    Family reunion!
    Peach D.

This used to be my family's go-to bowling alley about 15 years ago! I also had a personal training client who played in leagues here regularly, so this place holds a special place in my heart. About 6 years ago or so I believe, they went under new ownership. Today was my first time back in 8 years ______________ The good: SERVICE! I see everyone talking about how bad the service was, but I had the OPPOSITE experience. Everyone was so friendly and warm! The man at the front desk gave us a few extra minutes so that we could finish our game. We were also to ask for several 6lb balls with no issue. The woman who was working brought out bigger cups for us so that we wouldn't have to keep refilling our waters. And the man was working at the food counter brought us pitchers of water without us even asking! Unpopular opinion, but I actually hated the original staff that worked here because they were always very grumpy and rude. My entire family was complimenting the customer service of the staff today! Free water! I know that there's a sign saying you can't bring in your own water, but they literally have a station with ice cold water for you to refill for free as often as you want to. In the past, they would charge us for cups of water. Air: there is AC now! Ball selection: They have their bowling balls organized by weight on a back wall, which I LOVE. Food: The food has changed, but it's still pretty good! They used to have club sandwiches, burgers, and steak fries, and now it's mostly pizza and wings. Their club sandwiches were the stuff of dreams... But thankfully, their new food (particularly the pizza) is actually still really good--the best I've had for bowling alley food Lanes: bumpers are now automated Ambiance: I personally HATE bowlero, 300, lucky strike, and all of those "lounge" alleys that make me feel blind. I love that Westminster lanes still has a very old-school classic bowling alley feel to it __________ The bad: The lanes: They upgraded a lot of the areas, but the lanes and chairs have no been upgraded. Restrooms: Even with the upgrades, the bathrooms still reek of sewage. I don't think they've upgraded them at all Price: honestly outrageous for such a still outdated alley Per game: they do not have a per game option _______ Overall, still remains my favorite alley. Many fond memories were created here and when I feel like treating myself since they're so expensive.... I will definitely come here again

Whelp, like most things from yesteryear, it's overpriced. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. We went on Saturday around 3pm and the only option was to purchase a lane for $45/hour. We got a pitcher of beer and some fries, totaling $40 with tip. The beer was flat and tasted off and the garlic fries... greasy is an understatement.

Decent pricing but bunch of flaws to see here. Smells awful coming in. There is so much litter and smoke especially this guy here seen around next the entrance. The owner(s) need to do better putting better rules. Especially with kids coming in groups. Decor is outdated and can be updated. Service was flat but just passing. Restrooms do need a huge clean up and upgrade. We would be best to avoid this bowling spot.

If you want to go to a country only bowling ally this is the place, pure disappointment. gotta love when the manager sings along to every song on the loud speaker. He taunts you as you play .. it's very odd, I'd go to valley view lanes I were you!

Horrible birthday experience, didn't no honor the 20% discount advertised, my sister asked for a 6lb ball the manager not only refused to give it to her & also then made us remove the bumpers on one player ... last we asked for a music change since they were playing county, they not only took $25 from us just to change the music... sad seemed like the manager was really on one too sticking with valley view lanes 100%

I have not been to Westminster Lane in YEARS! I finally walked in last weekend for a birthday party. I can't comment on price since we were party guests and shoes/lane time/food was covered for us. The kids had a blast though! They liked that they could change the scoreboard to various kid friendly screens like Angry Birds that animated while they played. The built in bumpers were cool. You could choose which players had bumpers and which ones did not. When I was a kid, the bumpers were these yellow inflatable things so it was pretty much all or nothing lol We had cheese and pepperoni pizza for lunch. They were pretty tasty.

    Having fun!

I had the best time taking my kids and my oldest son's friends bowling! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we all had a blast. We can't wait to go back for more fun!

