to. While I never completed the deal, and had to jump through hoops to unwrap the deal, I also had to fight for my airfare home and only received 50% of my airfare down and hotel. Buyer Beware! After seeing the car I was looking for in an ad I drove to Graham to test drive. Upon arriving I was told that the car had apparently been so but not to fret the dealership had just the car for me. After walking around the lot and attempts being made to purchase a car (any car) well over my limited budget the salesperson drove me to Greensboro to look at yet another car perfect for me (again not). The car I was shown was covered from front end to bumper with hail damage. Upon returning to the dealership I was shown yet another car and due to low mileage and price range I decided to purchase. I paid cash and was told my mew tags and title should arrive within a couple of weeks. My tags ran out after the 21 days. I called the dealership and was told by the manager to continue to drive the car (on expired tags) and should I be stopped just tell the officer I was waiting on new tags. I expressed my concerns pleaded with the dealership (from sales manger, tags and title agent, finance manager and anyone else I could plead with) and approximately 1.5 weeks after the dealer tag expired I received my tags. During this time of continued calling and pleading for some understanding I was lied to repeatedly. I was told the tags were lost, I was told the title had not been signed by the previous owner, I was told there had been staff changes, I was told individuals were on vacation. so may inconsistencies in stories and so much stress. I thought my stress would be over upon receipt of my tags and title and that I would not have to deal with this dealership ever again. Not so. My air condition went out. My car is a 2016 Chevy Spark with app. 14,000 miles at the time. I was told by the dealership that I would have to pay for service to my car. I attempted to explain train to train warranty to no avail. Luckily for me I contacted the Chevrolet dealership (in another city) who said they would take care of my car (no charge to me). It is so unfortunate for a dealership such as this to not only lie but to take advantage of others, not stand behind their sales, and to do so without thought nor concern to people and their individual circumstances. I explained from the beginning that I am on a fixed income, I explained that I had a certain amount of cash to pay for my new car with. I explained that this car would not only be my first (newer) car but my last due to my finances. None of this mattered obviously, once the dealership cashed my check neither I nor my new car was of any concern to them. Shame on you Triad Mitsubishi. read more

I was scheduled to have a timing belt and water pump installed on September 15 and to pick the car up at 5:00 pm. I ask if the timing belt was a kit, and the Manage stated that each piece was separately ordered. She named each part which included the belt tensioners and water pump. I was called at 3:00 pm and told that the job would not be completed until Monday because my belt tensioner had collapsed and a new one had to be purchased from Raleigh. I stated that this part was to be replaced initially. The Manager stated that this part did not come in. My question is why the job was undertaken when the parts were not all available. My second complaint is that I had ask the Dealership to order a sunvisor clip. The cost for the clip was $4.10 but I noticed on the bill that $49.70 was charged for installing the clip ( I only ask for the clip to be ordered and had not requested that it be installed). The installation simply involves inserting it into the provided slot. I had removed the broken one myself. The Manager stated that Mitsubishi required the labor charge and made no effort to correct their mistake. read more
