Review Update* This is still my go-to spot to get an oil change and their rewards card that you can put on your keychain is what kept me coming. After you get your oil changed three times (I think), the next one is free and I finally got my free oil change! I knocked off a star since my last review only because it's been so hard to get an appointment here. When I need my oil change or car serviced, I'll usually have to plan in advance because their appointments are usually a few weeks already booked. They also have been taking way longer than normal. My last oil change was supposed to be an hour and a half maximum but ended up being close to four hours because he forgot to notify me it was ready. Other than that, my car rep is always nice. I usually see Corey Guy and he's my fav person to go to there. Always super helpful! If you plan to wait, they have tables, chairs, couches, tv, complimentary water, and popcorn. Plus, free wifi. They also have a car service that can take you to nearby areas and pick you up after you're done. I used this to go to an appointment I had while my car was being serviced a few appointments ago. Overall, still a good spot for car service and oil changes. read more

If I could leave minus stars I surely would. Bought my wife's Sante Fe new back in 2023. I won't even go into the horrible experience we had buying a car there. Recently, a rattle started to occur when driving the car on the highway. I found the problem. It was the trim at the top of the rear hatch coming loose. As I was pressed for time I told my wife to bring the car to the dealer and have them tighten it up. They were going to charge her $350 just to look at the vehicle. She left. When she told me what happened I immediately called corporate. The end result was that the defect wasn't covered under the warranty. So much for the 200000 mile bumper to bumper. When I got a chance I took a look at it. There was a weather seal covering the screw connecting the trim to the roof. When I removed it a nut fell out. I got a socket wrench and put it back on and tightened it. Fixed in less than 5 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would it have been so difficult to have someone at the dealership take a look at the problem before asking a customer to shell out $350?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So much for creating customer loyalty. Not only will we not consider buying from that dealership again, but the entire Hyundai experience has left us with no desire to buy the brand again. read more

Both the BDC representative and the salesman (Anwar/Andy) reassured me multiple times that the car was indeed powder blue, since I was driving over an hour to get there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This color was the only reason I agreed to do the credit application and the deal over the phone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I arrived, the car was completely different -- it was midnight blue, not the color shown online or confirmed on the phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The salesman brushed it off saying, "Sometimes the photos are wrong." After sitting there for hours, the finance manager found out the black car was actually a 2026 model, not a 2025, and there were no lease programs available as promised. I have been a loyal customer of this location for the past 10 years beginning in 2015 with Genesis. Service throughout the years has been hit and miss until Danny L arrived and was the point person for Genesis. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Danny was excellent in communication and customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Danny left for a better location (can't blame him, this location is third rate). New rep is Danny Shannon. First visit was excellent, subsequent visits have gone downhill including my most recent visit. I was charged for a tire rotation and alignment along with a recommendation to replace my front tires. Danny supplied the cost but unfortunately the dealership did not have the tires in stock. I was told to replace as soon as possible (pictures and video are available if needed). Tires were replaced the following day where it was noted the tires were never rotated. The condition of the tires when I left the dealership were severly threadbare causing alarm from the repair shop and several family and friends. All stated I should have never left the dealership with those tires. I went to the dealership today to speak with Danny Shannon and Robert Toppas (Service Manager). I've been driving my husband's beloved car (Dodge Challenger hemi) for the past couple of years. Lol my husband reminds me that I've driven it more than he has. For a couple of reasons, we decided it was finally time for me to get my own car. I had no clue what I wanted, other than some type of SUV. We went to a couple of different dealerships and met different salespeople (some who were very knowledgeable and some not so much). My final choices were either a Highlander or Passport but when we recently went to a Toyota dealership, there was a Hyundai dealership right next door. We hadn't looked at Hyundais during our search and figured why not. We got to test drive one and it drove smoothly but I wasn't sure if that's what I wanted. We weren't able to test drive it on a highway which was important to my husband because he didn't want to hear road noise. Since they were limited in selection, we decided to leave. Our next search brought us here and our salesman was Evrard