This place gets it! They have created a space where they seem to understand that we all hate going to the dentist because it gives us anxiety and shame. I was thrilled to locate Dr. Chelsea Dean on Google, she was my dentist at a previous dental office, and happy to see she has opened her own practice. I broke a tooth and needed an appointment and they were able to get me right in that morning. Erin texted everything I needed to start a new patient account and when I arrived, I was able to walk right into an exam room. Michela immediately put me at ease, getting information, vitals and taking x-rays. Dr. Dean joined us and we discussed my problem and she gave me her honest opinion about the best way to proceed. She recommended an oral surgeon, and while we talked, Michela and Erin contacted the other dental office, and by the time I left, all the necessary information was sent to the other dentist. I am an anxious dental patient, and I was made perfectly at ease for my entire visit. I am so relieved to be back in Dr. Dean's care! Wow! I can't begin to say enough about the team at Westside Dental! I'm not the biggest fan of dental offices, since I was a child I have never felt comfortable at a dental office. Let's just say that I know how dentists and doctors get good reviews, it's because they send out surveys while you're in the middle of treatment so you're too afraid to write anything negative. I'll just let my one star review talk for itself. I will say one thing, I went in for a front tooth veneer and funny how it didn't match so I had to pay an additional large fee to have my teeth whitened. The whitener got all over my mouth, resulting in numerous blisters and tons of pain. I have a small mouth and informed the nice assistant that the retractor was too big for my mouth yet she forced it and jammed my back molar implant loose resulting in it coming out. Of course, the dentist Didn't have the tool to tighten the implant back in so I had to go to a specialist to have it replaced resulting in many more dollars spent. She didn't even offer to make it right or reimbursed me for the whitening I did not need. Hopefully, they won't keep sending out review surveys until the job is completed. It's sort of like being bullied when you're in their chair. I beginning to think dentists are like used car salesmen. No offense to used car salesmen, they have more integrity. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dean and her staff. Erin and Mikaela (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) were both so kind and helpful. Erin spent like 45 minutes on the phone trying to straighten out my insurance. Mikaela got the X-rays and for the first time ever, X-rays didn't hurt! (Probably because they weren't those horrible bite-wing ones. They have some pretty cool equipment there.) I should mention that I just randomly showed up there with no appointment begging for help due to massively extreme and unbearable pain in my jaw that came out of nowhere. All the places with "emergency dental services" on their websites couldn't get me in until November, but Erin was able to squeeze me in within less than an hour the same day! The pain made it so I wasn't even able to think straight, but everyone was so kind and patient! Dr. Dean explained everything, offered me options, and called in prescriptions immediately. She was so empathetic and professional! I just can't say enough about what a great experience my first visit was! read more
