Went to the Lunar New Year Flower Festival & Night Market in Little Saigon with my husband on Feb. 5, 2026. This is probably the closest place for us to get that Lunar New Year vibe but since we're very familiar with the area, we pretty much finished one lap and then decided to head elsewhere for food. For anyone interested, here are the details: **23rd Annual Lunar New Year Flower Festival** Asian Garden Mall 9200 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683 Dates: 1/29 - 2/15/2026 Flower market vendors: Daily 10AM - 10PM (Located at the main plaza right in front of Asian Garden Mall) Food night market vendors: Thursday-Sunday only, 6PM - 10PM (The food stalls are on the left side as you face the mall) Just a heads-up: the flower market itself is actually pretty small. You can walk through it in one short loop. Vendors sell flowers, red envelopes, Lunar New Year decorations, couplets, hanging ornaments, firecrackers, and some traditional Vietnamese outfits. If you're coming specifically for a big flower market, it's good to manage expectations because it's quite limited. On the left side, there's a short row of food stalls offering grilled meats, seafood, Vietnamese spring rolls, fried snacks, sugarcane juice, steamed corn, grilled corn, and more. The selection is fairly diverse. Since there are regular storefronts right across from the stalls, the area feels lively at night, with temporary tables and chairs set up- definitely has that night market vibe. Most food vendors (like 9 out of 10) don't list prices, so you'll need to ask and they're cash only. If you're expecting a huge flower festival or cheap night market food, you might feel a bit disappointed. Prices are on the higher side, more like special event pricing. That said, it's a once-a-year festive atmosphere, so if you're already there, might as well enjoy it and not overthink the cost. At night, you'll see lots of Vietnamese families coming out together to eat, and there were even aunties and uncles singing and dancing in front of the mall. It was pretty fun to watch. Parking gets very crowded in the evening and can be tough, so street parking nearby and walking over might be easier. The mall itself closes around 7PM, but if you come earlier, it's actually worth spending some time inside. The second floor is split pretty evenly- half of it is clothing shops, and the other half is jewelry stores selling diamonds and gold. I even had my engagement ring resized here before, and the pricing was very reasonable. There's also a food court on the first floor, so if the night market food doesn't appeal to you, you can eat inside the mall, walk across to the Seafood Palace plaza, or head a bit further toward the plaza nearby T & K Supermarket for more dining options. read more

I go here every so often to take a walk. Shops have changed through the years. I wish the pho 56 was still there! It was some of the best pho I've had in a mall. The front, back and top of the roof have too many people smoking cigarettes, so be careful walking around. read more

Asian Garden Mall, known in Vietnamese as Phước Lộc Thọ, is a shopping center in Westminster, California, and one of the largest Vietnamese-American shopping malls. We've been to this Asian Garden Mall in Westminster a few times, and it was an interesting mall to walk around. The mall has a lot of jewelry stores, toy stores, clothing stores even traditional Vietnamese outfits. However, we couldn't find anything to buy, though. It had a lot of authentic Vietnamese food in the food court. They also have dim sum there. They celebrate the Lunar New Year or Vietnamese New Year (Tết), and we've been to their Night Market before, and it was fun to see many food vendors there. It's always a bit challenging to look for parking spaces there. P.S. If you wanna buy something there, make sure to prepare some cash. read more

My goodness, I can only imagine this place in its heyday. According to my family, it was busy and full of food vendors and diverse shops. This has been a staple in the neighborhood for a long while. The number of eateries has dropped, but you can still find plenty of great traditional dishes that are ready-made or made-to-order. Bring cash, as some vendors charge credit card processing fees. As far as retailers go, this is a good place to shop for jewelry, clothing, toys, and Little Saigon souvenirs. Prices seemed on the higher end, perhaps to cater to tourists. Events are still held here, as evidenced by the stages for performances. When we came on a weekend, not much was going on - the focus seemed to be on shopping and dining. Oh, and it was quite warm... the AC wasn't on, unfortunately, and it was quite a sunny day. Parking wasn't awful for us at all. A place you can't miss if you're around the Santa Ana area and love asian foods! This place was one of my favourite malls to visit ever since i was a little kid, so coming back was an amazing feeling! I'd recommend walking around the small market shops outside, they have so many things ranging from new year items, food, and decor! The inside of the mall is also a delight, with so many other small restaurants, it's a must try for their dim sum or sugar cane drinks! There is also an upstairs that has more jewelry, clothes, and shampoo, more based on home items. BRING CASH and hungry belly. : ) My annual visi to the Asian Garden Mall/Phuoc Loc Tho for Tet/Chinese New Year market. There were Vietnamese music, lots of venders selling New Year items, fruits and lots of fireworks! : ) There are many places to eat inside and outside as well. Tet this year will be on Wednesday 1/29/2025 so Tet Market will be going on until the last weekend prior to this day. I got to see Dragon Dancers as well! It felt like home away from home for a moment with all the beautiful plants, flower, exotic/tropical fruits and Tet accessories for decoration. They have this 1x/year around Tet. It was not so crowded around 7PM on a Saturday night compare to years prior to COVID. Some kids and adults dressed up in their traditional Ao Dai to celebrate which was nice to see. Parking: Free. What a cultural experience! So many delicious food stalls, jewelers, and collectible stores. I really enjoyed browsing here and found some little toys and trinkets that were a deal I couldn't find any where else. The restrooms here are also immaculately clean. Pro-tip: it's cash preferred in most places or at least $20 minimum purchase for credit card. There is an atm on site however if you want to exchange for cash. I remember coming here as a kid but haven't been back until recently for the lunar new year market. The market was very festive with fresh flowers/bamboo/orchids and a lot of lunar new year candies and decorations. There wasn't a lot of food options and more for shopping. There is a stage for performances but I didn't see anything happening in a weekday afternoon. Inside the mall are shops selling jewelry, traditional Vietnamese outfits, and a a food court area. This place is always talked about and considered a "must see" when in OC. I'm not sure if it is because I've been here too much or if things have changed but I don't personally see the hype. I remember coming here as a kid and it was way more exciting. It does give me a nostalgic feel now as an adult whenever I'd take my parents when they're in town. However there truly isn't much going on here besides the occasional night markets or during lunar new year when it is more packed. There are varieties of shops located inside that ranges from jewelry, clothing, anime, K-pop, to a full food court. The building is outdated both inside and out but if you grew up coming here with your family, then it definitely still provides that nostalgia feeling. read more