Tassy. He told us that people have a hard time pronouncing his first name correctly and said that we could call him ET or Tassy. Tassy was a phenomenal salesman! He was very knowledgeable and patient with us and made an effort to find out what we liked and even did some magic by finding a car for us! He told us about the different features that the car had. Some of the items we didn't even know about! I liked that he didn't pressure us to buy it. The financing part was surprisingly quick! The Finance Manager was so efficient that she had us in and out of her office within 15-20 min! Evrard checked on us the next day to see how we were doing with the car and told us to call him anytime if we had any questions. I was starting the process of looking for a new car after my Mazda CX-5 lease was ending in a few months, and I was considering some of the competing brands. I saw Hyundai's on the road recently but had never considered getting one, but never really looked at them in detail. I went to the Hyundai of North Miami first as it's closer to my home and had a bad experience, so I went to Rick Case as my husband bought his Genesis from the dealership and had a great experience, so I wanted to browse the Rick Case selection. I came on a weekend and was greeted by sales associate Evrard Tassy and he showed me a few different varieties of the Tucson as I wasn't really sure the features or the model that I wanted. I knew the entry models didn't have the features I wanted, so it was between either the Limited or Hybrid models. Tassy took me on a test drive in both models and compared the features with me. I really loved the Limited model and the dealership had a number of different colors of the vehicle to select from. Tassy also was able to easily recall and recap the differences between the 2024 and 2025 models as well. We then went to the showroom and I was introduced to Sales Manager Dane. We went back and forth a few times in the negotiation and came to a price favorable to both parties and they were extremely professional and courteous. Tassy started preparing the car as the finance office was working on the paperwork and the finance manager was also very professional and courteous as well. It really was an absolute pleasure working with the dealership and recommend Rick Case to anyone looking for a car! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience at Rick Case Hyundai.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My wife received a call from the dealership, and after a lengthy conversation, she was assured that a deal could absolutely be made.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She shared all the details upfront while I was present--our desired monthly payment, loan term, and the fact that we'd be trading in our 18-month-old, higher-model Palisade. The representative confirmed with her manager and then came back to confidently say, "We can do it." An appointment was made for us to come in. When we arrived, the specific model we had discussed wasn't even available on the lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The salesperson tried to convince us that the lower model was "practically the same" and even implied it wasn't necessary to test drive the model we actually wanted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I explained that I won't buy a car I haven't test driven. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After repeating this two more times, they finally had the car brought over while we went to dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] During the test drive, I pointed out several differences between the Limited and the Calligraphy models--far more than the "couple" they had mentioned. The salesperson acknowledged each difference. Then came the real shock: the final offer they presented was over $200 more per month than what we had clearly discussed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we pushed back, the salesperson brought in a manager who claimed to be aware of the original conversation. Yet instead of addressing our concerns, he passed us off to another manager who offered a lease deal--something we had made clear from the beginning was not an option for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At that point, I was furious. I reminded them that they had reached out to us, advised us the terms would happen, and knowingly wasted our time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The final manager didn't apologize, offer any explanation, or even make eye contact--he just said, "I understand" over and over.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was the end of it. We walked out. After buying three cars from Rick Case Hyundai and having other family members do the same, we're done. No one should be lied to so blatantly just to be lured into the dealership and then handed a completely different offer. This kind of behavior is exactly why dealerships have such a bad reputation. To be fair, our experience with the service department has always been the opposite--professional, helpful, and efficient. Freddie, in particular, is exceptional. Y'know, after 10 years of coming here for car washes, you'd think that car wash would actually be fixed and useful. I don't come to this car wash often but when I do, I am always disappointed. Made us wait 1.5 hours to offer this, after qualifying us. I NEVER/SELDOM write reviews but I did want to share my experiences with Rick Case Hyundai. