This place... What a disgrace... I come to run in and out of Macy's QUICKLY that's it. Pathetic....

This mall used to be pretty crappy but its actually starting to look a lot better. If you were to ask me a few years ago this place would've gotten 1 star but its getting better. There are still a lot of empty stores which makes the place looks pretty sad but it seems much cleaner. If you are used to South Coast this is the total opposite, think of it as a indoor swap meet. But it has gotten cleaner and there are decent shopping stores still but it still has some ghetto mom and pop shops that try to rip you off any chance they get. But like I said its getting better. read more

It's fun mall. Nothing too fancy, but not like this mall is a dump or anything. The problem with the mall are the people, the smell, and the food. This smell feels like I am going to a convention where no one wears any deodorant. It's not like so bad you'll run away, but it's just ok. The food didn't seem to be cooked well, or was there an hour or two ago. The people are ok. Nothing much to say. I only go to this mall, because it has a good game store there and some anime Merch that is hard to come by. read more

This mall use to use to be great..now it's a ghost town. A lot of stores are closed, only one restroom is open (upstairs), out dated carpet through out the mall, and plenty of parking. The only place that's busy is the luxe buffet, and sky zone. They are also opening a John's incredible pizza in the summer. Overall, this place is similar to Buena park mall.. which sucks! read more

0 offense to whoever works at this mall but it is complete trash. I've been to many malls around California and this one is one of the worst ones I've been to. Besides the mall in Tracy, CA, I haven't seen so many vacancies so close together. I give the developers props for having target, macys, and jc pennys but I'm going to guess that they will slowly close up shop. I'm not really sure how companies stay afloat here because there is very little foot traffic going on. It seems like every store has "for sale " signs almost as if they're going to move out. Aeropostle is closing down here, which I know the company is already struggling, but I just don't see how this mall will ever make it until they start putting in stores people care about. They don't need so many random small sized gift stores. They should study more successful malls because I don't know what would happen to this whole development if the mall ended up dying. Yes, this mall is pretty dead but it has the stores that I normally shop in (forever 21, target, Charlotte rousse, wet seal, and the couple other fashion stores that they have). I'm just avoiding the crowd at Cerritos mall and south coast plaza. read more

I stopped by here to go to DSW. The Westminster Mall has a "dead mall" feel to it. It was incredible empty and scarce inside. I suppose that's a good thing for parking. When I went inside, there are several store fronts that are vacant, so they likely having a hard time filling these. Also their anchor stores consist of Target, Macy's, Sears, and JC Penney......Macy's is the only one I'd consider a decent anchor store. The other 3 you don't need to go to a mall for.....who goes to Sears ? LOL. I saw they have The Luxe Buffet.... I may try it sometime.....my guess is this mall is being cannibalized by Outlets in Orange. Nothing wrong with the situation, but definitely has the feel of a "has been" mall. read more

I think this one of those dieing mall. We roll in around 11:00am on Saturday morning and the parking lot was empty. Beside those anchor store got customers walk around, otherwise the whole mall just look dead. I wonder how long it will last. read more

Beats any other mall out here and gets the job down! So sad the Sanrio store is gone but thats becoming a new trend in the malls out here except for South Coast :( . It's always super hot in here.. How does this place even make it?! So many stores have gone out of business. There were hardly any people walking around at noon on a Thursday. It was so stuffy inside. I'm pretty sure most of the stores either didn't have a/c or just didn't have it turned on. I also noticed a strong mold smell on the lower level. Possibly the old carpet that they have throughout the mall? So disappointing. Won't be coming back. read more

One of the malls I frequented as a child. Many landmarks have remained or gone; I remember the McDonalds before it was a Burger King; the Robinsons May before it was Macy's; and when Macy's first opened up and occupied the current location of Target. I've never left this place without having Cinnabon, and it's sad to see this place die down. read more

When I was a kid, there used to be crocodile statues to play and climb around. Also, there were several other animal statues inside the mall but I forgot what they look like. I also enjoy the food court over there. read more

Haven't been to this mall in over 4 years. Seriously I was here on a Friday afternoon, I think total i saw 10 shoppers walking around. Food court is messy and the tables look like they were last cleaned on Wednesday. Some good stores, alot of closed stores. If you are on the FBI 10 most wanted list and need a place to hide, come to this mall nobody will ever find you. Mall is so empty of life. What mall has carpeting all throughout?? Dirty with drink and food spills, needs to be cleaned. Old out dated 70's mall that need major up grades or need to be torn down and replaced. It's just sad to watch this mall go down. It once had its glory days, bustling with people and stores. Now like another yelper said it seems geared to lower to mid income, and only the locals. But it was once a gem with a good selection of stores. I don't need Saks but the stores they have are like no name, fashion bug stores. I will miss it if it closes, if I go now it's to best buy or outback near by. Catering only to immediate locals means ur not reaching out to other demographics just 5 miles away. Theres no mall in nearby los alamitos or cypress. Wish it the best, 2. Stars, and 4 stars for its glory days. Up note, now it's empty parking is awesome. Unless ur in target parking area. It does still have a few good anchor stores. Macys, Sears for tools, but I rarely go inside mall anymore. Just those anchors and then leave. read more

