We have had chickens for going on three years now. We have also lived like 10 min from this place for three years too... and we didn't know it! We love going to feed stores for our chickens' feed and treats. But we thought the closest one was near Aspen Park. Weren't we pleasantly surprised! We got our chickens a new type of feed (made in Colorado as well!) And 5 lbs of homemade chicken scratch for way cheaper than Murdochs, Tractor Supply, or Big R! Plus, my chickens seem to love this Agland high protein feed way better than the Purina we have been getting from Murdochs. Another added benefit of shopping here is that it's all tax-free! The gentleman told me that's because it's considered agricultural. Plus, you can't beat small business customer service! The gentleman who helped us was super friendly and very informative. We have recommended this place to everyone with livestock or dogs living in the Lakewood, Belmar, or Denver area! Big box stores have NOTHING on this place! Shop local! read more

I went here twice and both times the owner seems like she is so stressed and overworked. She made me feel like I'm getting in her way. No customer service. No thanks. I would rather go to Wardle Feed where everyone is so warm and friendly and relaxed. Prices are higher than Wardle. read more

A small joint that you can't see from the road, but trust your GPS. It's just about 5 miles outside downtown Denver. Lots of dry dog food and some canned wet. Tons of dog chew things (hooves, pig ears) and kong toys if every size. Was told she had cat food also, but it was probably not in the shopping area, which is small. Didn't see much cat stuff. The woman at the counter (Chris? According to her card) was friendly and down to earth. I asked for flock block and was told she did not carry it. However, she also told me WHY...it just attracts mice, rats and bugs. Good point. The store room contains the bulk of their merchandise. As far as chicken feed, they carry Manna Pro 16% in pellets or crumbles in 10lbs or 50lbs bags. They also have feed for small birds in gallon sized zip lock bags. They are even specific to BREED...parrot, parakeet... I bought an overstuffed gallon bag of squirrel treats (whole corn, BOSS, and whole peanuts) for $3.99. The feed was about $18, which is about $5 more than the big feed stores 20 miles away. Another feed store NEAR Colorado AND Evans charges $32 for the cheapest 50lb bag of feed. This is a happy medium. There is even a young man who loads your purchases into your car without asking. I didn't give it 5 stars because you can't really window shopping/browse. Absolutely incredible store. Have everything you need and it's all very reasonably priced. Staff is always very friendly and very helpful and one of the few local shops you can still go to in Colorado for pet stuff. If you pass by and need anything stop by and treat them kindly. Went here to get some wormer for my chickens. Walked in and stood at the counter with my boyfriend for about five minutes while the older lady sat on the phone talking about movies with her friend. Are you serious?? You would think it was rude if your friend did that to you, but it's extremely rude when you go into a business to pay them money and they totally ignore you... I may have felt differently if she was talking about products or business, but no. MOVIES... C'mon! Wardle Feed provides much better customer service if you ask me. I have always had great service there and never had to wait for someone to wrap up their pointless phone conversations to get some help. read more

I've been buying chicken feed from them for a couple of years, but eventually stopped. The feed does not list ACTUAL ingredients - grain - they use for making the feed. I tried to google what grain Manna Pro Egg Maker uses - nothing!!! Makes me think they are purposely hiding that information, and just provide the general list of vague ingredients like: "processed grain by-products, grain products, plant protein products, forage products.." Plus, all I could find on Manna Pro website and internet in general was "OMEGA egg maker" not just "Egg Maker"; I couldn't even find a similar bag Curve Feed & Supply sells their chicken feed in. Also, 16% protein IS NOT ENOUGH for your chickens to be healthy. Service - ok and often not so good. The lady's "mood" is different almost every time. I've seen more friendly folk, who truly care about animals, but not in this store. read more

We get our chicken feed and "wild animal" (i.e. squirrel) treats from Curve, and I've always been impressed by their selection and customer service. They have lots of different feeds to choose from and everyone who works there is extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! read more

I love coming to this store! Mathew and Chris are super knowledgeable and are always helping me choose what's best for my pets. They helped me pick out the best cat food and now his fur is SO soft. I love curve feed. I purchase all my chicken and rabbit and rat feed here. Their certified straw and timothy hay quality is next to none. Huge, heavy bales, never a spot of mold. The lady at the counter is always friendly and helpful. read more

Decided to buy a 50# bag of chicken feed at Curve, normally I go to Wardles. $4 higher at Curve Feed for same feed. I'll keep driving to Wardles which is a little farther but has longer hours. I watch my dollars closely, I would have been ok with a $1 more but $4 more won't work for me when its same exact feed. read more

I have never felt so welcomed at a retail establishment. Chris & Mathew are extremely helpful and are willing to answer any questions regarding products or just to chat. I really could not pass up reviewing this store, even though they did not actually have what I was looking for when I called in. Hands-down the nicest customer service I have ever received. The lady running the store has been so helpful and informative both times I was in need. One time I went in just to look around, and got to talking about my new chickens with who I suspect is the owner. She was so knowledgeable and very sweet. Much better than some other experiences at other feed stores where I was made to feel like a newbie who shouldn't have chickens. Then, most recently, I was searching for a very hard-to-find medicine, and she gave me a very nice explanation as to why I was not finding it anywhere in the Denver area. I literally called every feed store with in a 45 minute radius, and only 1 had what I was looking for. But, my point is, this gal helped me figure out who to call. She's just the bees knees in my opinion and I hope everyone will support this little gem. It's hard to find someone so content with their job. Positivity is contagious!! read more

This place has been family owned from the get go. Love the old-fashioned feel. The owner is the storekeeper. How normal is that in today's world? I love supporting local businesses, and this one is a gem. Heartily recommend it for dog and cat food as well. They even offer car liners for hay and straw bales. Go see for yourself! read more
