Too many times I've found beers over one year past their expiration dates. Now that I'm paying attention, I won't be shopping here nearly as much anymore. And while they advertise their low sale prices, they don't mention their everyday prices are actually a bit higher than other local stores. Charging more money than at other local shops for expired products is not a smart way to conduct business. If more people pay attention, the store's reputation will not necessarily keep the doors open. Please do better.

They have all of the regular brands that you would expect, but they also have some rotating stock that comes through that is worth a look. Recently I have noticed a few offerings from Garrison Brothers as well as Widow Jane (no Black Opal yet, lol). A few of the guys that I work and ice fish with are big bourbon and whiskey snobs, so this is where I go to stock up when they are in town. The folks at the front counter are always nice and are a good source of recommendations if you are looking for something special.

I have yet to find anywhere in Rockford to carry such rare and unique finds than Cork, Keg & Spirits. They carry anything you would want, be it wine, whiskey, beer, or anything else. If you can find it elsewhere, you'll probably find it for cheaper, but many things that they carry are not find-able in any store in the area. They keep their store clean and approachable, and also offer many events such as wine and whiskey tastings, which are very worth it.
