Our company purchased a 2019 Nissan NV200 cargo van from Weston Nissan about four years ago with only 6,000 miles on it. We were told the vehicle was in great condition, and we even paid extra for a premium extended warranty for peace of mind. As a business, this van is critical to our daily operations, and we have always maintained it properly and serviced it on time. Recently, at only 45,000 miles, the check engine light came on. We took it to another Nissan dealership in Orlando, where we were told the catalytic converters need to be replaced at a cost of $9,000. Naturally, we expected this to be covered under warranty--only to find out that the vehicle has aftermarket catalytic converters, which voids the warranty coverage for that repair. This was NEVER disclosed to us at the time of purchase. How is it acceptable for a dealership to sell a vehicle with aftermarket parts--especially emissions-related components--without informing the buyer? And then sell an extended warranty on top of that? This feels extremely misleading and dishonest. If we had known about these modifications, we would have never purchased the vehicle under those terms. If you are considering buying from Weston Nissan, be very careful. I have been looking for a car for my brother nationwide and came across this dealership. They afford online paperwork and shipping of your vehicle. My salesman Davin was by far the greatest. When it got to the financial part, our paperwork kept getting messed up, with wrong prices and incorrect spelling of names. We also had our own financial banks (Chase and Navy Federal) but decided to go with Nissan Financial since the interest rate was 1.5% lower. The financial department sent the paperwork UPS overnight and wanted us to send it back. Not only did we have to pay for this paperwork to be sent back, but they have not given me a refund of $53.00. We were not supposed to be charged for this paperwork being sent overnight. I have been calling and calling trying to get in touch with the finance department and the sales manager when I finally got in touch with Pedro (sales manager) he ruldely rushed Me off the phone saying I have other customers in front of me and told me that he did not secure finance and was not shipping the Vehicle. We just don't understand because we did all this paperwork. I spoke with Nissan Financial LLC, and they said the loan was approved and we should have our car soon. And if Nissan Financial did not approve this loan, We had 2 other banks to cover this transaction. No one ever contacted us. No one said anything. I was told by someone who works there that Pedro did not want to ship us our car because he did not feel comfortable because we are black and the fact that we were buying from out of state. I asked again about my deposit that was held on this vehicle, and he Ruldely stated Your money is being refunded back to your card."" After searching high and low and weeks on end, I've decided to go for a Nissan vehicle. I've test driven a few makes and models and been to several dealerships but finally made my decision today after visiting Weston Nissan. When I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist and they got Baltazar for us. He was a friendly gentleman that was very thorough with showing the vehicle we wanted to us. He went over all of the specifications and details this vehicle had to offer. Vehicles these days are very advance and technological, I really appreciate the time he spent going over it before and after the sale. He went back and forth to his manager until the numbers fit our budget. After about 20 minutes, we've made an awesome deal. The finance manager was also friendly and went over our paper work super quick. I'd have to say, nobody there was pushy. I got the plates and registration right then and there; they also gave the vehicle a car wash and full tank of gas. I also get 2 free oil changes. In the end, I was there for about two hours but I felt comfortable in there. It wasn't overly busy and the dealership was really immaculate. They also serve coffee and tea. It was a returned lease with about 14,000 miles and still had the original warranty. Our salesman Eduardo was a pleasure to work with. Turns out the front radar sensor was defective and their service department was also a pleasure to work with. However today I went to do an oil change only and after 20 minutes the gave me my car back. When I started the car ...it did not...only after the 3rd try it started and the engine light was on......I went to my advisor and she send me to the Service manager (his name is Eddie Barron what I was told)....when he saw what it is he said ...you have a problem that is not us as we did only the oil change.....I said that the car was perfect before the oil change and now is not drivable...he said to me that is your problem and refuse to check the car.....I argue with him that he must fix it or let me know what is the problem.....then he said if I pay $199 he will check it...I refused to pay and the car was perfect before the oil change ....as I argue he told me to leave the dealership or he will call the police.....I said to call the police......When the police arrived they told me very nicely that if he ask me to leave...I have to leave.
