On the side of the house with both our CHILDRENS rooms the main board needed a swap instead of Adam coming to do the maintenance he had walked my husband threw it in freezing cold weather because long story short he was to busy to come by. In the mean time we are contractors so we got him multiple jobs that he installed mini splits on jobs that we had been working on. So we did get friendly with him. On one install he installed a completely crooked unit it was a half inch off the wall and unleveled. When we called him to come fix that and finish some plumbing he promised and we paid to do he refused and basically just blew us off stealing that money and never coming to fix his terrible work. After a few months the same thing happened to the main board on our kids side of the house it's middle of winter and instead of us calling because he basically robbed us my father the homeowner reached out and nothing... so now we are stuck with a broken unit that no one locally even sells the low end parts to fix. I highly highly highly recommend not using Adam. He comes off as a nice guy but he's a fraud and a thief. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! He will leave your kids freezing in the winter and not care at all. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for an honest guy! Most either weren't familiar with my boiler or couldn't schedule a service call for days. When I called Rob, the owner of R. E. Coogan Heating Inc., he explained that they were busy but promised to stop by that evening to see what he could do. Rob arrived around 7 PM and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Although he couldn't get the boiler running that night, he assured me he would contact the manufacturer the next day and continue looking for a solution. True to his word, he called me the following day with recommendations from the manufacturer and returned that evening to try them. It was clear that he was doing everything possible to repair the boiler and save us the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, the boiler could not be repaired because the required parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. After exhausting every reasonable option to restore it, Rob helped us move forward with a replacement as quickly as possible. After four days without hot water, I expected we would have to wait at least another week for a new installation. Rob initially estimated that the work could begin Friday and be completed by Monday. However, he called on Wednesday to let me know he had rearranged his schedule and hoped to start earlier. At 3 PM on Thursday, Rob arrived with Henry and Nick to begin removing the old boiler. He then brought in additional crew members the next day and worked hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible. As promised, our new boiler was installed and our hot water was restored by Friday evening. What impressed me most was Rob's commitment to helping us. He went out of his way to accommodate our family, worked tirelessly to find the most cost-effective solution, and followed through on every promise he made.