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I dealt with Claudio Alverado and the purchase transaction with a trade-in was smooth, cordial and fair[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. If you want professional, see Claudio. Prior to my purchase I visited 3 other dealerships and eliminated 2 because the people needed retraining or another type of work A few weeks later I hand washed my car and found some scratches on the A pillar and on the silver molding around the passenger window. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Claudio was on vacation so I visited the dealership and asked for a sales manager. I met Ernesto, told him about the scratches and about me not receiving my vehicle registration. I showed him the scratches and with no hassle he made a call and Louis from the body shop took the car to work his magic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ernesto introduced me to Dane from Finance who got on the computer and printed out registration and answered a few questions I had regarding the registration and title.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When Louis returned with my car he showed me where the scratches had been and what he had done. It all looked like new. He did a great job. I was in and out in a little over an hour. Get's things done. Full transparency, when I had mud guards installed, with no fault of the service advisor, it took 4 hours to install 4 mud guards. Don't do it. I usually don't go to the dealership for repairs as I have other facilities that I like more. However, my vehicle had recalls which are fixed for free. When making the appointment, it had to be made months in advance and they only made AM appointments and no weekends. Once checked in they said 2 hours at 9:30 am. At 11:00 am I saw my vehicle go up on the lift. 1:27 PM and still not done. And minimal to no updates and communication. If I would have known I would have attempted to make other arrangements instead of spending my day off at the dealership for over 4 hours. Not a good experience. Avoid if possible. read more

From my salesman David Louis to the finance manager that did my paperwork Dane Massey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is my second car with Rick Case and it will definitely be my last. David Louis my salesman told me my Tesla mobile charger will work with my new Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL. That is not accurate. There's TONS of blogs & forums saying otherwise. He literally told me to get my charger serviced. What a joke. He knew I had the mobile charger at my home installed. It's been almost a month and I still haven't been able to get it to work. So I went from charging my car in the safety of my home to having to charge at different charging stations where available. Huge huge dissatisfaction. This is my 7th year with an electric charge so it's expected the level 2 charger be provided. He mislead me. Never disclosed the charger that came with the car is a 120v level 1 charger "for emergencies only" until a week after my sale. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While signing my paperwork, before I completed the documents might I add, I saw the due date 10th of the month. I stopped signing and asked Dane Massey if I can change the due date. That was also not true. I just signed into my online account and the FAQ's clearly state it's not possible with a Lease. Dane knew very well my sale was a lease.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again I stopped, did the right thing and asked requesting to change it before the documents were finalized and was again told something not accurate from another Rick Case representative. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lastly after the sale I get a message from someone (or autobot message) Laura Collins telling me there's a whole staff here to help me. Sent a text to ask a question 9/15. No response. I email to ask a different question 9/18 no response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I change my car every 3 years. I promise it won't be with Rick Case ever again. We were considering changing my husbands truck, it won't be with Rick Case. My parents, siblings & friends already know my experience. Terrible experience! The outside of the car was so filthy I had to drive home with my windows down because the windshield and side windows had a layer of thick dirt. I went back the next day to reset my Tesla in person (because David said I could do it from the Tesla app which was incorrect) so I had to go back the next day. When I told him about the windshield being so dirty I couldn't see very well he turned the windshield wiper fluid in & soaked the windshield so it would self clean. So much that in less than 3 weeks of having the car, I already got the low fluid message on my dashboard. So because the dealership didn't give me a clean washed car, I have to go spend money & time on getting windshield washer fluid in less than a month of having this car. read more