    Pizzas. So good

We had a great time at the Lanes. We didn't expect their food to be so good we were truly blown away. There was one cook working I believe Chris was her name. I asked her what she does for her fries to be so nice and crispy and the burgers so juicy. Bartender was super fast too and the front staff Tony and the one girl sorry forgot her name but they were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this bowling place and we will only come back here from now on

I was worried they may not be able to accommodate, but they were happy to take us. We had a lot of first time bowlers (kids and adults alike), and they had lots of questions, requests, etc. Again, the staff handled it like pros. Their snack bar was well stocked, and they have a handful of arcade machines. The place is modern and clean, from the floors to the restrooms, and there's seating in the rear with a pool table and a room for birthday parties and such. On the outside it appears quite small, but they did a good job maximizing the space. More importantly though, their staff were friendly and handled our group like they do this regularly - friendly and knowledgable. We will certainly be returning in the future, and I hope you do as well. :)

However we did have a slight wait before we could start bowling which was expected. We looked around and there were a bunch of unused lanes so we went to ask about that and the server told us we could just use any lane so we went to ask the girls at the counter and the girl at the counter was so extremely rude. It was such a turnoff wtf. The server was super nice though. We preferred to order with him instead of using the QR code because the internet is non existent in this place. And to use the WiFi, you had to put in your email, which I didn't want them to have my email. So that was annoying. We got a pizza, which tasted pretty good but was extremely greasy lol! The bowling itself was kind of weird too because all the pins had a string attached to them and that's how they would reset them. Which was crazy because I felt like the strings would sometimes prevent the pins from falling at times, messing up our game. Boo hoo. I do like the retro vibes with the music videos and Space Jam movie but the music was too quiet and they played Space Jam 3 times while we were there! Yikes!!! Lol overall, would maybe come back if it was the cheapest place but probably not otherwise!

This building is very nostalgic and has been designated a historic landmark. Apologies for not taking photos of the bowling alley. My friend and I both chuckled when we entered into the building because both of us were added bowlers back in our high school days. And often times we would grab a hotdog, hamburger, or fries from the diners or snack bars that were part of the bowling alley facility. We sat down and Alex our server promptly handed us menus and two glasses of water. The restaurant was getting a bit crowded as there was a league that was about to start and many other bowlers were coming to grab a quick soda or bite to eat. Alex however was able to manage this crowd and still was able to take our order quickly. We decided on pizza that had sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and bell peppers as our toppings. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for the pizza to arrive, but we were not in a hurry as we were still trying to catch up with one another. I would have to say that this pizza is one of the most delicious that I've had. The crust was not too thin was not too thick, but very crunchy and there were plenty of cheese and toppings and the price was moderate in fact very affordable. By the way, we ordered a medium size pizza which is 12 inches in diameter. In spite of the fact that it's inside a bowling alley facility, it was quiet. Easy for one to have a conversation. Although he has been almost 40 years since I have picked up a bowling ball, I might come back grab a bite to eat here and then head out to the lanes and see if I can manage to hang onto a bowling ball! We came with another family, with five children between us, and we used it less as a bowling alley than as a bowling-themed play area for our children. I honestly can't even evaluate it as a bowling alley, but it entertained our kids plenty. Our friends got unlimited bowling, I believe as part of a larger package that included MagiQuest access and other things of interest to their oldest child. The rest of us freeloaded on their lane. We went twice, once on each day of our Great Wolf Lodge stay, and the kids were all quite into it. They were so well occupied, we were able to sit, eat, and drink while they played. The lanes were short, with bumpers, and the balls were small enough for my two-year-old to pick up. We had to stay on him to prevent hand injuries and general chaos (he was fascinated by the ball return, and also indifferent to which lane, if any, he cast the balls), but he enjoyed himself. Our four-year-old actually got the gist of the game. He had a great time, and talked very proudly about how it was his first time bowling. He was terrible at it, somehow managing to throw gutterballs despite the bumpers (that's my boy), but it's not like the kids were keeping score or bowling in order. I didn't pay attention to the machines and am fairly sure not all of them even worked. I think one of the lanes was out of commission while we were there, and not because our kids broke it (I'm 90% sure about this). I was going to rate Ten Paw Alley four stars, but I'm rounding up to counterbalance the Yelper who gave it one star because she wanted a real bowling alley inside of the children's play emporium. If you're an adult looking to bowl with your adult friends, this is not the place for you. It is a nice spot, though, if you're one of its core customers: a child or parent already staying at Great Wolf Lodge.
