Ate a good meal and had a sleep for 16 hrs. My husband was giving me two kinds of drops I was prescribed during the nighttime and in the morning and pills before I went to sleep as well. I can tell you that I had no irritation or pain at all. If I would have to rate my pain - it would be zero. It was an amazing experience! Both doctors: doctor WILL (LASIK) and doctor TIAN (ICL) as well as all Will Vision team done a significant, amazing, great job. It's now 19 hrs after surgeries were done. I have 20/20 vision, I continue to have my drops every 4 hrs. I don't feel anything that would remind me I've ever had an eye surgery done, even though it was done 19 hrs ago. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this clinic WILL VISION & LASER CENTERS and the best doctor ever JACK TIAN! My ICL went so fast and smooth, I've not even realized it's started and it was done already! SO IMPRESSED! I would rate my experience as 100 out of 10. May the Lord reward you!

TLDR: Got an eye infection from standard eye exam here and no guidance from this office/doctor…read more A couple of years ago I had an issue with this office taking over 2 months to get my contact lens order fulfilled with no proactive updates, but I let it slide because I really liked the optometrist and thought my prescription was more accurate than I've gotten at other places. That said, after my appointment this month I will never return. The day following my standard eye exam, my left eye was still extremely sensitive to light and bloodshot. I gave it a day and with no improvement, called the customer service line. She said she was sending my message to triage and to expect a call from the doctor. Well, after 2 more BUSINESS days the call never came... My eye was getting worse and puffy so I had to do an urgent care appointment to get prescribed medicated eye drops, they told me it was clearly infected and I likely got it from my appointment. After my urgent care appointment, I called back Vancouver Eye Care to let them know I got an infection from my appointment and never got a call from the doctor. The person on the line was apologetic, but I never heard anything else. Mistakes happen and according to urgent care, conjunctivitis is going around, so don't know that they lack proper hygiene practices, but the lack of concern over their patients' health after leaving the office is a huge red flag.

Having just moved to the area from out of state a few years ago, it was time to find a new eye…read moredoctor. Our dentist is in the same building as this location for Vancouver Eye Care so I looked them up on line and scheduled an eye exam. My optometrist was Dr. Sayge Heintzelman, O.D. and both she, and the assistant that helped with my exam were great. I was surprised that the assistant did the bulk of the exam, as I've always gone to smaller eye clinics in the past where the doctor did everything, but as I said, they both were great. It had been several years since my last exam and I knew I would need new prescription lenses so after the exam I waited for 15 minutes until the lady who was assisting folks pick out glasses and get them measured was done with another patient. I wish I remembered her name, as she was very helpful in selecting frames that complemented my face. It was also my first time getting progressive lenses and she did an excellent job of explaining how those work and what to expect. Just under 2 weeks later my new glasses were in and I did have to wait quite a while in the waiting area to pick them up. The staff that assists with pick-ups and adjustments for new frames was getting trained on some new equipment and rather than pause the training I waited 20 minutes to get my glasses. Not a huge deal, but since they knew I was waiting it would have been better for them to pause their training for a few minutes to assist me. But I'm sure that was just a one-off oopsie and I will definitely come back for my future eye exams as everything else went smoothly and was great service.

I explained to her that it has been two weeks since the swelling started and it has not gotten better. She looked at my eye and explained I have some clogged oil glands and recommended that I apply warm compresses and prescribed me an antibiotic due to possible infection. We discussed other options such as "topical drops" or draining the oil glands if my eye got worse. Two days later the swelling in my worsen towards evening time, so the next day I called to make an appointment to see a doctor. This time I was seen by Dr. Shauyene Hsieh. She walked into the exam room and asked me to explain what was going on, so I explained to her what was going on with my eye. She looked at both my eyes and said she is going to order me allergy drops, after I had already explained to her that I have been using allergy drops, warm compresses, and been on antibiotics for the last 2 weeks. I asked her if she can order me "topical antibiotic drops" she proceeded to laugh at me and said "topical" and antibiotic drops drops are the same thing. I felt humiliated, not only was this doctor not listening to a word I was saying but she was now laughing at me. I felt as if my medical needs were not being addressed and I was being rushed out. I explained to her that Dr. Heintzelman said that if my eye got worse that we can look at other options such as Topical drops. She snapped back at me and said it was not included in her notes and continued to ignore what I was saying. At this point my husband could see that I was getting frustrated so he asked her about steroid shot to drain the capped oil glands. She was very short with him and asked him if she should repeat the treatment plan which we just went over. It's expensive to see a Specialist. If I could have avoided seeing one I would have, but since I was in pain I had to come in twice in one week. There should never be a reason why a patient who is paying to see a provider be treated in such manner as I was. A patient should not feel afraid to ask questions because they are afraid the Provider might get upset with you or laugh at you for not using the correct medical terminology. Dr. Shauyene Hsieh was unprofessional, rude, and uncompassionate. She was slamming things down as we were leaving the room. No one should be treated the way I was by Dr Hsieh. It was unethical, and absolutely unacceptable. I walked out of the appointment feeling humiliated and without answers.

Then when I had questions about the results and what was included as recommendations, he said "you need to find thst out on your own. Thats what adults do. Thats what being an adult is about." I literally was doing just that. Asking questions about my medical diagnosis and his response was "go find that out." Seriously? I could not believe how rude he was. Oh. I kept getting billed for additional amounts after the hundreds of dollars that I already gave them for the "free" Covid testing. Even though my son and I were treated by the same provider during the same visit, the PA who saw me coded MY visit as treating me for nausea. Yes, nausea was one of my symptoms and I did take him up on his offer for a prescription to help alleviate it. I explained this to the billing department who said they would investigate. I received a letter this week that "after a thorough review" they have determined that "it was billed correctly and no adjustment will be made". I'm not sure how much they get reimbursed by the government for Covid testing, but I am willing to bet that it is far less than what they are trying to get from me. What a bunch of amoral thieves taking advantage of people like that. No sane person would come to that determination after seeing that not only did I get tested for Covid, but so did my son during that visit. I made it perfectly clear when I checked in and first spoke with the PA that I was there for Covid testing. Therefore, the only logical explanation to why they are coding is as treating me for nausea instead of Covid testing is the bottom line. It's practices like this that make people not go in, thus potentially spreading Covid. Shame on you