I am a woman who purchased a Lexus 2021 and the service was horrible. It was a used car that was not functioning properly and they willingly gave me this unsafe vehicle. And when I returned to get the issue resolved, I received a loaner vehicle and when my car was returned it smelled like dog. It was absolutely disgusting and horrid. There was also a nail in my tire and when I showed it to the salesman he did not fix the issue, even though he said it was resolved and that "it was only a rock"; and it was not, I have the photos to prove. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He said that overnight my tag would be shipped and he never shipped it to me. And I was postponed even after calling them about this issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From the salesman all the way to the manager, the service was terrible. Bad score on yelp doesn't surprise me, If I could give them a "Zero" I would, Terrible customer service - They are having a tough time diagnosing our intermittent starting issue, 3rd time back in, But what really is disrespectful is they "NEVER" update us the status of the repair, going on 2 weeks without am update or e-mail or anything, I always have to take time out of my busy day and drive down there to get any information at all, And seeing all those Rick Case family ads about great customer service, it's terrible !!! Bought my Hyundai Santa Fe at Rick Case. The service department personnel or very deceitful. 1st time I brought my car in was to have the AC looked at. They told me it was the evaporator had to be replaced. I said while you change that can you also perform an oil change and tire rotation while it was there. Once I received the car back I was asked to sign the paperwork that everything was performed on the car. Once I got home I noticed that the car did not have a oil change sticker on the windshield and also noticed that the tires had not been rotated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately tried getting a hold of the Service advisor and was not successful after numerous messages left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I traveled back to the dealer to talk to them in person and told them the tire rotation was not done and I was also questioning even if the oil change had been done because I was not comfortable with being told the service was done when it was clearly NOT. They apologized to me but told me I had to bring the car back to perform the tire rotation but assured me that the oil change was done just forgot to put sticker in windshield. Hence another appointment was made and time wasted going back to the dealer to have this done that should have been done originally. My next service appointment was a nightmare as well. Had to bring the car back as the car was blowing hot air again. This time I was told they had to change the AC Compressor. I said fine. While it is here can you perform another oil change on the car. They had my car for 2 weeks and during that time they informed me that the water pump was leaking and had to be changed. Once I came back to pick up the car I signed for repairs and service that were allegedly done. Again, once I got home found there to be no window sticker of an oil change. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately called the Service advisor again making several attempts to reach him and a call was made to me eventually.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stated to the service advisor about the window sticker and this time the advisor stated he knows the oil change was done because he reset the oil change button himself. Which was a little weird to me that the service advisor would do that and not one of the shop guys. Following that conversation 2 days later my cars dashboard was telling me that I had to bring the car in for service for oil change. I was lied to and made to believe everything was alright when it clearly wasn't. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A phone call was made to me from the dealer following up with me on how my experience was with Rick Case Hyundai. I voiced all of my concerns to the person who was calling to check and I was told they would get back to me. "Still waiting for my phone to ring". A call back was never made.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since then now my car is making a winding noise when I accelerate and decelerate and also the car sputters from time to time. This experience has left me traumatized as now I have no faith in the dealer of performing the services nor do I have any confidence in the car as it has been one issue after another​. My faith is lost with this dealership and I would steer anyone clear of trying to purchase a car or have service performed. Just came in to get an oil change and have the AC checked on our 2020 Hyundai Tuscan. I may be old but Service Advisors used to understand the basics of how cars worked. That does not seem to be the case anymore and the level of customer service has dramatically dropped. We were told that the oil change on this car (4 cylinder) was $120 dollars. I used to run a service department years ago and we paid kids out of tech school $6 plus commission ($2 an oil change and 20% of parts i.e. air filters, tire rotations and balance etc.) I guess this would be an equivalent of $15 dollars today. The oil now is likely around $4 a quart and 4-5 quarts are needed for the oil change and $10-15 for the oil filter. So an oil change may cost the dealer $40-$50 for the oil change. They charge $120 for the oil change meaning a minimum of $70 dollars for 15 minutes worth of work that I could train a child to do in an afternoon. Again, that child after minimum training should be able to bust out 2-3 oil changes in an hour *especially if he has a porter" making the profit for oil changes $140 to $210 an hour per oil change kid working. Crazy but I told them to go ahead this time but will start looking for another place to do oil changes in the future. The real issue I had is that the AC runs most of the time but when it is hot it