Not bad! I first tried Westover II through the Too Good To Go app for discounted food before they toss everything at the end of the day. For $3.99 I had a little selection of pizzas and a sausage roll which was cool. Of course it was a different experience from ordering something fresh made, but the food was okay. In my opinion you don't make a marg with just dough, thick sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. Considering there are quite a few pizzerias in the area, finding the best is quite the feat! In our pursuit we tried Westover II and were delightfully surprised. The order was quick and seamless using the Slice app. Quoted time during peak hours on a Friday night was a bit long (95 minutes) but we were surprised as our order took only 60 minutes. Delivery person was friendly and took appropriate COVID measures. The food is awesome. We did a white pie with chicken and bacon, boneless wings, and meatballs. The dough tastes fresh, the ricotta was spot on and and the meatballs were perfect. We especially liked the sauce included with the meatballs. The breaded boneless wings were crispy and tender. I always eat at westover pizza. They have the best pizza the best wings and the best everything. But tonight made me appreciate them even more. I was walking the neighborhood wondering what I was going to eat. I had $5 in my pocket. I said I'll get a slice of pizza. Didn't know how much 1 slice was and he let me know I had enough for 1 slice. Instead of letting me buy 1 slice. He let me buy 2 slices for money I had. It really showed a decency in humanity. Just picked up a large pie (half cheese half onion and peppers) and a large salad with mozzarella. Price with tax 30.49 - seemed high - grabbed a menu (white paper print out) to verify price when I got home. I did the math and it was high. Called - Got charged 3.5 for the toppings for half a pie - that's high - their policy is half topping cost same as a full pie (not a standard industry policy nor did I get 3.50 worth of vegetables). Both the pie and salad price had gone up - told menus was out of date (black and white copy machine printout) asked what the menus in front of him said - he conceded that based off that, I was overcharged. 1 on the pie and 2 on the salad. Smugly he said drive back and get the difference. Salad was decent. Pie was average-There's better options at fairer prices, though, in the area. read more

Ordered on Uber eats. Delivery time stated at order was 50 mins-ridiculous given that it's a 10 min drive away. Order window time passes so I call the restaurant and they claimed it was in the oven and that it would be there soon. Order still never came so I had to speak with Uber support to obtain a refund. Never again. Even if this was Ubers issue the restaurants need to realize that these issues give them a black eye. Also-you have a TON of former NYCers that moved up here. Had been thinking of giving the new Westover location a try since they opened, but with the Corona-crazies, hadn't had the chance until recently. Stopped in for a quick Sausage-parm sub on my way home one afternoon... the place is on the small side, but sparkling-clean and welcoming, and the staff was super-friendly... my hero was great, and made me want to try their pizza, which I did last night. Got a large plain cheese pie, and was very happy with the result! As other posts have mentioned, there is definitely a high cheese-to-sauce ratio, but it works! Was really good, and am now looking forward to trying a few more different pizzas in the near future. I may even raise my star rating after a few more visits, but at least so far, they've definitely eared their way into my take-out rotation!!! read more

Saw the note in Hey Stamford! that this location had opened up down the block from my house. We placed a large lunch order on day 4 or 5 of its operation- chicken parm, pizza, a few pastas and a Special Salad- and told it would be about 40 minutes. The order arrived in 30 minutes, and it was hot and correct. The portions sizes are huge, the shrimp and chicken were perfectly cooked, and the pastas were fresh with great sauces. Everyone in our house raved about it and declared it our new favorite.