When I was younger and my parents would take us down to SoCal, we would always stop by here. Since we were in SoCal and Hubby has never been, I thought that it'll be nice to take him here! We arrived and had a little bit of trouble finding parking due to majority of it in the front being time limited. We drove around a little and was able to find a spot near the side of the building. Upon walking in, there's many shops/restaurants and jewelry stores. I originally wanted to come to buy a nice jade pendant or bracelet, but a lot that I've seen weren't what I was looking for. Hubby and I stopped by for some food and we grabbed some sugarcane juice before walking around. We spotted a store that sells Ao Dai's and decided to walk in to look around. I have always wanted to get traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai's but never got the chance to. I found a few that I liked and tried them on and I had Hubby do the same. One of the most popular landmarks in Little Saigon! I've been coming here ever since I was little considering I live a block away. They've changed very little and have stayed true to the Vietnamese culture that they've embodied. They have a huge range of shops and at very affordable prices. The food court, bakery, restaurant, makeup counters, clothing shops, and a couple of jewelry stores are on the first floor. There are other clothing stores, arcade, and the rest of the other jewelry counters on the second floor. It is definitely a place for tourists because of all the fun toys and cute gadgets that they have. The parking is a lot more spacious in the back and they've just recently added more to the side a couple of years ago. Highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area! :) read more

We parked on the street and walked to the mall itself. We walked in the mall which most stores were already closed. But as soon as we stepped outside it was crazy busy. We could smell all the food. Man, Love the Asian Garden Mall. Been coming here since the late 90s, and it has not changed one bit. There is always good food and entertainment here on the Vietnamese Holidays,. So much clothes and jewelry you can buy here, like any other malls. They are just minutes away from the Westminster Mall. But, this is a different kind of mall with limited parking. Sometimes you may have to park across from the street of the mall. I see lots of new stores and restaurants here. So, its nice to know that the mall is still doing well financially. read more

Haven't been here in years. Still dead on weekdays, but the quality of shops and dining options are amazing. Little Saigon and this Asian Garden Mall (two stories tall) is well designed and walkable, with lots of fashion retailers, Vietnamese restaurants, nail/hair salons, bakeries, beverage shops, grocery markets, medical clinics, jewelry stores, gift shops, etc. Parking lot is huge. Enter from back or front entrance. There's plenty to see by walking across the streets too. Looks pretty clean and organized to me. Jewelry section on the second floor. There's lots of space for events, religious gatherings, performance on stage, and more. It really looks and feels like Vietnam if you walk around to observe. The shopping mall doesn't have much customers or tourists inside these days. Super clean place. I absolutely enjoyed the food court options. Some places are worth revisiting in the Los Angeles county region. They have plenty of local security staffs onsite too. Good investment. ATM machine exists. Public restrooms is convenient. I think the food court and views from every angle inside the building is awesome. There's lots of potentials to grow this place. I've been coming here for years with family and now my own family. Its an indoor Asian mall filled with a food court, souvenir shops, and a ton of competing jewelry shops. You can find a good deal on a lot of items here and bargain with the many different vendors since there's so much competition inside. I used to come back then when the monks used to stand outside in the scorching sun barefooted holding their donation baskets. Ever since Covid I haven't seen them anymore. read more

I visited this Asian mall since it's supposedly a must see, and a spot to take photos (in front) when visiting the OC, at least for the vietnamese crowd, and maybe mostly the older crowd. I had driven by it once or twice while living in OC years ago but never actually stopped and came inside. Like other reviewers say, it's a mix of shops down below with some closed our out of business, and upstairs is mostly jewelry or medical spaces. A pretty historic landmark and a must visit during the summer festivals they host. During the day the place is pretty quiet but it's a great place to buy jewelry - real gold and diamonds. Parking can be limited during peak hours but there is a lot of space available. The night market food is very good but definitely Up-priced. A bit of a mixed review that may not be accurate since I came on Lunar New Year (1.22.23). You pay for parking on the holiday, AND some of the streets are shut down. (5/5) The lion dance and the fireworks themselves were amazing. It was really fun watching the lion dancers interact with the kids and taking the LiXi (red envelopes). They started off with bowing to the statues and proceeded their way around the building. If you come on a holiday, be prepared to wait 1+ hour for food bc it's so packed and crazy. Located on Bolsa Ave., in Westminster is this nice Vietnamese Mall. They have ample parking but they do get busy during the weekends and holidays. We came on a Sunday afternoon so the crowd wasn't that much. We have been coming here several times before I made a review and so far all the vendors on the first and second floors are all nice and accommodating. They have all kinds of street food so better come in hungry. I would suggest for first timers to always browse each food vendor and amaze yourself with all the choices they and then finally make your decision.