runs for a while but does not always stay on. The AC had stopped working but found there was a loose connector. During that time I adjusted the freon levels while doing diagnostics. There was a connector that was loose and upon connecting it back, it has an intermittent issue (mainly on hot days.) Looking for someone to put the gauges on and tell me if the freon levels and the system was cycling (compressor kicking on at the correct time). Thinking it may be a pressure sensor kicking the system off due to my adjustments to the freon levels. Instead we were met by Service Advisor (Angie) who told us that this costs $550 and we can petition someone else to refund that money if we pay for the repair at the dealership. Trying to explain that I just want the pressure levels checked and to see if everything is within spec. she looked like she was unable to process that information. I then asked to speak to Collin Lord (think I am spelling it correctly) as $550 is pretty steep to check the pressure in the system. I was told he was busy and I could talk to the Service Manager (Ismail) and I declined as I had worked with Collin in the past and trusted him. Instead of getting a call from Collin I got a call from Ismail where he began to gaslight me that this was standard at any automotive shop. Within seconds I found many or most shops offer a free AC check (including connecting the hoses and verifying the pressure levels were correct when the compressor kicked in.) After realizing that Ismail was not listening and was just going continue attempt to gaslight me I repeated my request for Collin to call me back. Updates to follow. read more

My family was ripped off by Rick Case Hyundai and finance manager, Tracey Cohen! After negotiating the purchase of a car we'd leased for three years and signing the paperwork for "no money down," my Mother received a call from Tracey claiming she forgot to collect the $1000 down payment. Concerned, my sister gave them a credit card to cover it. But never once during the signing, which Tracey controlled by telling us she got us the best possible interest rate as she pushed paper after paper in front of my mother, was a $1000 deposit discussed. NOT ONCE! Since we were clear we had no money to put down we didn't think twice about it. But then the call came and my family acquiesced. And what a scam it was!!! If you value your hard earned money and wish not to be taken by a scamming dealership DO NOT GO TO RICK CASE HYUNDAI AND DO NOT ALLOW TRACEY COHEN TO FINANCE THE DEAL. She nor the dealership should be trusted. They absolutely scammed my mother out of a $1000 and they should be investigated!!! And by the way, during the financing we discovered we went to the same high school - a connection Tracey used to divert our attention and fleece us. And so i repeat, if you value your hard earned money stay away from Rick Case Hyundai and Tracey Cohen. read more

I came here with to take advantage of their offers. Unfortunately they were out of cars as many of these car dealerships. I left here with more knowledge that I have acquired on my own. But before I get into it, let me just give a shout out to Kemel and Victor who were amazing and funny and made this a whole experience on its own. 1. They have 42 banks, they can make anything happen. Just depends how much you stick to your guns. 2. Just like they high ball you, make sure you low ball them even more than you would want to. 3. You are paying for your car, not them. Do not let them make you feel like they are doing you a favor. I don't care how low inventory is. 4. Those zero down zero anything... is a total scam. The salesman Ridell and the finance manager Juan were excepcional! they were honest and they had a lot of patience and an awesome attitude while I looked at and test drove all the different options that were within what I was looking for. 5/5/24 I went to this dealership (925 N State Rd 7, Plantation, FL 33317) at about 1 pm. I had the worst experience, they made an offer which was good without knowing I own a hyundai elantra played off, but as soon as they knew that they conditioner the offer they previously gave me, by saying the only way they will keep the offer is If I sale my old car to them. Even though, they made an offer which it wasn't convenient for me. I didn't feel appreciate as a client for the fact the manager didn't know about my car it was a hyundai and if I want to sell it or not when he made the offer in the first place. To begin with, he never said that they required for me to sell my car to them. Rick case can not force client to sell their cars to them when the client has a better offer and they are not will to match the price, the worst part is they gave an offer and they don't own the offer and after they see they can get anoter business with me as a client they change the terms and condition as they covinence. This show how Rick case is treating serious costumes like me who is trying to get a good business, this dealership shows me the low respect and the poor customer service they provides . I am very unhappy with this situation and how make people waist their time. Now I realized this is not a serious company for that when I was there the dealership was empty. read more

Asked the salesperson Ito see one, he replied we don't have any. went home and looked it up on the computer which indicated there were three available. Called the dealership and told them what happened, they replied there were 3 available. This is definitely a place not to shop at. read more
