People either need to wait in line or order at at bar. They were letting people do both and it caused long waits and was upsetting to most guests. I know people can call in, so trying to be understanding of the short staff. But the way it was handled left a bad taste in our mouths, even with great tasting cocktails. Fixing this will improve the experience for everyone.

You can sit outside on the patio overlooking the vineyard or even sit in the vineyard. You order your wine selection in the gift shop that also offers small plates. They have many different wine varieties and Andy who worked there gave us a detailed description of each one. Unfortunately he was also a sale person wanting you to spend money which was a turnoff. We each elected to do a tasting of 3 different wines - all reds .Unfortunately the beautiful setting was better than any of the wines we tasted. We walked away disappointed as we really wanted to buy a bottle to support a local business but we just didn't care for any of the 6 we tried. If you are in the area and want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Galena Territory,give them a try and maybe you will find a wine that you will like.

In fact the flavor was so offensive to my pallet that I didn't finish any of the three varieties recommended. I really enjoy dry wines and stayed clear of the sweet so maybe that was the issue. They offered Michigan whiskey, cocktails, cider, and beer. I got a cider & my fiancée got a beer from a local Geneva brewery. We absolutely loved both of them! There were also some bar snacks available, candy, cherries, cheese & crackers, etc. to munch on if you're hungry. They have a cute retail shop in the front with merch, cutting boards, and wine. The class was affordable and was a great gift option too. We were in a small group maybe 10 people or so and we got to taste five different types of sparkling wine, including champagne and cava, while learning more about the along the way! The storefront itself is also very nice with a great selection of selected wines by the owner and none of the super big names you'd find at a box store. There is also a membership program you can be part of that has some cool travel opportunities too! Looking forward to other events and classes that they offer in the future!
