Came here for my lunch break at work. Ordered garlic bread with cheese and jalapeño poppers because I didn't want to eat meat on a Friday during lent. The cashier taking my order was friendly. The dinning area is small. This is better for take out. When I saw the cheese oozing out the bread I was excited and thought this was going to be great, unfortunately that was not the case; The cheese was great, it was soft, fresh, and had a good pull; however, there were no pieces of garlic and the garlic taste was very faint. I wouldn't be surprised if this was made using powered garlic seasoning instead of real garlic cloves. The jalapeño poppers had a great crunch to it, but it felt very bland to me; Even the spice level felt low, I wasn't impressed. read more

Slightly pricey for hit or miss pizza and other offerings. You never really know with this place. Too hard to go through every single item in here but I have had mixed results. The food is usually fresh which is good. It's not groundbreaking though, But I do like the deserts. They make wraps and sandwiches for you if you want. I will say the staff is usually friendly though. If you live nearby and don't feel like going to another pizza place than it may be a good option. But you can probably get better quality at better prices somewhere else. read more

I ordered chicken scarp and asked for the pasta on the side and of course it didn't come that way.. don't enjoy it any other way. Ordered several pies for a children's birthday party. The address that popped in Seamless was incorrect so the restaurant was nice enough to call me to let me know about the error and let me know their new ETA. The pizzas were hot and delicious with just the right crust, sauce and cheese ratio. The female delivery person was extremely pleasant and let me know that they could cut the pizzas into smaller slices if I let them know the pizza was for a kid birthday party. I made my first visit to Westover the week before Christmas, having ordered food online. I picked it up pretty much on the 25 mins they told me it would take. However, when I got home (only a few minutes walk away) we found that my pizza was a 12" as opposed to the 14" I paid for, without the anchovies I'd also paid for and a side salad had the wrong dressing (Italian not Caesar). I therefore walked back to report this, only so that they might double check online orders closer in future. The manager could not have been nicer. He went online and said he had "sorted it out". I presumed that he had just refunded me the price difference, but I then received an email saying that the order had been cancelled. I went back inside to query this and he confirmed that was the case ie a full refund. To cut the story short, I said that this was far too generous and insisted on paying $40 in cash (the original order was around $60). They were very grateful but it was only fair. Fast forward about 4 days and I actually went in to order rather than trust the internet. Again I was told to pick it up in 25 mins. I returned (to no acknowledgment) and stood there waiting. At the 45 minute mark, I asked whether the order was nearly ready and was told 'another 5 minutes'. About 15 minutes later the order finally appeared. No apology until I asked whether they were going to offer any explanation at which point I got a cursory 'sorry but we're backed up with orders'. I turned to leave and the 'pizza chef' shouted "What do you expect ?" Well Mr 'chef', what I (and any reasonable person) would expect is :- a) you know (or should know) how many orders you have and how long they're going to take, so if it's going to be an hour don't say come back in 25 minutes b) if you do give a ridiculously inaccurate wait time, tell the customer when they return, in a nice way and with an apology, that you're really busy and that the order will take much longer than expected rather than just letting them stand there waiting c) don't start shouting at the customer as if it's their fault you can't run the business properly d) would it kill you rather than shouting, to perhaps throw in an order of, for example, garlic knots as a goodwill gesture. (I realize that the last couple of words are something you're probably not familiar with.) Just be prepared for anything from great customer service to absolutely none if you visit Westover. read more

I have been a loyal customer for 15 years, but the level of service declined majorly the last 18 months. Nothing arrives on time and when it does arrive it's cold. The to add insult to injury, when you call the restaurant to voice your concerns, some fat mouthed "Karen" gives you an attitude and basically tells you to deal with it. You know what Karen? Ordered delivery last night from here through the Yelp Eats24 app and was disappointed. Still looking for my favorite pizza spot in Stamford and this wasn't it. I ordered a large white pizza and the estimated delivery time was 45-60 minutes, which I expected (and was fine with) on a Saturday night. However, my delivery was arrived way later than 60 minutes and WAS COLD! I was so excited for pizza and instantly became disappointed. The white pizza was also very greasy and the ricotta did not have much flavor. I ended up throwing it in my oven to re heat it in order to enjoy it. The one benefit was it was normal pizza, not the stupid thin crust CT pizza everyone loves (and I despise). Overall, definitely NOT ordering delivery from here again. I love their special salad with grilled chicken. That's what I order every single time. I have noticed though, that it has been made with different toppings a few different times. Most recently, they added those hot peppers, which I was not a fan of. The small is actually pretty huge- need a mixing bowl to toss the dressing with the salad. This review is based off of a delivery experience. Ordered a small plain cheese and a "wedge salad." For this area I would definitely say it's on the lower end of pizza. Now here's where they messed up and shouldn't have. When I order a Wedge Salad it is typically a wedge of lettuce, bacon, blue cheese crumbles and tomato....right? I'm so sorry for my negative review but I have to be honest. I have always loved thick crust, puffy pizza. I have never had a thin crust pizza covered in oil. I found it nauseating. I nearly vomited eating it. Again... this is not the report of someone who has had thin crust pizza before. I've never been to the restaurant, but I've ordered take-out from them a TON of times. This is my go-to-place for ordering pizza or subs...garlic knots are pretty awesome too. Delivery is reliable and friendly. Website is easy to use for ordering too. A good friend of mine and I ordered a few times together - he wasn't a huge fan of the pizza, but he did like their subs. About the pizza...he though it was good, but not great ...I don't really trust his judgement though because EVERYWHERE in stamford we've ever tried pizza, he doesn't like it.
