I have a terrible fear of dental work....i thought that I would need to be IV sedated so I made an appointment with Dr Limosani to have my root canal done. He was so extremely patient with me and talked me through the process. He said that if he couldn't get me prepared enough with other options that we would continue with the IV. We prepped with a pill an hour before my visit and when I arrived I was still pretty tense so he gave me some Nitrous (which honestly I had before and it didn't work)...with a little tweak of the nitrous I was ready to go! A miracle! lol dr Limosani performed the root canal and I couldn't be happier because I now know I don't need the IV sedation, and I feel so much more confident to face future dental appointments..... thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Limosani! They went above and beyond to reassure and help me with the process and procedure. She gave me several options and did not make feel rushed. Dr. Tink performed a root canal on me yesterday after suffering for three days with pain. She was referred by my dentist and her office made an appointment to get me in there within one hour! Her mannerisms and knowledge put me at ease immediately. She and her assistant communicated during the entire process and I never felt frightened for one minute. I don't think you any root canal can be called a great experience, but if there is one, this is it. I was referred to Dr Tink for a root canal by my primary dentist. I've had root canals done before so I was not looking forward to having one done. Dr Tink explained the process prior to the procedure and she even told me what she was doing as she was performing the root canal. There was little discomfort and later that evening, I did not have to take any pain medication. She cleaned out 5 canals in one tooth and she (along with her dental assistant) performed the procedure flawlessly with the most modern tools and equipment that I have ever seen. After supplying my Insurance (great 100% coverage), scheduled an appt. for a root canal and supply them with all my personal info., including a week old X-rays and referral by my general Dentist, the office called to say that they are not in-network!! I asked to destroy my personal info and that they should use due-diligence. Two hrs. Later they called back stating they are in fact within network BUT they would require $400.00 for the evaluation visit and that would be out-of-pocket!!! That's against their own Insurance contract. Mind you my Insurance reimburses over $800.00 for the procedure! This called Fraud! read more

Yesterday, I was squeezed in as an emergency patient. I am a previous patient of Dr. Limosani and I was sad to hear that he would not be able to see me as he was working at the Aventura office & was completely booked. I was in so much pain, I needed to be seen immediately. Dr. Tink evaluated my tooth and gave me the news that I already anticipated since I'm a frequent flier when it comes to needing root canals. Then she gave me the additional bad news that she would have to put me on pain meds until next Wednesday when she had time in her schedule. However, once I told her that I was leaving in 2 days for a week vacation out of town for spring break, she didn't even blink an eye and immediately said that she would stay late and take care of me. Thanks to Dr. Tink's kindness and skill, I am writing this review after having an excellent procedure, a painless full night's sleep and an appreciation for a doctor that has excellent bedside manner and empathy! I was able to make an appointment for the initial consultation on very short notice, and then my surgery was scheduled for the next day. Dr. Limosani was referred to by my dentist and I was quite skeptical driving there having had a negative experience with an endodontist in the past. Once you get there, you will meet the friendly staff that will make you feel very comfortable and then Dr Limosani who is very welcoming and explains everything in detail. Made an appointment for an emergency pain visit. It was promised that the doctor would have time to perform the root canal. I made this very clear as I knew I needed a root canal. The pain was severe and I had been living with it all weekend. After consultation - at 3:30 pm - the doctor indicated that he would not have time after all. He indicated that the appointment would have to be made for TWO days later. The tooth is throbbing - very sensitive to cold - and was told to just apply a cold compress. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more