This mall use to be very crowded, but now it isn't anymore. It looks like people are going to the other better malls around Orange County. This mall has tried hard fixing things up to lure in customers but it hasn't. Also people want to go to malls filled with different stores instead of a mall with only a couple of stores. The Simon's Company should do something to change the image of this mall to attract customers to shop here. The only reason that still brings me back to this mall is because of the Best Buys, Macy's, Target, JC Penney, and Sears. Overall this mall is an okay place to go shopping. read more

It may look like a standard and typical mall but there were some quirks I noticed when I was here. First, the bathroom has a box for you to throw away syringes. I've never seen this before. So, to the Yelpers who love heroin, the bathroom here is a perfect place for you to shoot up; the bathroom here is clean and welcoming Second, the food court has a Vietnamese restaurant called Lee's Sandwiches. That restaurant is special to me because it sells DURIAN boba. I seriously love DURIAN and anything DURIAN flavored, I'll always love. We Asians call it "the king of fruits" for a reason. I've never been to an American mall that sells DURIAN boba in the food court so that's unique to me. A big thank you to some of the Vietnamese people who always have that fruit in their restaurant and supermarkets (not ALL Vietnamese restaurants have DURIAN boba; that's why I give props to SOME that has it) So, those are the only two things that I find unique about this mall. It looks like any typical mall with stores such as Gap and macy's. Nothing new and exciting read more

This mall kinda blows. Actually no it full on blows. It doesn't really have any stores for a man, not a real man anyway. Nothing here really satisfies and the food court is lacking. Well wow this Mall used to be something back then during high school years, apparently the economy hit pretty bad here in a way, some stores closed down like Anchor Blue and few others, It was pretty cool back then, then they brought Target, they do have a mens section in Forever 21 at last LOL, but South Coast Plaza Mall still is way better then Westminster Mall, how things have changed indeed. read more

I dont know what happened to Westminster Mall, but it has gone down hill over the last 5 or more years. The best stores are the Zumies, Vans, Book-Off, and maybe 1 or 2 more. Everything else seems pretty dead or just about to close down. The carpet makes the mall smell old and lonely. Hopefully the mall will be revived again, but for now Ive def experienced better! read more

I love Westminster Mall but the mildew/mold smell in the Ny&Co dressing room was so over powering that I got a headache and had to run the hell out of there. I hope I don't end up with health problems. It was seriously rampant. read more

This mall is a ghost town! Way back in the 90's when malls were in their heyday this place was hopping. But I guess it's a sign of the times. Possibly at its most crowded in the hour before any stores open, when the old people go there to walk. So if you don't like crowds, this mall is a pretty good choice, though there are quite a few empty store fronts now. read more

What the heck happened to this mall?!?! It has a few standard large mall stores like Macy's, Victoria's Secret, The Gap - and even a Target. For that I gave this mall the first star. The second star was given for the fact that it is not crowded. But the rest of the mall is pathetic. The stores are tired or dead. They have some of the most random stores with garage sale-type things like large Victorian dolls, low quality Dollar store type items and home-made crafts (WHO buys that stuff?!?). The mall itself is old, worn and tired. It just seems to have lost any energy it ever had. I stopped in to pick up a gift at Macy's and, as I walked through the halls of the general mall, I saw families walking around barefoot (with nasty feet), people dressed like they are going to Walmart (yep, like the gag pictures you get in your e-mail inbox), and sales people that look half asleep. It was like being in a bad movie spoof. read more

This shopping center has a very good selection of store branded products, and a food court offers a variety of food, but it also had dirty toilets. read more

They have remodeled! The layout is still crap but it is so much nicer and they put carpet in which makes it less noisy. I like this place so much better now. And the food court is really pretty nice now. I think if it had a movie theater and nordstrom I would never go anywhere else. read more

Target and Victoria Secret are the only two stores I really stop at here. Sometimes Cinnabon or DSW will pull me in. Other than that, the mall is small and does not have much to offer. read more

Malls in California really seem so unnecessary. The weather here is perfect with no humidity, so indoor malls seem to be overkill. My guess is that stores that lease here have to pay higher to keep the mall air conditioned and transfer the cost it the customers. Having said that, their is a good selection of stores but it's a small selection and it's really not exciting. Parking can be bad especially around the Target. Even if you can't get parking, the mall seems dead. They'll need to put more quality stores or better restaurants in here. read more

Came here twice in the week before Xmas including Xmas eve! Both times finding parking was a breeze and the place was for the most part not that crowded. Did see a pretty big line in the GameStop but other than that....it seemed sadly uncrowded. Guess the economy did a number on it this year. read more
